Overall everything was great and it was a cool house. We couldn't get the grill to work outside and the upstairs bunk room was hot even with the AC blasting. I would still recommend this place. I wish there was access to the water from the house, but there is water access close.

Although a little dated and quirky, this place was very accommodating and fun for our large family to stay. Most beds were very comfortable, and we had such a wonderful time in the game room. There are several community spaces throughout the house to hang out and visit in. It's a great space! Sarah was awesome to work with. She checked in via text to see how we were doing/if we needed anything. Loved it and would definitely stay again. Thank you!!

The house is big is enough to hold about 24 family members. We love it. Our kids love to hang out together at game room. Quite and peaceful place!

The place was a lot bigger than expected. We had a big family to accommodate and there was plenty of room and lots to do. There’s a marina close by and a sandy beach 25 minutes away. Grocery store was only 15 minutes away. Communication with the manger was amazing, we had issues with the Wi-Fi and got help instantly. All in all the family had an amazing time, would recommend for anyone with a large group.

Our church group booked this home for a retreat this past weekend. It was a fantastic space for our group. Plenty of room and plenty of activities. Communication was great and check-in and check-out were a breeze. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time at the cabin. Though it is an older home, it seems to have been maintained well. Then mancave was an ideal hangout for everyone. It doesn't have lake access, but you can hike down the road to some access. We met some of the neighbors and had a fun time getting to know all about the Hodag. It's an urban legend. The great thing about this home is there were many different spaces for everyone to do various activities. The internet is a country internet, so not meant to support multiple devices streaming. Other than that it was a wonderful week!

This is a great place for large families or groups. Plenty of nicely remodeled bathrooms and comfortable beds. The gameroom in the shop was a great place to hang out in the evenings.

Overall we enjoyed the stay. 8 adults and nine children ages 5-19. We used the kitchen extensively to save from eating out so much, and it worked fine.
The primary bedroom we stayed in was nice, large and a bathroom nearby. The problem was two of the four adult couples had poor bed accommodations. One couple had to use bunk beds, and the other couple had to use an inflatable bed they brought. There were two “fold out couches” but they were very uncomfortable .
The other beds were for kids over in the “play gym”. None of the adults would have wanted to stay over there.
The play house honestly was not very clean in the two bedrooms over there. The four window AC unit’s filters were FULL of dirt; one kept shutting off til we took the filters off.
Quite a few bugs over there, along with broken pool cues and broken ping pong paddles. “Hayley” was very responsive to our concerns and tried.
Lastly, the gas barbecue grill was a total dirty mess! One daughter in law spent a solid hour cleaning it for it to be usable (we had planned hamburgers for one meal). It also had two broken burners as well. A concern for safety for sure.
A broken chair in the the main house but think that was about it.
We were thankful for the size of the place for our large family, family.

Great house with plenty of room for our kids and grandkids. Pottsboro is my home town where I grew up and I'm so glad I was able to share the lake life with my family. Hilary was an amazing host! Will definitely be back.

Overall Not Bad
The house of a thousand light switches! Not gonna lie we had a lot of fun trying to figure out which switch went to which light. House was clean and ready. One bedroom isn’t really a bedroom as it’s a pass through to a bathroom. This is important if you need or expect privacy from a 6 bedroom listing. Staff was great at communicating and home was functional for our purposes. Families will love this place but for our purposes losing the privacy of bedroom 6 was a deal breaker for next year.

Friends weekend
We had a great time at this property and it was a great meeting point for our friends who have since grown apart and moved away from each other. It was easy to find and the property management team made it very easy for us to enjoy our stay.

Not a luxury stay!!
Air conditioning was not large enough in several of areas to cool premise as it had several add on additions that only had window units . Then as we were cooking out both nights the sprinkler came on right beside the grill and it was sewer water coming out which was most unpleasant. I wasn't informed that the sewer when full came on automatically to empty overflow. With 20 people taking showers and using bathrooms, it came on pretty often. Certainly made us uncomfortable to even get in the yard and cooking outdoors unpleasant with bad odors. Our outdoor games we planned were never done because we did not want to play in the grass. I would not consider this location a luxury stay by any means. Manager was easy to reach and pleasant to deal with but I would not recommend this location to anyone.

This is our second time to rent this property. Lots of sleeping space, Great HVAC, and the party barn in basketball court excellent for groups. Thank you Joe!

perfect for fishing getaway
The house was a great getaway for our group of 12 fishermen. There are more than enough beds for everyone, plenty of bathrooms (with tons of towels) and lots of room for parking (even boats). There are several living areas to hang out in and several dining areas as well as covered porches. Our group spent most of our time around the fire pit while we were at the house. When it rained we hung out in the shop playing corn hole and poker. The house was clean and well suited for large groups. We will definitely stay here again.

Peaceful location to get away
The whole process was simple. The communication with the owner was great. The property had a lot to do- basketball, ping pong, pool table and fire pit. Our group enjoyed our time getting away and being close to the lake.

We were very satisfied with our stay here. The property was very large and was able to accommodate all of us. We made some great memories here, and won't forget our weekend at the lake. Joe was very responsive and answered all our questions. We would definitely recommend staying here!

We had a family reunion and it was great to have plenty of room and lots to do. Two family members are seniors with some mobility issues and the multiple levels were a concern but they managed very well by staying in the bedrooms in the Man Cave.

Great Place to hang out with Friends and Family !!!!!
We booked this house for our annual Fantasy Football Draft meeting. Place is awesome for entertainment. House was nicely organized for a place to hang out and a separate place to sleep. The man cave was awesome place for us to hang out do our draft and play games, pool, pingpong, and poker. The beds were comfortable. The HVACs kept the house nice and cold. To add to this great stay the marina was only 2 miles away! Walking distance. The lake was only few mins away walking distance. We continue to come back for our fantasy football drafts.
