This was a great property near town. It was clean and very comfortable. Had everything you would need in the kitchen. I dont like putting anything negitive on a review but, My only issue was the secondary beds were not comfortable at all. Master bed was ok. Otherwise we loved the place and would definitely rent again.

Property is clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect for our activities while in staying in Watkins Glen. Adequate parking for two vehicles, although the driveway wasn't the easiest to navigate. Neighborhood is quiet, but the people (and pups) we encountered were friendly. There were a few challenges during our stay. The flap needs to be replaced on the toilet. We had to manually push it down when flushing to get the tank to refill. The home owner said our issues were due to low water pressure. That may be partly true but clearly the flap in the tank needs adjusting/replacing. In addition, the water did not drain properly during my showers. I ended up standing in 2 inches of water in the tub each time, and I don't take exceptionally long showers. I tried to adjust the drain, but it seemed to be as open. Even with the bathroom issues, I would consider staying at the property again if we make another trip to Watkins Glen.

Loved the house, very homey and had the special little touches of people who care. Very clean and close to downtown . Also very quiet! Will definitely be back! Thank you!!

Property was very clean and comfortable great location for race. One suggestion is to upgrade the mattress in main bedroom.

Rooms were large, clean, and comfortable. Close in to downtown and a short drive to the track. Will stay here again next time we are in the area.

My family spent a long weekend here enjoying Watkins Glen State Park and Seneca Lake. The property is located in a quiet residential neighborhood and was minutes from all the activities we had planned. The unit was clean, comfortable and can't be beat for the price. It appeared that the A/C and bathroom had been updated since the pictures on VRBO. The beds were adequately comfortable. Overall we had a great stay!

Overall, we loved staying at this location. Fabulous for us as we ran the Wineglass 1/2 marathon. With new beds, this place would be 5 stars. Order some mattresses from online and make this place perfect! Loved the ceiling fans throughout, and the safety information. We will be back.

Very nice and comfortable place for the two of us after every day at the track! Bed was iffy. but okay. Sort of felt like I was sleeping on a diaper or depends. soft and noisy pillow top! No air in the second bedroom or sun room, but I'd stay there again! Well equipt and very peacefu;!

Clean, pleasant carriage house (over separate garage) property. Nice location in a residential area on the outskirts of Watkins Glen. Convenient place to stay to visit Finger Lakes attractions. Owner was friendly and available if needed. Property manager did forget to give us the access code and check-in instructions, so I had to message, text, and finally call to get them. Would stay again.

The bed in the master bedroom was incredibly uncomfortable. I read reviews of other renters complaining but the owners added a mattress topper since then, which did not help with the comfort of the bed/mattress. Think about putting a mattress topper over a pile of rocks and that is how it felt. I had a very hard time sleeping during my stay due to this problem and that ruined my vacation. My son reported that he thought the trundle bed was comfortable but it squeaked so loud that it would wake both of us up at night. The upgraded AC unit is NOT central air as listed. It is a newer wall unit which works great but only cools the kitchen, dining room and living room (which are all open to one another). The bedrooms have NO air. To keep them at a comfortable temperature, you have to keep all the doors open and use fans. When we arrived at the property, we had no code to enter the property. As other renters have reported, there was no email sent with the information. Fortunately, I was able to call the property manager and she gave me the code. She was polite, friendly, and apologetic. The overall apartment was VERY clean and neat. It suited our needs as it had all the necessities from home. I would not stay here again due to the uncomfortable beds and the lack of air in the bedrooms.

The house felt larger than the listed square feet. The location was accessible to our day trips and the owners lived next door which helped when we needed something. The only negative is the beds which were commented on before. Even with the pillow tops the mattresses need replacing. The queen bed was sinking (you can see from the side). My adult son slept on the pull out couch and was inverted. After 2 nights he took the mattress from the high riser and slept on the floor. The pillows also need to be replaced! They were too soft and flat for our liking!

The house was clean and off of the second bedroom was the nice surprise of a sunroom! Bring your own soap though.

My husband and I wanted a spot with good hiking and scenic views and lots of wineries. This was the place!!! Our host was gracious, the house was perfect, great beds and comfy couches in the living room. Plenty of kitchen supplies. Watkins Glen is a great place to stay with good access to two of the larger Finger Lakes

Nice place to stay. The house was clean and the kitchen well equipped. The location made getting to anywhere easy.

The house was conveniently located to destinations in the Finger Lakes like Seneca Falls, wine routes, parks & waterfalls, Ithaca and only a mile from Watkins Glen. The house was very clean, well equipped and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay here.

The location was great. The beds need to be updated, they are not very comfortable. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay.

Second time staying at this house and it now has an upgraded AC unit. Everything was great, just like the first time!

Clean, comfortable,,complete cottage with full kitchen, full bath, one master bath with a full size bed, one bedroom with a trundle bed with two twin size beds and a living room with a full size fold out couch bed. Sun room on the back and deck on the side. Interior is somewhat dated, but clean and serviceable. Owners use the garage underneath the cottage, so you cannot park in front of the garage doors. The only thing I would recommend to the owner is they replace all of the mattresses as they are quite old and uncomfortable.

This place was awesome! The scenery was beautiful! The home was supplied with lots of extras: kitchen well stocked, paper products, Clorox wipes, Lysol spray, etc. Close to grocery store, Walmart, and Dollar General. Downtown was within a 15 minute walk. We enjoyed the many falls, gorges, state parks within 25 miles of the home. Perfect place to celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary!

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful Watkins Glen getaway! Everything was super easy, management was wonderful, very nice and responsive to questions. The house was beautiful and located in a very quiet, peaceful area with a view of the lake. We could not have enjoyed a better stay at beautiful Watkins Glen and would absolutely come back!

Loved the apartment and it was exactly like the pictures. WiFi was great and kitchen/grill were well equipped. Prior to arriving the host was unresponsive via VRBO messaging (we requested early check-in and she said to contact day before, then didn’t respond). It didn’t seem like the apartment was cleaned when we arrived, and the host said she would come herself to clean and also reschedule the cleaners. From what we saw the cleaners never came, and we were refunded the cleaning fee. The apartment was walking distance from Watkins Glen and close to everything we needed/wanted to do.
