Stayed for a weekend with a group of friends to celebrate my birthday and this was the perfect home base. The house has everything you could need and then some and the house was 10/10.

We had a great time and the house was a huge part of that experience. The communication was clear, thorough and comprehensive! They gave us information about surrounding activities and offered to help book them for us. The house was amazing!

Everything was as advertised except the couch was terrible and covered w towels. We were told a new couch had been ordered so I'm sure that has been updated by now. The TV in room near kitchen was in the closet and not watchable. The pool also was not as warm as it could have been. All ez fixes and the place is really nice with great views. It rained most of the trip but was still better than Christmas vacation in freezing weather.

"Orchid House" was Exceptional in every way!
We booked this vacation 11 months before our arrival (end of May/June 2024). Before I mention the house itself, I want to praise the staff for their stellar communications with us. We had lots of questions which were answered promptly and thoroughly. Every stage from booking to planning to anticipating to arriving to staying at Orchid House was met with the most personalized interest and assistance. From our experience, this is rare and very special.
The ocean views were extraordinary! The accommodations were well-designed and thoughtfully appointed. Bedrooms were beautiful and comfortable. Everything we could possibly need was already there. Every aspect from house, grounds and pool were beautifully clean and in good order.
The pool was fabulous and enjoyed many hours a day by all. It was deep enough for swimming and water games. For little kids, there was a small shallow pool.
There was a huge supply of pool & beach equipment including boogie boards, snorkels, fins, life jackets, floaties, chairs, umbrellas and a wagon.
Our group of 10 enjoyed every part of this dream vacation and we would be love to return in the future.

The house was spacious for the 7 of us with great views. Property manager was very helpful. Lots of beach things available to use. Some minor things in the pool area (gate, lights, etc) need some TLC

This house was perfect for my kids and grandkids! Plenty of room for everyone! Pool area was great and the house had so much outdoor gear! Property manager was great and very knowledge! Would definitely come back to the Orchid house!

We had a wonderful vacation in Kauai. We left the Klondike conditions in Utah and was able to totally relax in this beautiful home in Poipu Beach.
The Orchid House was very roomy, clean and comfortable. Everyone had their own space, their own bathroom. We had 4 couple and a baby. The family/dining area was so nice to gather in. We had prepared several meals there and the kitchen is completely stocked with everything you would need to cook a 5 course meal. The views are absolutely breathtaking. We enjoyed the pool. The beds were very comfortable.
Evan, the property manager was top notch, and actually met us there upon arrival. He was was very helpful and answered every question we had.
I would highly recommend the Orchid House to anyone who will be planning a trip to Kauai with a family. We hope to return sooner than later!

The location was great to see the sunrise from the master deck every day. It was a very spacious house with a great layout of rooms. Our only concerns were the living room electric shades did not work, so it was too bright to enjoy the living room in the mornings, also the living room's new couches had very hard cushions.
This is an exceptional family gathering home at a great location.

Our family had an amazing time with our family of 9 here for a summer vacation. It was great to spend afternoons relaxing in the pool after morning trips to the beach. And we all loved having our own bathrooms and large closets in each room. Tons of beach equipment and pool toys to use - we brought our own snorkeling gear but ended up using theirs. The sunrise views from the main floor are unreal!

I posted a more detailed review in Google so please refer there as well, but posting real quick here that our stay at the Kauai orchid house was amazing for our June 2023 trip. The house was beautiful and well kept! We vacationed there with our family of 4 and my brother's family of 5. The 4 main bedroom suites with their own full bathrooms was so convenient. The house was located in a very quiet and safe neighborhood. The pool and the views from all the lanais were amazing! The kitchen was well equipped with all that you need to make a meal at home if you wish. The house's location was either a walking distance or quick drive to restaurants, beaches, and shopping. The garage was full of items you would need for beach or pool time such as boogie boards, floats, beach chairs, cooler, and beach umbrellas. Ning was excellent with her correspondences and hospitality.
The home manger, Evan Price was also quick to return texts during our stay and gave us suggestions for hidden gems in Kauai. Ning's husband, Erdogan was also very welcoming on our arrival. It truly was a 5 start experience. Mahalo! I would highly recommend this rental vacation home to any family. We felt very safe at this home and that feeling is priceless. Hope to return one day!

What a beautiful home in a prime location! The host was great at communicating with us and providing everything that was needed. The house is perfectly designed for 8-10 people with complete bedrooms and bathrooms. A fabulous pool is on site along with plenty of chairs and umbrellas to take on a beach day. We couldn’t have been more pleased, and would highly recommend to anyone that is considering this home. When we come back to the island, if there is a small group of us, we will absolutely look to come back here. Thank you!

