We loved this little gem. Highlights for us were walking proximity to all the major tourist sights, with the ability to come back and relax afterwards. The shower was amazing! The neighborhood feels like you’re escaping Rome but it has this cool after hours- people watching vibe. The property had everything you’d need for a stay. Our host was one of the best, easy to talk with and helpful. Do yourself a favour and book this VRBO!!

Very clean and orderly. All colors matched and was a pleasure to come home to. Steps away from restaurants, cafes, gelato shops and bakery.
20-30 minite walk to attactions and Trevi Fountain.

This is the perfect place for a couple traveling to Rome who want charm, convenience, and great location in walking distance of everything! Stefano was a fantastic host from booking to checkout. He communicated quickly and clearly, helped arrange a private car from the airport, and met us at the door to welcome us. He provided a map as well as restaurant suggestions in the area.
The space is just enough for two people and fit our needs well. Modern bathroom, great closet space with hangers, and thoughtful touches such as guidebooks, robes, and bedside lighting. Great a/c, too! Loved the fun splashes of color.
Fun fact - the little alley/street is so charming, that people would take selfies and peek down the street when we were coming and going. Centrally located in gorgeous Trastevere - put this on your list! We plan to recommend to friends and family. Grazie, Stefano!

Great location in a nice part of the historic village. Great access to everything but quiet. Very cute place. Small, but pretty and functional. Host was very easy to communicate with and provided good information on local spots to eat.
A little mold in the shower, but otherwise clean and tidy. Also provided freshly washed robes which was a nice touch! I would recommend for couple looking to spend time in Trastavere or a quiet refuge within walking distance to the key historic sites in Rome.

This is the perfect Rome apartment, on a picture-perfect little street. Outfitted with everything you could need for your visit to Rome. I loved staying here as our home away from home during our four-night visit. Great host, very responsive and helpful with restaurant recommendations. He even arranged transport to the airport for us. You’ll love this location in the middle of all the fun restaurants and gelato shops, but on a quiet and picturesque small street. This is exactly what I was looking for in Rome and we would definitely come back to this spot. Also, we only used it once but the AC was fantastic. I know that can be an issue in some apartments, but not here!

Stefano was a great host who met us and showed us the apartment and gave us a list of authentic Roman style restaurants in the neighborhood. Enjoyed our stay!

Our stay was delightful. Perfect and quiet location. Walking distance of all sites. Stefano was attentive and responsive to any question we had regarding the apartment or tourist kind of information needed. We would love to stay again. Truly a gem.

Stefano was a great host. The apartment had everything we needed. The neighborhood was vibrant yet the location was very quiet for a good nights rest after exploring all day. Thank you for helping make our trip so memorable.

My husband and I loved staying in Trastevere! The location was perfect for us. It was quiet in the morning to have a cappuccino from a local bar. And easy to find a delicious restaurant at night. The suite had everything we needed and it was very easy to communicate with the host. It made staying in Rome feel like home.

My sister and I found everything we needed there! The street it is on is beautiful ! Restaurants in the area were very good.
The bed was so comfortable to us! We would stay here again!

To say this was a perfect location does absolutely no justice to this property. This was our first trip to Rome and we could not have been happier. Like any large European metropolitan we did A LOT of walking. Then we were able to come back to our place, rest, and walk around the corner and have an absolutely incredible amount of choices for eating / drinking.
Stefano was fantastic! He met us at the apartment, showed us around and checked on us through the week. Though we did not feel we needed anything. We had a 10 day stay and fresh towels were provided throughout. He also secured transit from and back to the airport which was a great help.
Yes, bathroom and bedroom were small by US standards, but you'd never be able to find this space with this access (door on the street) in any hotel. Bed might have been a scooch smaller than a US king but we were incredibly comfortable in it.
I recommend this place 1000% wholeheartedly.

Great location for our first visit to Rome. The Vatican and Colosseum are both within walking distance. Many good restaurants in the neighborhood. Would stay here again.

Our checkin process was smooth and the location of the property is great. The apartment is cute as well. However it could have been cleaner. Also the towels and bed linens were worn out and need to be replaced. Mattress is old and stiff and needs to be replaced. There were no sheets on the bed. There was very little hot water in the shower (2-3 minutes at most). A decent stay but it could have been better. Also Rome is amazing.

