We loved our stay! Watching the kayaks go by was very entertaining! We stayed to celebrate a graduation from Southern Miss and I don’t think we could have found a better place! We are ready to go back!

This home and property is Beautiful and peaceful. My 83 yr old father and i booked it as it is near family we flew in to visit. WOW! Granddaughter loved the loft but I Would have stayed in that king sized bed forever! It was like sleeping on a cloud of comfort for my tired body! The house had everything we wanted or needed and we were able to relax and celebrate a few birthday on the deck and fireside. Be prepared for the stairs... other than that ENJOY!

Beautiful cabin, tucked in the woods but not far from modern conveniences. Being on the Okatoma was incredible… the sound of rushing waters and watching kayakers and canoers tumble on the last set of falls proved entertaining (we also experienced those same falls and had a tumble of our own). Visited with family, had a crawfish boil, and just enjoyed the getaway. The owners were incredibly responsive to every question we had… I want to give a special shoutout to them for opening their home to us and our family.

The property was a perfect place to get away, clear our heads and just enjoy the family. The waterfall rushing in the background was so relaxing. Trails around the property were great for exploring the outdoors. The fire pit was perfect for our nightly fires and smores. The cabin itself was wonderful with rustic decor but very clean and comfortable for a group. Everyone enjoyed the trip and we all hope to go back again one day soon.

The cabin was very nice. The waterfall was running it was beautiful and so amazing to hear. The only complaint I have was on one of the beds, there was a Thank You note from the cleaning crew asking if we wanted ,we could leave them a tip. If I am not mistaken, we paid for the cleaning fee as we rented this cabin. I need to say the cleaning crew could have done a better job in these arears: Under the sofas are very dirty. The floors were not very clean and especially the laundry room floor . There were spider webs along the windows sills, and light fixtures. Our point is, this is such a nice cabin and surroundings, to have the cleaning crew ask for a tip when cleary their job was not done completely is a concern. Not sure if the owner of this beautiful property is aware.

The location is perfect. Tucked away in the woods by the river. Beautiful woods and trails to hike down and a super clean spring fed creek that’s only ankle deep to keep the young ones busy. We caught several catfish and had a blast everyday. Great spot to get away from a busy world. Cabin is nice with great views. Host was very responsive and nice. Highly recommend and plan on going back to relax again.

Not only was the cabin perfect, but the outdoor surroundings were beautiful!!! We loved it!

My friend and I brought our children to WCU for a Honor Band Performance and found this cabin "by chance" on VRBO. This property is nothing short of perfect if you love being in the outdoors, quiet, and relaxing! There is a great fire pit for night time and plenty of "exploring" you can do on the property during the day time. The rooms are spacious and a large loft upstairs so plenty of room for everyone! Sitting on the porch, listening to the water, and drinking a cup of coffee is where we (adults) spent most of our time and since we've been home, we are already looking at possible dates to go back! We checked in late on our first night and our kids were having an issue with the WiFi. I emailed the owners and they immediately responded and fixed the issue (user issue on my kids side - ha!) Five starts is not a high enough rating for this cabin!!!

Great place with a beautiful view! Easy access to hiking through the woods and to the water. Nice floor plan, well equipped kitchen, nicely furnished, great wifi & TV options. We'll definitely stay there again.

We enjoyed a delightful Thanksgiving at the river front cabin - with a waterfall right off the porch. Family, friends and pets. When we couldn’t eat anymore we hiked thru the woods, played games and watched football. Lovely weekend.

We loved the location and view however the ladder access to the upstairs was not conducive to 70+ yr olds.

Peace, quiet and relaxation.

Property was clean, and well stocked. We were in town for our sons wedding and this was a beautiful and peaceful place for us to stay with all the stress that comes with a wedding! We had family from all over meet us here and we were able to spend quality time and make memories as a family!

Really enjoyed the stay. Great time on the river and in the cabin. Saw some deer when we walked the trails. Cabin was well furnished with everything we needed for a great experience. Good times!

Second stay didn’t disappoint, will be back for a third visit next year!

Master bed was horrible, Gate was acting up going out. Outside upkeep was not as it could have been. Wasps and hornets nest everywhere. Even had someone get stung ended up in emergency room. This is 3rs time staying with family there and we love location but prob will not be back

This is the absolute best cabin we have ever stayed in. We have been twice now and have decided this will definitely be a yearly trip for us. Thank you to the owners for sharing this slice of heaven.

We had a great time celebrating my sons 15th birthday. The property was beautiful and had everything we needed to have a great stay!

We all had a wonderful time exploring and swimming in the river! The kids enjoyed every second with no devices in hand lol! Will definitely stay again.

This is our 3rd year coming to the cabin and the only complaint we had is NEXT YEAR WE NEED TO STAY 1 WEEK, everyone hates to leave and it is never long enough.

Great convenient yet secluded location right on the creek with a waterfall right behind it. Cleanest VRBO we’ve stayed in. Nathan, the owner, was very responsive to our questions and to any concerns we had. Awesome fishing spots and people-watching of folks going over the waterfall in rented kayaks. We’re definitely coming back during warmer weather to brave the falls ourselves! Great rates, too. Be sure to try Red’s Dine-in in Seminary, Maters & Taters and Shady Acres Village.

This is one of the best cabins we have ever stayed in before. The waterfall on the river is such a relaxing sound to hear while having your morning coffee. The kids enjoyed the beautiful clear streams. We will definitely be back.

This was out second time staying here. It was the perfect place to celebrate our grandson’s 4th birthday. The house has plenty of space outdoors to gather even if it is raining. The deck is a great place to enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktail. We always enjoy watching the kayakers and people in canoes go over the falls. Inside is very comfortable with well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. We will definitely be back.

We were hoping to get away from the cold and saw so many great reviews this was an easy choice. Best decision ever. The waterfall sounds are so pleasant. And at night the stars are so bright. Everything about the cabin adds to the experience. Beds are comfortable, nice appliances, comfortable seating outside and inside. And an added bonus, the temps were in the 70s and 80s. Didn’t want to leave. Spent a day in Biloxi, one in Hattiesburg and another in Laurel. So nice to have this beautiful location to come back to!

Beautiful location, amenities can't be beat. Host is so responsive and easy to talk to. Folks in the town of Seminary are friendly and kind. Great local places eat....but also have all you need to cook a great meal right there at the cabin while listening to the water flowing by.....just perfect. Can't wait to come back.
