The view of the ocean can't be beat! The apartment was comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. Easy access to Sosua and Cabareta.

Fabio and Enrico were excellent hosts from the start. The booking process was quick and professional. They arranged transportation for us from the airport, and Enrico met us upon arrival at the condo. Located on the waterfront at Playa Laguna, within a gated community, the amenities were excellent! A short five minute walk to the East is 5 star Al Porto- Elvis and Juan were our favorite waiters, with excellent attention to detail. We had a wonderful stay! The location is quiet and secure and the beach Playa Laguna made for nice evening walks. Taxis are available, although we opted to walk out to the main highway and take the Public Autobus (35Pesos per person). A 15 minute drive west is Cabarate and Kite Beach, and to the east is Sosua and Puerto Plata. The condo is exactly as pictured, and has a nice high end feel. There is bottled water available for purchase from the very friendly security guards. Nearby is Playero Supermercado and Superpolla- 2 modern, clean supermarkets that met our needs well. In Puerto Plata, La Sirena is more WalMart style, but we found it a long drive. OK motors rents vehicles is located nearby (you can inquire at Ocean Village). The condo had internet and cable, but unless you speak perfect Spanish, you may not find much to watch. We brought a laptop and HDMI cable and were able to watch Netflix in the evenings. We went as 2 couples, which made for a very comfortable and affordable vacation for 1 month. With the 3rd bedroom, we also had the option of inviting friends and family to visit. In conclusion, we had a wonderful time, loved the Dominican people, really enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting the DR again soon! Thank you Enrico and Fabio! For the foodies- Gordito's fish tacos and Chimichangas are awesome (located in Cabarete and Sosua) and Britanicca's fish and chips were fantastic! (located in Sosua) On Playa Sosua, Russ & Elvys @El Toro Negro took excellent care of us and have filtered, safe water and excellent Daily Deals. As a note to the owner of the condo- A washer and dryer and toaster would be a nice addition.

Just get a minus because of some damage interiors and missing cooking staff. For 6 pax it haves not enough dishes.

I recommend the condos and would rent them again. Staff keeps the pool and facilities in great condition.

We enjoyed the condo very much! I regret I could not stay longer. It was a perfect distance from the hustle and bustle of Sosua and Cabarete, but not too far for a day at the beach or a night on the town. You could actually get away for a restful night without the motorbikes and blaring of the music typical of other beachside condos. The beach at this location is not much to speak of, but the ocean views are wonderful. The grounds are very well kept and the pool is great for an evening dip.The commute to Sosua or Cabarete is a mere 4-5 miles in opposite directions on a fairly safe highway, but you will need a car or taxi. Those are the beaches you would want to go to. The condo was very clean, airy and comfortable. Fabio and Enrico were prompt to return emails and calls. The proximity to Sosua and Cabarete allowed us to enjoy great restaurants at both Sosua and Cabarete but we also enjoyed breakfast and light meals at the well equipped kitchen. I'll be back to this condo and I would most definitely recommend it.
