Poca vida alrededor del hotel

I stayed here because I came to Paraguay simply to hike the country's high point. I found it to be a super good hotel. I paid $130 for a two night stay in what is a 5* Rochester chain hotel. Ingrid is the manager there, is really helpful and speaks great English. They are very keen to provide a driver facility to take clients down to hike Cerro Tres Kandu in the future. As for the hotel it is super clean, with good rooms (huge beds!) and it has a nice ambience. The best thing is that all the staff are very amenable, professional and nice to speak to. I did not eat there so can't say anything about the food. It is also in a good location with nearby bars, shops and eating places.

Breakfast could be better Room is a little dark - needs more light

The only 5 stars is the staff and the food at the rooftop.

The kitchen in the room did not even have water or napkins, despite what their "minibar" list detailed, it was empty, I had to go out and buy everything. The shower did not have good water pressure, the bathroom door was stuck in the middle, and the banister rails up to the room was broken.
