Our group of 6 rented Villa Rake n Scrape for a winter getaway in February. The villa was exactly as described, and the kitchen and living space felt even larger than pictures. Communication was a breeze – very fast response and easy check-in/check-out. The property manager, Sasha, was very quick to respond to questions prior to our visit and gave us some great recommendations. Location was perfect. We drove to George Town almost daily and headed south to other beaches. Being able to walk to the marina for our boat excursion was a huge convenience. The views from the house were beautiful. We enjoyed coffee on the porch every morning, took several walks along the shore and spent time at both pools in the community. The kitchen could use some additional serving dishes and dinnerware, especially for larger groups. Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend this villa!

We LOVED our stay at February Point! It was the perfect location and I wish I could wake up to those views everyday! The villa had everything we needed and Sasha was quick to respond to all of my questions leading up to our trip. We loved having breakfast on the patio and could not have been closer to the water. We rented a boat from Minn’s one day and was able to stop at the villa to pick up something we forgot. I highly recommend renting a boat to explore on your own. It was one of our favorite things!! We didn’t make it to the beach club until our last day but it was beautiful and had the best service. They offered to have lunch ready for us before they even opened on the day of our departure. We loved being in a gated community and always enjoyed talking to the security guards going in and out of the gate. All of the people we met in Exuma were so friendly and genuine. We will definitely be back and can’t wait until the next time!!

We had the best time in Exumas. The condo was perfect, clean and very well stocked. It had almost everything you would need for your stay. We also got an early check in which was very accommodating from the host. We will be back!

The property was wonderfull and had everything we needed and the owners and rental management was great to deal with I would highy recommend staying here.

The property is beautiful!! We were able to pull a boat up to the house and walk in . Its minutes via boat from Minns and easy shopping. The views are amazing and our kids were able to snorkle and kayak in the back yard. The manager was always available and helpful! The kitchen had many basics and we cooked a lot of meals for easy nights in ..a washer/dryer downstairs was a bonus! We would absolutely stay here again!!

We stayed 7 days at this lovely property and couldn't ask for better. The space was perfect for a group and the water access was incredible. Will absolutely stay again.

This was our second time in Exuma and first VRBO and it was perfect. The location couldn’t be more perfect and the calm and quiet was amazing. Turtles and sting rays right on the beach off the property and perfect place to go off with a boat for a day of exploring. Property was very clean and comfortable: master bed was superior to any hotel bed we have had! Some things might need a bit of updating but it didn’t detract from 5 stars accommodation. We will be back but would be curious of coming at a less quiet time of year as our last 2 nights were a bit disturbed by neighbors who came in villa next door and were blasting music and occupying the beach with jet skis, lounge chairs etc….. thankfully it was just the very end of the trio but the overall experience would have been much less enjoyable if we had such noise and distraction during the rest of the trip. Not sure if that would have happened in peak season. Regardless, we will come back as February point is the best location on Exuma and Rake N’ Scrape has by far the best set up of all! Thank you so much to our gracious hosts for making our 20 year anniversary and daughters birthday a memorable vacation!

The Rake 'n Scrape property was a perfect choice for a quick getaway to Great Exuma. The house had everything we needed for our trip and was well stocked with necessities so we only had to bring our clothes. This was our first time staying in February Point and we were very impressed. The house has two small beaches adjacent to it along with a community pool next to the home along with the main pool at the clubhouse. Although we didn't use them, it is a perfect location for paddleboarding (provided at the home) as we woke up every morning with the ocean looking as smooth as glass. A great restaurant is located in the neighborhood, The Rusty Anchor, for very good, convenient meals. It is very convenient to George Town for shopping, water taxi, restaurants, as well. The beds were very comfortable. It was everything we needed. It is a tri-plex, so likely a good spot for big groups as I "believe" all units owned by same owners. We are currently in the build process on the island and have been here many times. We would stay here again, for sure. Thanks!

The Rake n Scrape in February Point is clean, beautiful, and well equipped. With the small pool next door we didn’t even venture up to the main pool- except for dinner one night at the Rusty Anchor. The Villa is beachfront and has paddle boards and kayaks! We were never lacking for things to do. We rented a boat from Minns- a must do to be able to snorkel in the NationaI park and explore so many beaches and sand bars. Took an excursion up to staniel cay for a full day of adventures. Jason or Graeme from the Cays to Exuma are both excellent guides and showed us a wonderful full day!. Exuma is gorgeous and feb point is the perfect location. Easy quick drive to fantastic restaurants (rent a keep- the roads around town can be a bit rough in places) and in to town to the grocery store for supplies. We loved having the kitchen to prepare breakfast and enjoyed morning coffee on the veranda. We enjoyed grilling one night too. The hammocks were fun. Having a washer and dryer on hand was excellent! No need to pack too much. If you’re lucky Reggae the pup might pay you a visit! You can be social or keep to yourself- whatever you prefer. Getting a local Covid test was easy. We had a wonderful vacation and can’t recommend this villa enough! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home. Five stars! For reference my kids range from college student to high school junior and everyone had a blast! We will be back.

