no English speaking staff who seemed rushed and inattentive. I was patient and understanding, knowing it was a busy holiday period, however I have come to expect better service from the rosewood group. price was highly inflated to take advantage of the holiday season too. room was large but spatial configuration made it seem smaller than it actually was.

It was our second visit to the hotel in two years, both staying for one week. The rooms are great, with stylish design, good views and well attended to. The rooftop pool is amazing, and is heated during the winter months, which is a plus and compensates for the lack of an indoor pool. The garden pool is also great, with many different sizes.

Compared to our visit one year ago, the hotel has taken a commercial twist, with various pop up stores located in the middle of the hotel for which there was no need. Key areas of the hotel are branded. The clientele is far from sophisticated - expect young wannabe influencers taking pictures all day long and not so refined older customers. A long way from the finesse enjoyed at Hong Kong Rosewood. During half of the stay the hallway leading to our room was full of clothes on the floor and half a dozen people taking pictures for a clothes catalogue all day long. Service at breakfast was quite disappointing - most days had to ask at least three times for the same thing, and a 15-20 minute for coffee was normal. The food options at the hotel are limited. The beach, which doesn’t belong to the hotel, was not too well kept. Overall, this Rosewood is not representative of the Rosewood brand. If what you’re after is Hong Kong Rosewood quality, you’re better off at the Edition or Capella.

staff does not care about the customers. all amenities were closed bags in the room are trash HDMI in the room is not working properly... and even afte the upgrade of the room to one having a swimming pool it was the same... their answer was that I could put my computer next to the bathtub ... pathetic.

Beautiful decoration. Excellent view of infinite pool and sea. Quiet environment. One of the Must-stay hotel in Sanya.

The roof bar closes early. Nothing entertainment for resort hotel.

It’s a great hotel. Awesome facilities. The room is fantastic, with a wonderful view. The infinite pool is amazing. The staff is very nice. Really enjoyed staying there.

Even though the room, other facilities and infinite pool were very clean, the pool at the first floor needed cleaning. Besides that, the vegetarian food options are very limited. Only one of the restaurants had meatless dishes, but the restaurant is closed on Monday and Tuesday. Which is half of our stay. That was a big problem. The chef on the other restaurant helped us by cooking some simple fried rice with some veggies just so we would have something to eat. Also, the food and drink service at the pool only starts at 2pm and has limited options of food. The beach doesn’t have any structure, like chairs or someone to get you anything to drink. Despite all that, it’s a great hotel. If they improved these things, it would be flawless.