This was a dream house for our family of Grandparents, adult kids, and young grandchildren. The pool was a tremendous hit with littles 2.5 - 6 years. The kitchen was a marvel for folks who like to cook. Pots, pans, knives of fine quality and great appliances. All rooms with private bathrooms and ample towels.
The view was exceptional of Poipu point and Shipwreck Beach on a quiet street close (car) to groceries, beaches and shopping.
The hosting was courteous and seamless, very thoughtful and welcoming.
We'd return in a New York minute. Can't think of a single negative. Not cheep but incredible value!

The Orchid house was amazing and was perfect for our group of 3 couples. We all enjoyed the pool / hot tub daily and the house had a ton of room for us to spread out, but still had a lot of social time together in the evenings. Evan, the local host, was a wealth of knowledge and really answered every question with thoughtful texts of everything we needed to know prior to arrival. I can't recommend this property enough! 5+⭐️

We had six adults in our group -- my husband and I, and our daughters and their spouses. The house was very comfortable and the views lovely. The kitchen was perhaps the best equipped I have experienced in any rental property. We especially enjoyed the heated pool in the evening. We were in Kauai to celebrate my birthday and Ning made it really special. The fresh floral arrangements, gifts of fresh produce and above all, a beautiful Hawaiian haku (flower crown) that Ning made for me to celebrate my birthday made a most memorable trip. We had a few minor glitches with the house but the house manager, Evan, was amazing in his promptness to fix the situation. A great trip -- wish we were there now.

Outstanding vacation spot and a great place to stay!!! Nine adults had plenty of room and space. The house is as impressive as the pictures and is conveniently located to get to all the sites and attractions Kauai has to offer. Ning sent us all the information we needed about the house, area and places to go - truly exceptional communications. Evan was great to work directly with and went above and beyond to support our stay. Cannot say enough about the total package provided. THe Orichid House is the place to stay.

Overall, our stay was wonderful and I would recommend Orchid House to others. The home is well eqipped with everything we wanted or needed; anything from pool toys to kitchen tools was available for our use. The location was great and the neighborhood is quiet and well maintained. The view from the house to the ocean was spectacular.

We had an amazing stay! The home was well equipped with beach gear (towels, boogie boards, chairs, umbrellas, coolers) and kitchen needs (plenty of pots, pans, dishes, cooking utensils). It was awesome to have four master bedrooms with their own bathrooms and the pool was great to relax in. The view of the sunrise and sunset made it even better. The communication with the staff was excellent and always friendly. Can’t recommend this house enough. We would definitely stay here again!

Property is great, beautiful well lit pool, the entire pool area was great. Rooms were all good size and not too close to each other so we all felt some privacy, it's a big house. We were 7 adults with plenty of space. The views both day and night we spectacular. We saw the ocean all day, the waves hitting the beach and stars at night. The owner and caretaker were outstanding and did everything possible to make our stay feel like home. I really can't say enough about how plea sent and efficient they were. I rarely take the time to do a review but I had to this time. We will return to this house next time for sure!!

Our family of five thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Orchid House. Ning was a fabulous host and Evan a very helpful guide. The location is fantastic, with easy access to all the island provides. The house itself is perfect, with sunrise views, an impeccable pool, and everything a family needs to spend days on the beach on on the hiking trails. A+++ across the board.

The Orchid House exceeded our expectations! Our family of nine, three generations, enjoyed the house, the views, the pool and hot tub. The house is thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. Our stay at Orchid House exceeded our expectations. The views of the ocean were amazing. We were able to sleep with the doors open and hear the waves, and open our eyes to the sunrise over the water. The property had everything we could possibly need, and our hosts were thoughtful, helpful, and very available to answer any questions from before we booked and all the way through the trip. The location is prime, the pool a great size and temperature for fun with the family, and rooms are large and very comfortable.

Orchid House was the perfect home base for our family vacation. We traveled with our adult children and two grand children...we had 9 people total. The kitchen has just about every appliance you would need and plenty of pots and pans. We cooked dinner several nights and enjoyed eating on the front porch/deck. The home is beautiful and large enough to accommodate our group, allowing for privacy too. Having 2 washers and 2 dryers was wonderful. We loved the pool too! The views from the house...from just about every room...are so pretty. It's just a short walk to the beach where we saw lots of resting turtles and monk seals...and lots more swimming turtles. We drove to the beach because it was easier with the little girls and all the beach gear. Orchid House has tons of beach chairs, and even a wagon and sand toys. Ning was a fabulous host! She answered any questions and was so nice. We were glad to meet her during our stay! We had a nice visit and she introduced me to Kahea...who made some beautiful shell jewelry for me. Orchid House is close to many other beaches and not really even too far from the north side of the island either. It was just perfect for us. We were all sad to leave, even my 3 year old grand daughter. We made some wonderful memories at Orchid House and we hope to visit again. Thank you Ning for sharing your beautiful home with us!