The property was exactly as shown on the listing. It was super clean, comfortable, and the location was amazing.
The neighborhood is perfect and close to everything in Rome. We were able to walk to the Pantheon and Colosseum in 20 minutes. And the best gelato place is within feet from the front door, a wine bar within two minutes and lots of churches to sightsee all in the neighborhood.
Stefan was quick to respond and easy to communicate with. He made the check-in process easy. If you have a chance, we highly recommend and will be staying there again.

Stefano's apartment was absolutely perfect for the two of us. We had everything we needed plus more for a very comfortable stay. You are just steps from the best restaurants in Rome, all at reasonable prices. Whatever you want is literally steps from your front door: gelato. cappuccino, street food, fine dining, the best pasta and pizza and baked goods, Foodies Rejoice! Stefano goes out of his way to make sure you are comfortable, and he personally met us to give us a brief orientation to the apartment and the area. He is available to communicate with before and during your stay, You can WALK every where from this charming apartment. The area
(TRASTAVERE) comes alive at night with locals and tourists seeking the best food and most congenial neighborhood. You will not regret staying here. Don't even think of staying elsewhere.

In the heart of Trastevere but very quiet on a dead end lane. Unit is fairly compact but had everything we needed including a comfortable king size bed and a small but very good shower with lots of hot water. The kitchenette was a bit cramped but did all we needed as we just had breakfast in the unit. Cooking a meal would have been a bit awkward. Great food available close by, we particularly enjoyed Ai Bozzi just around the corner

This was our favorite part of the trip, it was perfect! The area was gorgeous, during the day it was slow paced with students getting history lessons in the piazza and locals going to work. But at night the whole area comes alive! All the restaurants start setting out their tables for dinner service, the street venders are organizing their booths. Then the tourists, and locals alike start making their way in for a fun night out for dinner and drinks. There is no shortage of choices on restaurants or bars. I suggest to try a new place every night, you won't regret it. Once the night is over and your back in the flat. The ally is quite and clean,no noise from the main strip makes its way in to the house. In the morning I suggest taking a walk, smelling all the restaurants baking the bread and prepping for the day, until you end up at a café called Bar Latteria and get a coffee and a pastry. You won't regret it!
Thank you Stefano, for opening you home to us! It was clean, well appointed, safe and cozy. We enjoyed every second of our stay in Trastevere. It couldn't have been more perfect! We will be back! So until next time,Arrivederci!

We really enjoyed our stay because it was right in the heart of the food center of Rome that’s grown more popular in recent years but still less tourists and quieter evenings. The place was not on a main walkway which was great for having a peaceful rest at night. The apartment was clean and neat and had all necessary amenities along with a few nice features for staying in and cooking your own meal.

We enjoyed this location very much, the apartment was perfect and right in the middle of such a fabulous neighborhood of Testaverde Rome. We were the envy of all who saw us coming and going down our picturesque street.. we would definitely recommend staying here.

Stefano was a wonderful host—very responsive to any inquiries and always helpful in every way. The apartment was lovely-private yet located in a very convenient part of the city. We walked to the Coliseum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and Vatican. There were many, many shops and fantastic restaurants within easy walking distance. We couldn’t have chosen a better location. When there were no taxis available for our final trip to the train station, Stefano scheduled a private transport for us. Grazie Stefano—we hope to see you again soon! Ti auguro il meglio!

The apartment is on the most beautiful area of Travestere and located near fabulous restaurants. Walkable to many of the historic sites with taxi stand nearby if needed. Apartment is stunning with the most amazing shower and beautifully decorated. Stefano was a terrific host with recommendations, assistance with airport transportation and easy to communicate with. We looked forward to coming back to Travestere each night and trying new restaurants. Highly recommend this apartment and location. You will not be disappointed.

