Close to my family for visiting.

This place is a cheap DIY nightmare. The key box is 5 inches from the ground, have to get on your knees to get the keys and there was broken glass all around it. The entrance was dirty. You have to get the suitcases up two flights on steep carpeted staircases. The blinds were dirty and dusty, some were broken and did not work. Closets and cupboards are stuffed with misc stuff and supplies for maintenance. The extra comforter was stained and had hair on it. Long black hair was all over the place. There is mold all around the tub area and the vent is filthy. Half the grout is missing from the tiles. The fridge smelled like mold and old food and the washing machine was moldy. The cups had coffee and tea stains. We only stayed for 3 days and spend time with family, but still the little time we spent in that place was uncomfortable. When we left it was raining, so we had to kneel on the water puddles and broken glass to leave the keys. The whole place was just unacceptable. We sent an email to the host co after we left, to remedy this unacceptable situation. After many emails and waiting for a good 2 weeks, we were told nothing they can do, since it was after we stayed there. Waste of our time.

We are shocked how you can actually sell a place like this.. The kitchen counters: Next to the old wear and tear of the place, there were still sticky and stained areas in the sink and on the stove. (don’t get me started with the oven that hasn’t been cleaned for ages) no kitchen towels left, actually left an empty roll on the surface? Who does that? Bathroom: Somebody just tried to wipe the surfaces but rather left it more dirty then intended since e.g. all the surfaces are having cleaning marks all over the place. No spare toilet paper (half a role left…. You must be joking) The boiler wasn’t turned on so we didn’t have hot water when we tried to shower, had to call the houst number first to get this sorted. But the bathroom towel heater was on … when it was 25 degrees outside and the place was extremely hot already. Fridge: Had old used items in it from vegan mayo to some other types of sauces and pickles, was not appealing at all... Difficult to open windows in the living room as they are from medieval times (1 layer) and you can hear all the noise from the street. Also not children appropriate as with the windows to the street, kids can fall out (same like on the top bedroom. The place is overall extremely crowded with stuff. Would never book it again and cant recommend it. Afterwards you get chased by some agent for other sets of keys that were never provided, sounded like a scam!
