Beautiful view over kandy and the mountains. This place is absolutely fantastic for spending a couple of days. Very clean, with a/c. We sat for hours on the balcony, drinking tea and reading books

Безумно крутое место, советую остановиться в Канди именно здесь. Невероятный вид с балкона, очень чисто и уютно, приветливые хозяева. Очень вкусный завтрак, хозяин отеля приготовил его очень быстро, даже без предварительно заказа. У дома парковка и прекрасный сад!!

Świetna lokalizacja z przepięknym widokiem, dużym tarasem, idealne miejsce na wypady do centrum Kandy i okolic. Bezpiecznie, cicho, spokojnie, blisko natury a zarazem blisko miasta. Czystość jest na wysokim poziomie, śniadania przepyszne! Viper - właściciel zamawiał nam posiłki i polecał dobre i sprawdzone restauracje. Od pierwszych chwil spędzonych tutaj zaprzyjaźniliśmy się z nim. Opisał nam okolice, zaplanował wycieczki, opowiedział o historii Kandy i Sri lanki. Był jak nasz dobry znajomy i świetny przewodnik. Gorąco pozdrawiamy i mamy nadzieję, że uda nam się jeszcze tu wrócić!

we had an amazing stay. only two nights but we wished to stay more. extremelly clean, amazing views and incredible terrace. The owner is very kind and makes you feel like home. The place has a very good breakfast that you can eat watching a breathtaking views. for us best stay un Sri Lanka by far. hope to be Back soon 10 over 10. oriol & karolina

We had a great time at the Tenthola. We felt very comfortable. The room and also the terrace - with a really great view - have been super clean. The host offered us a welcome - drink and the breakfast was great! The host also had many recommendations for what to do in and around Kandy. We can highly recommend this accomodation!

I recommend this hotel 100% and i would definitely go back!! The room, the facilities and the view are stunning, all is brand new, very clean and very comfortable The owner is so sweet and caring, that makes your experience unforgettable I loved it!!!

The breakfast was exceptionally great. Instead of getting typical English toast breakkie, I was served with Sri Lanka traditional breakfast. Since I'm taking a long hour train to Nuwaraya Eliya, Sir Host ensured me with stomach filling food, which is really kind and considerate.

The road to the house is not in good condition and the house is not close to the centre - but the view makes up for that.

Viper (the Host) is absolutely amazing guy. I enjoyed dinner talks with him very much. learned a lot about Lanka history and geo-strategy. ok, now about the room - it is good! the hotel is more european-style with nice classic design and really fascinating terrace with the view. I recommend staying here.

We were greeted by Mr. Viper and he's such a great host. The property was clean and the view was breathtaking. It's a home away from home. Perfect location. Close proximity to the town and major supermarkets. Special Thank you to Uncle Viper for making us feel at home.

Our stop at The Tenthola proved to be wonderful. We stayed in a spacious room with a comfortable bed and a cozy bathroom. We drank tea and read on the veranda with a splendid view of the Knuckle Mountain range, which at times had a bit of a haze. We sat on the veranda and enjoyed our breakfast and dinners of delightful Sri Lankan cuisine, Our host, Mr. Viper, shared his knowledge of Sri Lankan history, answered any questions we had about architectural sites and about shopping. The Tenthola is ideal home away from home.

We were stunned by the view fron the terrace, although we saw pictures of it, it does not compare to the reality! It is also very clean, spotless! The owners, Mr. Gunaratne and his wife, together with their personnel, are perfect hosts! We felt like coming home every evening, we felt pampered, with the excellent local food Mrs. Gunaratne cooks (really really amazing!). Mr. Gunaratne, a former member of the national rugby team, is a person with large knowledge about the history, geography and religion of the island and he was a perfect adviser for us in discovering this amazing country. We really enjoyed every moment spent at Tenthola!

It was nothing I complain about, really, it's such an excellent choice!
