The location was superb and on the same road as some of the best restaurants in Chania, Old Town. A very cosy and charming hotel, with lovely, clean rooms. The staff were exceptional and went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Breakfast was also amazing - a very generous portion and it was delicious!

Location of the hotel is right at the center of old town, quiet location. Room is very well designed with a Jacuzzi bath, fridge and a small kitchen. staff is very friendly and a great breakfast.

Everything was simply perfect. The room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Spotlessly clean. Fantastic location. Minutes walk from bars, restaurants and shopping. Staff / owners very pleasant and friendly. Breakfast was excellent and very generous. 5☆☆☆☆☆

Perfect location in the heart of Chania's Old Town! The room was great - we had everything we needed, including a bottle of water during each day. The breakfast was really good and the staff very friendly and helpful. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here and would strongly recommend it!

Loved the room, lobby and the outdoor spaces. Second floor patio with beautiful flowers was a great setting for an evening chat with some Norwegian guests. Courtyard for breakfast framed by centuries old walls and covered in flowers started our day nice.

Very comfortable! From linens, staff to ambiance. Navigating cobblestone walkways by foot to open up to the Venetian harbor was a pleasant adventure. We loved the breakfast in the floral courtyard.

the staff was exceptionally considerate and welcoming - made sure to answer all our dietary needs on each breakfast, even when coming late to breakfast and having a lot of special requests - all were answered with a smile.

honestly - was looking for something with a little different interior design🤦‍♀️ and the bathrooms get soaking wet after a shower. The place has different rooms, and the most simple once have an 80’s design that I didn’t like as much. could definitely just take a pricier room and fully enjoy the place.

Super cuter and tucked away into the old city center. it is a picturesque place to take in Chania and feel like you are living at home away from home. the staff and host made our stay a very special one that we will not forget!

Breakfast was delicious, so generous and served outside in the beautiful setting of the square. The staff we so welcoming and helpful for the duration of our stay. Location for exploring Chania was ideal. Would definitely recommend.

Location was delightful, the character of the restored building added historical value, the quietness and overall service. A perfect start to the day requires a fresh breakfast and the Ionas was exceptional in this respect, thanks to all the staff who made our stay memorable. Recommended to family for next season!

There was nothing we didn't like.

Breakfast was excellent! Bed was king sized. AC was powerful. Staff was super friendly and helpful

Beach and surrounding area was disappointing Loud music in bar and on beach too loud. More suited to a nightclub (played all the time!)

Great breakfast included omlette, greek yoghurt, coffee fresh fruit and orange juice and basket of local breads. There is a lovely open terrace on the second floor which guests can use for free with nice plants.

Location is in a completely pedestrianised area with nearest car parking a 15 minute walk away . WE had to drag our luggage over the cobble stones during the 15 minute treck. Our double room was two single beds joined together with a really uncomfortable matress. Pillows were fine.

Bed, breakfast, staff, location...all amazing!

If I had to pick anything, it would be that the vebt cover on the aircon was a bit loose so rattled. Also slightly strange bathroom setup.