Property is in a great location for easy access to Georgetown amenities and boat rentals. Georgetown is also fairly central so this house is a reasonable drive to the south end (e.g. Tropic of Cancer beach) or the north end (e.g. departure location for Exuma Water Sports). If you rent a boat from Minn's this is an easy location to pick up from and run back to the house and easy to anchor out front. The appliances and facilities were well kept and up to date. The neighborhood itself is also very nice with a couple good pools (one only 100 feet away from house).

We would recommend this villa to anyone. Sleeps six easily. Plenty of room. Direct access to a quiet cove with a small beach.

Wow! Right on the waterfront of the always emerald view. Very convenient to George Town for groceries and dining. WiFi on property, which we weren’t expecting. Paddle boards and kayaks were delivered while there, which we really enjoyed.

Gated community that is right on the water, easy to pull a boat in. Great view, TV works well, TV is located in the family room. AC works well. Pool at February Point is lovely. This community is situated in a perfect location, just outside Georgetown, a short 5 minute ride away.

The property was super!! A suggestion for making the check in experience better, would be to suggest that the club house, pool, restaurant, workout facilities would be available to guests that may be arriving prior to the 4pm check in time. As it turned out, our rental was available much earlier than 4pm. If possible, via text, it might be nice if the local clean up crew could let the renters know the property is ready for the renters. Please know I totally understand and respect Island Time, I’m just offering suggestions to further enhance an otherwise wonderful experience. One other item. We brought some food with us suitable for cooking on a grill. I was very pleased that there was a grill available. I may have missed it, but I don’t recall seeing a grill listed as an amenity for the property. A wonderful experience. It was our first time in the Exumas. We will definitely return. Thanks Ted

This was our second stay and it could not have been more perfect. There are 3 units and we have stayed in 2. Both are very clean, well stocked and in a perfect location. One of few in February Point that has a gorgeous beach. If you plan on renting a boat from Minn’s, then February Point is a perfect location. Will definitely be staying here again!

We stayed at Rake and Scrape for some of our wedding weekend and the location is amazing. Close to Rusty Anchor and beach is amazing right outside doorstep. Not all homes have private beach access and this was a treat. The pool right there is also very nice. The house is more beautiful than the pics, and the views from inside the home are amazing. Overall very relaxing! We plan to come back to Exuma as often as we can and would love to stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at February Point. Gorgeous, relaxing setting. House was perfect and had everything we needed. Restaurant and both pools were great! Shower in master is a little small. Only issue for me was the no see ums(for some reason they love me) they did not bite my husband or kids. We rented a boat from mims and enjoyed that and went to chat n chill. Tropic Breeze restaurant had great food and great views. Also, had an amazing meal at La Fourchette. Went to pig Island and kids loved that. Lots of sting rays, great snorkeling. People were wonderful and some of the most incredible scenery we have ever seen. Water was incredible. We truly enjoyed exuma and can’t wait to return someday.

We had a great time in the exumas, the villa was clean and comfortable. Great view from master bedroom. Resort restaurant was great, especially the Pizza. The security on property were very nice. Would stay here again.

This review will have three different areas: the Villa, February Point, and Exuma. VILLA: The Villa is amazing! Stayed at the Rake N Scrape. Very modern and new feeling. Everything worked great, but the downstairs AC was a bit confusing. But, overall no issues with the AC. Size wise, the Villa is huge. All the rooms were large and clean. The kitchen, dining room and living room are downstairs. Great lay out with new furniture and appliances. TV and internet worked well. Grilled outside one evening -- be sure to move the grill away from the door as the flies were out of control. All the bedrooms are upstairs. Again, great size. Only complaint is the master shower is a little small. Great patios all around. The snorkeling at the Villa is OK. Nice and convenient, but not much to see. Plus, the entry is rocky (swim shoes are a must). The pool attached to this triplex is OK, but recommend a quick walk down to the Club House. FEBRUARY POINT: FP is amazing. Didn't visit Sandals or Grand Isle, but can't imagine they are better. The guards at the front are great. The landscaping is immaculate. The location is perfect (just minutes from downtown). Everything is wonderful. The Club House is a 3 minute walk from the Villa. The Rusty Anchor is a great restaurant/bar with an amazing staff. The Club House has a great pool overlooking a small beach. The snorkeling here is pretty good (little silty but good) as both sides of the cove have rock formations with lots of fish. EXUMA: Exuma is amazing. THE PEOPLE: The people are fantastic. They are absolutely the nicest people in the world... always friendly, smiling and eager to help! THE BEACHES: The beaches are unbelievable. Tropic of Cancer Beach and Turtle Beach are my favorite - don't miss them. Do some homework before you go! Only after we visited Tropic Breeze restaurant (near TOC Beach) did I learn about the sunken ship. GROCERY STORES: Ate breakfast and a few meals at home. There are several grocery stores located around town. Groceries cost 2x as much as normal -- except the drinks (they are normal prices). Note the downtown store charges a premium for using a credit card. RESTAURANTS: All were good, but Blu was the best! THE TOUR: Used Robert's Island Adventure to see the iguanas, sharks, pigs, etc. Highly recommend. CURRENCY: Most of the time (90%), we were able to use a credit card. USD is accepted everywhere. DRIVING: Rented from Exuma Car Rental with no issues. Beware of potholes!