We totally enjoyed our stay here! Stefano is such a wonderful host. He met us at the apartment upon our arrival and he was more than happy to answer all the questions we had about the area. Stefano offered recommendations for several restaurants nearby and has maps of the area readily available.
The apartment is super clean, cozy, quiet and comfortable. All the amenities you'll need.
We felt very safe at all times, and we ventured out a lot! There is much to do within walking distance. Many many 4++ star restaurants, fun night life, shops shops and more shops! Within a short walking distance you will find taxis or buses. We walked just about everywhere. Vatican, Colosseum, Trevi Fountain etc, all in walking distance.
Also Stefano is always available for help or questions. We would not hesitate to visit this property and area again. Trevester is a vibrant area and we really appreciated all it has to offer.

This apartment is perfect for a couple visiting Rome and Trastevere. Just steps away from Piazza Santa Maria AND just steps away from the bus stop to explore Rome. The apartment is located at the end of a secluded Trastevere street so slightly removed from all the activity. Very thoughtfully decorated with a comfortable queen bed, efficient AC, a convenient kitchenette bar and a stylish bathroom with all the amenities. We loved the location.

The apartment is right in the heart of Trastevere. Perfect for anyone looking to experience the vibrance of Rome, all while being a short walk away from the city centre.
The host, Stefano, was very easy to communicate with and helpful. The apartment was clean and had all the necessities.
Overall, it was a great experience!

Trastevere was crowded and busy but the apartment was located at the end of a short quiet lane. Stefano met us at check-in and showed us the apartment and was very nice. He was very responsive during our stay and provided recommendations for places to eat. The apartment is small and cute and had everything we needed.

Couldn’t ask for a better location and really enjoyed this small gem. Owner was very accommodating and let us leave our luggage for part of the day we checked out. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this fabulous apartment. Check in was a breeze and Stefano was super helpful with things to do and places to eat. We had everything we needed in this adorable apartment. It sits on a very photographed street that so charming we didn’t want to leave. Trastevere is a cool hip area of Rome that has a lot to offer. Excellent eateries, bars and souvenir shops are steps away however we never heard noise overflow into our apartment. Highly recommend staying here and when visiting Rome again this will be my first go to. Thank you Stefano for an absolutely exceptional stay!

Beautiful, cozy apartment in one of the most picturesque streets in Trastevere. Away from the crowds, quiet and peaceful but all the restaurants, cafes and bars right on the doorstep. Comfortable bed and lounge area. Great power shower. Well appointed bathroom. Everything you need for a perfectly romantic stay in Roma. We will return!

What a beautiful apartment and wonderful host!! Stefano was so helpful and responsive! The apartment was in the most beautiful area and the most beautiful street in Trastevere! We had everything we needed and the pictures were a perfect depiction of the apartment! I cannot say enough amazing things about this experience. We would definitely stay here again!

This apartment is amazing on several levels: the location is perfect -- in the middle of Trastevere, within walking distant or nearly every major sight in Rome, at the end of the most photographed cul-de-sac in this one of the oldest and best preserved neighborhoods in Rome, it is a rare find. The apartment itself is roomy, well-furnished, and kept meticulously clean; and, it's totally affordable! We have stayed there three times for two-weeks at a time: 2014, 2017, and again, 2023. Anyone contemplating a trip to Rome should not overlook this gem.

Stephano was an amazing host to us! My wife had a medical emergency, and Stephano was EXTREMELY helpful in helping us find a hospital and transportation during our ordeal. We are extremely grateful to him and his staff! In addition, the property was outstanding. It had everything we needed, and was very comfortable. We couldn’t have asked for a better neighborhood that was close to the heart of Rome, and also its own neighborhood with so much character (Trestavere). The alley his property is located in is quintessential Italy through and through, with flower pots and beautiful colors all around! We are so thankful to have found this beautiful property, and for Stephano providing pick-up and transportation from the airport. Thank you so much for your hospitality, and a fun, relaxing stay! We would highly recommended this property to anyone considering travels to Rome!

Stefano was the best host! Our luggage got lost in transport, and while we were out enjoying our first day in Rome Stefano met the courier from Lufthansa who brought our suitcases; when we arrived back at the apartment, we were delighted to find them there!
The apartment is well-located; it is easy to walk to all the attractions of Rome, and Trastevere is very charming with lots of great eateries: Trattoria da Augusto was our favorite.
The WiFi is super reliable; the bed is comfy; it's very quiet at night, yet just a block away from the best gelato in Trastevere: Fiordiluna. My husband and I would definitely recommend La Torre Suite!
