Quiet with a great view of Belfast Bay where you can watch seals while sipping your coffee. This place is well stocked with cooking equipment, games, books and instructions. The only issue was the owner seemed reluctant to hand over the key code until we were standing on the front porch…

We had a wonderful time at the beach house. Everything we could have needed was provided by our hosts. The cottage was very comfortable, cozy and bright and the views were fantastic. We were centrally located for excursions, dining and shopping. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The property is on a small circle drive with about a dozen cottages. This one is on the inner circle with a huge green space behind it for kids to play. It is also only a short walk to steps leading to the water. The kids loved exploring during low tide and skipping rocks during high tide. They played soccer out back and there were plenty of board games at the house to keep everyone entertained on a rainy afternoon. The kitchen is nicely equipped and there is plenty of space to cook, eat, and have a game going at the same time. The house is close to downtown Belfast, which makes for a great outing. You can even park by the footbridge and walk into town across it. This is a wonderful spot and we would come back again.

We had a lovely experience at the Beach House. The host communicated well with us, the amenities and condition of the house were exactly as described, and it was all in perfect order. Couldn't ask for more. Hope to go back again sometime.

Fully equipped very nice property with a beautiful view. Everything was as specified or better. No bad surprises. Quiet environment. The hosts were very easy to reach, collaborative and very helpful… always willing to add the extra little attention that makes the difference between ordinary and extraordinary. Only good words.

Beautiful
This was our first time in Maine and we are so happy we chose this beautiful cottage for our stay. The location is perfect with beautiful views and beach access. We enjoyed the close proximity to Camden and the tranquility of the property. The home is so quaint, clean and absolutely perfect.

Beautiful Belfast Bay
Loved being in this cottage with its views and close access to the water, not to mention Belfast and points north (Acadia, Castine, Blue Hill, Deer Isle) and south (Cambden,Rockland etc) Jeff and Abby are great and thoughtful hosts and thought of so many extra touches to include for the comfort of their guests. Three cheers!

Maine for the first time!
This was our first trip to Maine which was on our bucket list for quite a while. We found this cottage through VRBO and from the moment we contacted the owner, Jeff, he was amazing. He always answers your texts, sent us 4 pages of all the information about the cottage, including to the detail what was included in room by room, and while we were there he contacted us again to make sure we were enjoying our stay.
We could not have asked for a better place to stay. It is beautiful, clean, faces the water, and close to everything. We recommend it highly!

Best House For Maine Getaway
We have rented a number of beach properties over the years, and I have never had a home so clean, well-stocked and perfectly organized for a week's vacation. The Belfast Beach House has amazing views, is perfectly furnished, and has everything you need for a great vacation. Jeff was a perfect host -- checking in early with us, providing us all the details we needed, and available with helpful answers to all our questions about the town. The beach house is close to downtown Belfast and many great hiking areas. I cannot say enough about how much we loved our vacation here.

Wonderful place to stay, great for families and kids!
We loved our stay at the Belfast Beach House. The house is beautiful, clean and incredibly well equipped with everything we could possibly need. We loved the location, the incredible ocean view and the huge grassy lawn in the back. Our 1 and a half year old loved looking at the water and birds and boats every morning. The owners were very responsive and helpful when we had questions. We had a great time and would definitely stay again.

Belfast rocks
My family of five, two boys, three adults, enjoyed staying at the Gordon’s beach cottage very much while exploring local Belfast and Searsport. Made it to Acadia one day. I would stay there again in a heartbeat and recommend to anyone excited to explore Central coast of Maine with Belfast as your homebase.

Beautiful Oceanside View
What an amazing view! We loved staying here and enjoyed being so close to the beach. Morning coffee while overlooking the water was the best. So quiet and peaceful and the house is very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need. Belfast center is just down the road if you want to stroll around a quaint town center or get a bite to eat. We will certainly be back!

We were really delighted to have a pleasant and simple location to come to before daughters wedding!
The house is well stocked, easy to get around. Plenty of room for the guests to sleep and a pleasant location to take a deep breath. All of the area guests or owners were delightful to speak with or they happily gave you the peace you might be needing. Thank you to our hosts and it made our journey afterwards to French's Point so much easier. We knew we would be busy running a wedding, so starting off with a de-stressing start was so brilliant!!!

Wedding weekend with friends
We rented three cottages on the same quiet circle for a nearby wedding. Jeff’s place was large, open and bright, and had everything you needed for a nice weekend away with family and friends. The cottage is right one the coast, with a shared walkway down to the shoreline, where you can swim or look for seashells. There’s lots of games, which would be nice for kids or a family, and the kitchen was well appointed. His house cleaner was very helpful and available for any issues. It was a nice weekend and we’d love to come back again soon!

Exceeded Expectations!
We loved our stay at the Belfast Beach House. This place is in a great location, just outside of Downtown Belfast. It has an excellent ocean view and we took walks on the
beach every morning. You can tell that a lot of thought and care went into this property.
The kitchen is very well stocked and the place is extremely comfortable and clean. The living area was cozy and we felt at home immediately. In addition, the owners Jeff and Abbey were easy to work with and checked with us in case we had any questions or needed anything. We will definitely, stay here again on our next trip to Maine!

Wonderful Experience
Belfast is a friendly, artsy town, and this house is just a short drive away. It’s in a little complex with other beach houses right on the beach. We rarely saw the neighbors but the ones we did run into were very nice. The house was perfect for our family of 4 (including 2 very young kids) and dog. The beach was perfect for toddlers and had a big sandbar at low tide. Everything in the house was very clean and organized, and there were nice, new appliances. A picnic table outside and a little collection of kids’ toys and books were a big plus for us! The owners were laid back and friendly. They were quick to respond if we needed them and otherwise gave us total privacy. I would definitely return!

Clean, comfortable and well-appointed
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the BBH. Jeff was accommodating as to check in and out times; easy to deal with for payments and checked in regularly to see if we needed anything. We didn't because the owners had thought of anything you might need before you thought of it and made sure it was there. Ample linens included as well as a very well-stocked kitchen. Also appreciated not having to buy our own cleaning supplies to keep the place nice during our 13 day stay. Beautiful view to wake up to each morning and wonderful sunsets. Belfast is a very nice town to explore and Acadia not too far away to exercise our hiking muscles. Climbed Beehive and Cadillac Mts and went to Isle au Haut. We'll be back, hopefully. fabulous Maine vacation!
wonderful, charming and fantastic beach house! Jeff and Abby Gordon are kind, generous and responsive hosts - with everything you'd possibly need in the beautiful kitchen and spacious cottage. My two children, loving dog and I enjoyed a marvelous time there - right near the ocean and also a lovely meadow for frisbee and soccer. We highly recommend this place and these hosts - and look forward to spending even more time there!

Wonderful stay!
This is the second time we've stayed at this property, and already booked a third next year. The view is stunning, and we love Belfast and the surrounding area. The house has everything we need, and the owners make things very easy with regard to clarity, responsiveness, and professionalism.

Clean, neat, welcoming and very relaxing
We recently spent the week at the BBH and it had all of the amenities of home and then some. We enjoyed the household comforts and beautiful surrounding scenery the location offers right on the Bay, The home is centrally located in Belfast and was a short trip into town for dining, shopping and a fitness center .25 miles down the road. The home was quite, clean and very nicely decorated. We in the end didn't need to bring that much with us as everything from a top of the line coffee maker, appliances and kitchenware was fully available. It's a great place to go and get away from it all in comfort and we look forward to a future, return stay. Steve & Tracy Herzog
