Location great, parking great, accommodation was spacious, clean and nicely decorated. High chair and travel cot available. Clean and modern. Good quality washing machine and dishwasher.

Something to hang clothes on to dry and a gate for the stairs down to the basement for the baby would have really finished this off for our longer family stay - but they are two small things in an otherwise excellent property.

Loved the apartment and had everything you needed and more! Clean and really modern and cosy. Great location with shops and bars in walking distance. Great host with up to date information and replies to any questions in minutes. Loved our stay and would recommend to anyone looking for a stay in York. Didn't want to leave. Thankyou

Lovely open plan living. Lots of pots and pans are available to cover cooking needs. Came with a stash of toilet roll, soap, and shower gel, which was a very nice touch. As well as some washing up liquid, sponge, tea towel, dishwasher tablets, and extra bin bags.

Steep narrow stair case down to the bedrooms. Information book says you can adjust underfloor heating. However, this isn't the case (which I understand and appreciated the halogen heater).

The information booklet implied that the heating of the apartment could be controlled using the thermostat on the wall. This was not possible and the thermostat was locked and set at 17 degrees in the large living dining space. Unfortunately, this mean that the living space was cold in the evenings. There was a wood burner but a sign asking us not to use it. This is a little patronising. We also had no hot water on one morning despite the information booklet stating that the hot water was on permanently and would only take 30 minutes to heat up. The apartment is great but the information in the booklet misleading and this should be changed.

The house is very comfortable, clean and modern.

We just had a problem with the heating upstairs and nobody could fix it, so the host come to the house and gave us some small heaters to help. It worked fine.

The location, facilities, decor and set up was brilliant.

The heating system was tricky to work out but ok when you followed the instructions provided in the information pack but on one night I was very cold and couldn't locate the control for thr heating in the upstairs rooms. I ended up sitting in my coat to get warm.

bed in master bedroom could have been better quality. Slats appeared broken underneath the bed and the mattress was soft. No clear facility for dealing with rubbish.

One of the cleaner apartments I have stayed in which was a nice change.

There was a funny smell coming from the kitchen sink every time I ran the water. I raised this with the owner who I happened to bump into outside. Awkwardly, he quickly and without hesitation asked my husband if he could smell it also as if my smelling capabilities weren’t good enough. The shower downstairs had really poor ventilation/fan which also left an odd smell post-shower.

The apartment was lovely, spacious and modern. It was also spotlessly clean. Great facilities throughout and great location with the benefit of the parking permit. We couldn't get the washing machine to work but on reporting this it was dealt with in less than 24hrs. Great stay all round!!!

There was nothing not to like about the apartment itself....the only thing we struggled with was knowing where to put our rubbish at the end of the stay. There were a couple of bins in the courtyard but we didn't know which one was ours.

There was loads of space and it was very well equipped

There was no mention of the step narrow staircase leading down to the bedrooms and someone with limited mobility would struggle as I did with bad ankles. The sofas are very low and hard to get up from.

fantastic open plan living which was very comfortable for a family of four!
