A very nice small room close to the airport. The room is enough for 2 people for 1 or 2 nights. There is a small bathroom in the room. Shared kitchen is also avaible. If you are with a car, there ia no place to park in front of the house, but in 200m there is a petrol station where you can leave your car overnight for 4.000 colones.

My fourth time staying here. Nothing fancy. Good value for money. Owners/managers are very responsive.

It is exactly what it seems to be. There is nothing to not like. (If I were being picky, I would love washcloths.)

It's noisy outside (good audibility)

we needed a place to stay close to the airport and this fitted the bill. super clean and the host was very nice. places to eat nearby.

The quality of fixtures. Everything - including mattress, sheets, bed cover, kitchen appliances; Freshly repainted floors, walls, trim, front door ... Proximity of vibrant shopping area within 5 blocks up hill. Such a warm and joyful welcome from owner Oscar who is clearly dedicated to providing the best of facilities in each of the five small but very well equipped and cared-for independent rooms and kitchen area still even 5 years since inception!

The traffic noise! I'm sure Oscar would reduce it if he could. These well- equipped, independent rooms are un fortumately situated on a very busy road in downtown Alujella. Heavy duty traffic started at about 3:30 in the morning and continued from then on. So, enjoy the quality of the facilities but bring earplugs! For one night the convenience does does outweigh the noise - at least it did fof me.

Very nice! the host picked me up from the airport for $10. I will be staying here again for my last night in Costa Rica.

Oscar the host was amazing, so kind, welcoming and friendly!

We ended up arriving earlier then expected and the room wasn't ready, but the hosts were very gracious and the room was ready soon thereafter. The room was simple, with a bed and private bathroom, and very clean. The host drove us to the airport for a small fee. They were also very helpful in directing us to a nearby clinic to get a COVID test.

Perfect for a quick stop over.

We had a flight come in late at night and this worked perfectly - we were given a key code to come straight in when we arrived. The host was also so welcoming and helpful explaining everything we needed.

The road was pretty loud so it was difficult to sleep

Close to airport. In the day you can walk to Airport. Beds were good.

Some truble with owner. We chose this accommodation, because it should have airport transport. Even though we said to owner we will arrive late ( 23:30) , when we arrived he wrote us it is to late to pick up us. So we have to buy sim cards, find a taxi, paid 10 dollars to get there ( normal price is twice less). Apartments is just only good to sleep there. It is ugly super noise street, Rooms does not have windows, It is long halway with three or four rooms, you have to be quiet there. Next day we paid to owner with cash and he was really nice ( he speaks only spanish though), but the other things was not. Some cockroach visited us in bathroom:)

the owner was super helpful and got us to the airport in the middle of the night for a reasonable price. also the room was super quiet and comfortable. we didn’t stay in San Jose long but I felt like this was a very local neighborhood with lots of food and shopping at night.

nothing! If you don’t speak Spanish/don’t have a SIM card getting inside can be confusing because you need a door code since you don’t have a key yet. but the neighbor was really helpful so it wasn’t a problem at all.

The place is very clean, close to the airport, with a kitchen, so we could prepare the coffee and breakfas there. There are towels and soaps. The host is amazing, very kind and pleasent. We could leave our backpacks there after check out time. It was a pleasure to be there and we would like to chose the same place next time!

Very close to airport, has fridge and microwave and own bathroom. Good value for money, nice clean room and comfy bed. We got a shuttle from the airport they were punctual and kind. We got the code for the door before in message, very easy.

Little bit noisy at night.

The host is tip notch, picked us up from the airport and took us to the spot. Showed us the ins and outs and had two cold beer in the fridge! What more could anyone ask for?!