Beautiful home. Lovely beach out front. Pool did not look inviting. We rented a boat from Minns for 3 days and had a ball. Took our 3 granddaughters snorkling in Chat & Chill harbor. Note that April is rainy month. We were without internet the first 3 days, contact with the property manager was a bit schetcy but once she got there it was taken care of. One frustrating thing was the down stairs thermostate! It would not function, therefore we were either freezing or hot! Upstairs worked fine. Did not find the snorkling to be over impressive. Shirleys Fishfry is a must! Best food there. Dishwasher took at least 2 hours to run the cycle. We would definitly rent this home again! Very roomy! Large kitchen, living room, and bedrooms. Nice patio with two lounge chairs and a table which sat 4. Easy parking and nice to have the Rusty Anchor restaruant on the property. Beautiful pool at the restaruant! (different from next to home) Make note that most stores/liquior stores are closed on Sundays. The Prime Island meat market is a must! The best turkey lunch meat. Small store as well. Locals seem to shop there. We felt very safe there as you had to pass the guard gate upon entry. The nicest guards ever!!! Beautiful property and more to come as there was some areas under construction. That did not take away from our experince. Don't bother making the drive to Santana's. Not good food. Soon after exiting the airport you will notice a couple of spots to pull over and access the beach. It's a MUST! Best beach we saw! Extremly nice people on this island! We rented a vehicle from Berlies, worked out fine. They meet you at the airport. Don't expect a nice vehicle, but it will get you around. Very friendly staff! Bugs were not horrible. Our daughter did get bit a lot, but the other 5 of had minimal bites. I recommend "Off Deep Woods"

We have been visiting Exuma for 11-12 years and this was our first stay at February Point. We stayed in this villa for 2 weeks and also rented another of the owner's units across the breezeway for additional family. It's right on the main entrance road, so it's easy to find and get in and out of. ZERO road noise as it is Exuma. The location is very convenient if you rent a boat as it's 2 minutes by boat to Minn's and great for loading and unloading. There is a small beach right in front and very shallow water. Lots of fish, star fish, sting rays, etc. for the kids to enjoy. There's a small but refreshing pool right next door. These units have excellent outdoor spaces including patio and balconies. I was really surprised by how spacious these units are! I don't think the pictures really do a good job. There were 10 of us at most and everyone hung out here and we were never lacking for space. The dining seats 6 but we brought chairs form the other unit and it fit 9! The couch seats probably 15 but not when everyone is stretched out after a long day:) There's lots of windows which we had blinds open all the time. The kitchen is spacious as well and pretty much had everything we needed. I would suggest washing stuff first as much of the kitchen items seemed pretty dirty in the cabinets. AND the washer and dryer were excellent! When you are staying a couple of weeks and have lots of people in and out, being able to do laundry quickly is awesome. Bedrooms were all spacious, beds pretty comfy. I will complain about the master shower as it's really small. The tub is jetted and maybe 6 feet long. I wish the shower was better but I just used the one down the hall so no biggie. All in all, we would stay here again and have no issues renting from the landlord again. They had great and quick communication and were very accommodating.

Rake n Scrape was located in a beautiful gated community. We felt safe walking around and the pool and restaurant came in handy. The villa wasn't fully updated, but it was clean and the view was gorgeous. The master shower was very small and did have some mold/mildew inside. I would recommend bringing another ice chest as the one provided didn't hold ice long at all.

we just got back from rake n scape. our stay was great. Sasha the property manager helped with the couple minor issues we had. we have rented many different properties on Exuma and this is the one we all 4 want to return to. Hope to do that very soon.
