I think the atmosphere is very homely, absolutely beautiful view off our room. Pool area is great.
We asked for a room closer to the main enterence and I was told we were moved. When we arrived we were given a room that was quite far from the door. I know there are other doors, but my husband is handicapped and he has a prosthesis so he has trouble walking.. I had to carry everything in by myself so that was a little challenging.

The view/ lawn is amazing. Loved that the coffee machine in lobby had espresso and hot chocolate. Front desk people were exceptional. Pool and hot tub were great.

There was a mold spot on my curtain. But that’s the only bad thing I have to say!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and well stocked and our view from our balcony was beautiful
It would have been nice if the hotel offered breakfast. They have a nice area for sitting and eating so it would have been nice if breakfast was also available.

The lack of continental breakfast for the price of the room os a big deal. The coffee offered eas old and terrible. The chairs in the room were uncomfortable. All in all we will stay somewhere else.

Facing the ocean, Pool, Big back yard, Value, Nice staff, room refrigerator, free coffee, I liked that the room did not get serviced every day since that is usually unnecessary - but we could still get supplies if needed using the order card.
Elevator smelled musty, like the carpet was cleaned but didn't fully dry out. Cornhole bags were left out in the rain and they were ruined (the corn swells up) and smelled rancid. I would have liked to know that the walk down to the water would be very wet and sloppy due to most likely rain that occurred before we arrived.

It was exactly as I expected based on the photos in the listing. I like no surprises in a hotel booking!
The facility and staff themselves did nothing wrong, although I did assume there would be some kind of backup power generator, being a hotel of this size on the maine coast; it wasn't even what I would consider stormy, but the power went out -- at 3 in the morning, no less, and both my children woke up and stayed up; nobody was able to sleep, the room was hot and stuffy and dark as a tomb. The only way to get cool air would be to open the door to the balcony, as the window did not open, and with two young children that seemed exceptionally unwise.

everything. beautifully landscaped. wonderful view. pool and jacuzzi were great. the 24 coffee machine made everything from espresso to hot chocolate.
nothing to complain about. great outdoor seating options for eating/relaxing.

Given its location, ie distant from restaurants, it would have been helpful to be offered more info about the location of local eateries. In fact, a breakfast service- at additional cost obviously, would have been welcome.

View was amazing we could not have asked for better. we stayed in room 211. The only thing we noticed was in the shower the floor does creak (like loose boards) when you step into the shower.

Sauna seamed a little worn out but was functional. Could use some TLC.

No hot water in the shower for more than 16 hours, old mattress with a large dent in the middle.

I loved the facilities. The pool, hot tub, and the incredible front desk staff. Loved the view of the sunrise and the quiet rooms.
