The first thing that will make us come back to Kalais residence is the awesome sandy beach accessible by walking distance. Perfect place for swimming, sunbathing & having relaxing walks. Second thing is our host Dimitri who ensured during our whole stay to provide us the best experience possible. He was very helpful, accomodating & full of small attentions! We've never met such an involved host among all of our trips. Finally, the room is charming & very clean. The terrace is definitely part of the main assets. There is no way you may not enjoy your stay here!

We loved our accommodation, it was perfect - clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. It’s decorated well and was nice and airy with great sea views. One minute walk to a quieter part of Plaka beach and about 10mins+ walk to cafes and bars nearby. Little shop just around the corner for basics was handy, as well as bus stop next to it to go to Naxos town. The host was fantastic and made us feel very welcome. It’s a family business and they would go above and beyond for their guests.

Quiet location, clean, nice large room with a nice terrace and nice view. The owner Dimitri was very friendly and went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. I would recommend this place especially if you want to get away from the crowds. Beach is really close.

Most helpful hosts you can imagine! They go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. We were picked up from the port and even stopped for groceries on the way… my friend was even taken to get a Covid test for travel and they held my bag for me after I checked out. The room was beautiful and very clean, we felt calm and relaxed instantly. Room is true to photos and directly opposite a beautiful beach and walking distance to many good restaurants.

This was an exceptional stay. Location is fantastic, right on the golden sand of Plaka with views to Paros and the sunset. Charming room, brand new, spotlessly clean and elegant. Very comfortable bed. You can also lounge, or even sleep, on the terrace under the stars and watch the moon set into the sea. We had the kindest host, who was available and eager to please us all the time. He brought us a melon from the family garden, wine and local products! Great Naxian hospitality and a very relaxing time. Highly recommended!

The studio is very clean and modern furnished with a perfect location and nice beach only 40 meters away.

I made a reservation on base of photos advertised at Booking.com where 85% of photos is about first floor studio. But I found out that the owner has two different studios in the same house - one (and older - maybe y2019) on the first floor with a nice semi covered terrace (I think all reviews are for that one) and another one (totaly new in 2021) in the ground floor. The owner explaind that I made a reservation of the ground floor studio. That one also has a terrace but no shadow at all. In the ground floor you can't have windows open in the night but in first floor you can... especialy when having in mind that around the house is a construction area (unfinished garden area). Otherwise the studio itself is very clean and modern furnished with a perfect location and nice beach only 40 meters away. So I recomend the place (first floor much better than ground floor) but underline to be carreful in which studio (you think) you make a reservation and which one you really get.

My girlfriend and I were island hopping this summer. Through our visits among the islands including the famed Mykonos, we have never come across such phenomenal and caring hospitality. Ran bu Dimitri and his father we were cared and looked after from the minuet we stepped off the ferry. Dimitri collected us to the port and took us to his beautiful hotel. The room was fabulous with sea views, impeccable lighting and phenomenal comfort. I was truly amazed and what a wonderful stay. When my girlfriend and I needed Covid tests, Dimitri personally took us into Chora to help us. We had the most amazing time! The restaurants nearby have unbeatable food and we spent our days at the amazing Tortuga beach club. I have already recommended Kalais to all of my family and friends to stay at. If you choose Kalais you will honestly have the most amazing experience. Thank you so much for having us! With any luck my girlfriend and I will be back next summer!

The property is new, modern and very clean. It’s a beautiful place in a beautiful location. Very peaceful. There is a bus stop nearby if you do want to go into town. Otherwise it’s perfect for days on the beach in Plaka or walks along the beach toward Agia Anna, Prokopios or toward Mikri Vigla. The property owner is very helpful indeed and will make you feel very welcome.

Location Comfortable bright flat With all the mod cons.. A/C and WiFi excellent. The balconies are facing the sea. 2 minutes walk to the beach And restaurants beach side are nearby The owner is super and very kind Dropping us back to the port. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Loved everything. The bed is super cosy, lovely lighting inside and outside. Amazing terrace with great views. Dimitris and his father were so nice and helpful, meeting us from our ferry and helping us make other plans when our ferry was delayed.

The only thing we didn’t like was going home😂
