We’ve been coming to EI for the last 7 years and of the 4 homes we have stayed in (all ocean front) this is hands down the best home. Adina has thoughtfully curated an entire BINDER full of relevant and recent information on everything you could want or need. Additionally her pay it forward practice ensured we had almost everything we needed for our stay. I ran out to buy conditioner before I realized it was already there! Please enjoy that bottle of conditioner it now lives under the sink in the upstairs bathroom! Anyway, our kids kept saying how this beach house felt so different from the others in that it felt truly like a home. So many nice and thoughtful little touches to list but they really didn’t miss a thing here at Isle Escape! Thank you for yet another amazing vacation in Emerald Isle. We can’t wait to return.

This home was great. The location was perfect! Walking distance to shops and dinner! Also rented bikes and took several rides! Private walk out to the beach. Property management has thought of everything!! If you forgot something chances are they have it available for you. Would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful week at Isle Escape! The location was perfect, the house has fantastic views of the Ocean and a nice breeze made the porches ideal to enjoy in the mornings and evenings. We loved eating dinner overlooking the ocean from the picnic table on the back porch and it was so nice to be just steps from the beach. The house was immaculate when we checked in and had everything we needed for an ideal ending to our Summer. We would absolutely return!

The only suggestion I have would be to add one more detailed photo of the beach access. We had seniors in our party and the walkway didn’t have an easy path onto the beach. It may be difficult for those with limited mobility. Just a suggestion. Overall, a great time and we will be back!

Adina and her husband have been amazing hosts. This is the third year we have stayed at this rental for Christmas and it is decorated nicely and very clean. They are great with communication. If you are looking for a spacious house, with direct beach access it does not get any better then here.

Charming cottage just steps away from the ocean! We loved Isle Escape. The host was very helpful with excellent communication. Convenient to shopping, restaurants, and bike/running path. Clean, quiet and peaceful spot. Especially loved the outdoor shower and what a nice bonus having an extra refrigerator/freezer. Isle Escape is decorated beautifully. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful location
My family and I stayed here for the week. What a beautiful beach, 150-200 steps to the ocean. My kids loved the outdoor shower, it was great to get all the sand off. Sunset slush right down the beach was amazing ice cream/sorbet. The only complaint was the water. We are spoiled to live in the country with clean well water. The fridge filter and under sink one haven’t been changed in a long while. Either bring a brita or bottled water and ice to have good tasting water.

This beautiful cottage beach home was perfect for four best friends to meet up for a girls trip! We truly loved the home, location, beach and the porch was amazing! Would love to come back again.

Almost there
Isle Escape is a great family, oceanside home. Nestled behind the dunes, you have a pretty big yard for perhaps a game of volleyball or croquet. (Watch those Fire Ants)
Views from the beach side of the house are lovely. Covered deck with Adirondack chairs and a picnic table are ready for a family fresh out of the surf. Inside, flat-screen TVs abound, so you won’t miss out on an important movie or sporting event.
Common spaces are ample and the bedrooms and kid nooks appreciated.
The kitchen has everything you’d ever need to make it seem like home. Even a blender! The owner’s pay-it-forward sentiment insured plenty of paper towels, TP and Old Bay.
Most everything was spotless, plenty of towels, blankets etc.
My only rub was the omission of any sort of privacy curtains in the kitchen and dining room. All the other windows in the house have some sort of window treatment, except the place where most people congregate! If, like our family, you are not OK with this, be sure to bring cover-ups, cause you are sort of in a fishbowl from local neighbors and the roadside.

Perfect Location
We really enjoyed our first visit to Emerald Isle! Isle Escape was perfect for us. The ability to walk to restaurants, the fishing pier and activities was a big plus for us. The views of the ocean from the decks were just amazing. The house had everything we needed for our stay. We would definitely stay again given the chance.

This is our second year spending christmas at the Ocean Front Cottage. We enjoy it more and more everytime we stay. The house is always clean and decorated nicely for the holidays. Adina is very responsive and makes sure everything is perfect for our annual stay.

Great anniversary choice
My wife and I wanted a simple fishing trip for our anniversary this year, and this property was perfect for that. Being very close to Bouge's Inlet Pier, it afforded us the opportunity to either fish from the surf (being directly accessible from the property) or from the nearby pier. What I enjoyed most was the well stocked kitchenware that was available to prepare the copious amount of fish we caught. Being an avid cook, it was nice to find every tool I needed for mealtime preparation. It almost felt like my own kitchen. Beyond that, everything about the property was well organized, in good operating condition, and easy to use. It immediately felt like home.

Hidden gem in Emrald Isle
This property is at a great location, right on the beach but in a quiet spot. The property is spot clean, well stocked and well maintained. It was a nice touch that the hostess prepared a small welcoming gift for our stay. We will definitely come back. Highly recommended!

Great location
The house is very nice. The kitchen is tiny so only one person can be in there cooking at a time. The living room is cozy and it has enough space for a family of 5 but that's all. The beds are comfortable and the rental was clean. We really loved the front porch with the nice breeze every morning for breakfast and every evening after dinner to listen to the waves. We love the location and we hope to be back soon.

Adorable home in great location
This home is beautifully kept and in a great location! We enjoyed every morning and night on the beach with few people and loved sitting on the deck listening to the sound of the ocean. The nice little yard was a perfect spot to throw the ball around and set up a little badminton net while we grilled. I highly recommend this place!

The owner is very detailed oriented and the home is comfortable, cozy and clean. However one detail the owner missed was not informing us that beach nourishment was going on during our stay. As a healthcare provider who had not gotten a break since the pandemic, i expected to enjoy the sounds of the waves, the beach and to rest. However there was a ship there digging sand from the ocean floor to repair the dunes so the noise of the humming from the ship overpowered the sounds of the ocean. If the ship was there intermittently, it would have been tolerable, but the ship persisted most of the time and even during the night which affected my ability to stay asleep. There was also a large pipe along the beach so we could not walk to the pier since the signs on the pipe stated to stay away from the area altogether.I asked if we could receive a discount for our stay due to the inconvenience or could they even offer a discount for a return visit when beach nourishment was not going on. However, this was declined. Had there been a disclaimer on the booking that beach nourishment was happening and that there would be a persistent humming vibration noise from the ship which droned out the ocean waves and continued during the night...etc as explained above, we would have gladly moved our dates to a later time. Since the owner was so detailed on other questions which were answered, i can only guess perhaps she didn't know this was happening. So my advise to anyone who wants to book an ocean front property is to please call the city to find out what projects are going on beforehand. Our time was also impacted by cold, rainy weather but this is something you can't control so we will want to come back when its warmer to see what the area has to offer. Otherwise the house is comfortable and clean. I just wished the owner could have honored a discount. I believe i am not the only guest out there that would have wanted to know beforehand that peristent repair was happening so an informed decision could be made to stay or move dates. We hope to come back when the project is over for a redo.

Restful and Relaxing
We loved our visit to Isle Escape. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch or loft overlooking the beach. This beach was perfect for long walks watching dolphins, pelicans and plovers. The home is well taken care of by Adina and Todd.

Pleasant stay
Great to be on the beach and see waves from the porch. The House was clean and had everything we needed. We brought our bikes and it was pleasant to be so close to Local establishments with a bike path off the main road. Owners were responsive and we’d happily have a repeat visit.

Great property. It is front row but the high dunes abstract some of your view from house. It has its own walk way to beach with a seating area at top providing a wonderful view. My family would love to go back.
