We thought both the evening meal and breakfast was excellent, the staff were extremely friendly and very pleasant. The room, although a little sparse, was clean, spacious and served our needs very well. The bed was extremely comfortable and we had a good nights sleep.

The glass shelf in the en-suite was falling off the wall and the door to the en-suite wouldn't close over the latch properly - a little picky but that's all we could find to criticise.

We have stayed here before, and will happily do so again. Their Le Marais restaurant is very good, but closed at weekends and bank holidays when we have often stayed. However the CourtePaille restaurant is on the corner off the main road, about 100 metres walk from the Kyriad, and nearly always open. The only drawback is that the footpath ends before you get to the Courte Paille, and so you have to walk on the road, or the uneven verge.

The rooms we have recently stayed in are spacious and recently repainted and to some extent refurbished. The sanitaryware does not appear to have been updated at the same time and is a little more stained and tired. Soundproofing is somewhat lacking, and we were woken at 3 in the morning by a couple talking in the corridor and then bumping around preparing for bed in the next room.

Easy and quick service

If you are looking for an affordable overnight stay and need a good bed, then this is the place for you. A simple motel right next to the N6 main road and a grill restaurant next door. We actually changed from another hotel to this one in order to sleep on comfortable beds.

The quality of the bathroom is sub par. The sink was clogged and there was no one to fix it, even though it was off-season. A change of room was not possible even though we were in an empty hotel. All fixtures in the bathroom were loose. But, would we stay here again? Yes, because of the beds and convenient location.
