Instalación nueva y limpia, un poco pequeña la habitación pero bien para pasar la noche. Hizo frío durante la noche y había calefacción y mantas disponibles.
Estacionamiento a metros en plaza abierta, restaurante y cafetería para desayunar muy cerca.
Buena ubicación si deseas visitar el castillo, puedes ir a pie o tomar taxi o tuc tuc desde la puerta
Nadie nos recibió, sólo nos enviaron clave para entrar

The facility is very close to the touristic locations of interest with the condition that you are well prepared for walking steep slopes uphill as we did. Towels and linens were clean. The remote access to the keys (in the pass-number protected small safe-box next to the outside door) was excellent especially for the arrivals quite late in the midnight as in our case.
The mold smell usually experienced in such facilities was a bit intense.

La habitación, mejor de lo esperado: muy amplia, luminosa, limpia, acogedora…
Se duerme muy bien… La cama y el colchón, estupendos…
La atención prestada: antes, durante y después… Excelente en todo momento. Muy pendientes de todo y respondiendo rápida y eficazmente…
Incluso, habiendo olvidado un chaquetón, se han ofrecido a enviármelo muy amablemente…
El desayuno, concertado con un local cercano, ‘Pura Nata’… Completo, muy bien de precio y riquísimos los pasteles de nata, variados… El dueño, también muy amable.
La tranquilidad del lugar, pues las ventanas aíslan muy bien de todo el tráfico exterior…
La facilidad para estacionar el vehículo, a unos metros de la entrada, y gratis…
La gran proximidad de las paradas de bus, tiendas, restaurantes…
Sinceramente, ha sido una experiencia muy mi gratificante.
Volveré, porque no he podido visitar todo, y quisiera poder alojarme en el mismo lugar, Penaferrim Sintra Rooms.

É um apartamento que foi transformado em alojamento local. A maior vantagem é a localização com o parque de estacionamento gratuito que permite transitar pras atrações em transporte de aplicativos (esqueçam o autocarro que é caríssimo).
A cafeteria da esquina atende bem o pequeno almoço com pastel de nata especial do sr. Artur.

La stanza é veramente accogliente, piccolina è vero ma per stare uno o due giorni è perfetta! Letti comodi. Doccia top.
La posizione è lontana dal centro...e per arrivare in centro con la macchina è un casino, ma questo perché Sintra in macchina a mio parere è scomodissima. Alla fine ho dovuto prendere un taxi....tanto valeva non noleggiare la macchina

Ce petit hôtel de 3 chambres est vraiment mignon. Situé à Sao Pedro et non à Sintra même, il permet d'échapper aux hordes de touristes. Mais on rejoint Sintra et les sites à visiter en quelques minutes et facilement. Et il y a quelques bons restaurants à quelques pas. La chambre était vraiment belle, confortable et très propre. Vasco, l'hôte, tres accueillantet respondait à nos questions rapidement. Je recommande sans hesiter.,

The host Was very gentle and he helped us to move in a correct way around the city and for our next destination. It wasn’t too far walking from the centre, however you can easily take the bus just in front of the place.
There were no plugs in the bathroom.

I wanted to give this place a stellar review because:
-clean, spacious, comfortable
-convenient location
-really responsive staff, yet easy self check in
-luggage storage
However, it's location is actually quite disappointing because it's directly next to a club/lounge that plays really loud, bassy music until 3 am. The sound of the bass cuts through any ear plugs and white noise, etc. so for me, sleep was impossible until it was over.
Also I couldn't figure out the fan? Sintra can get quite warm and humid (like being in a cloud!) so the room can feel the same unfortunately and get a little stuffy and sticky.

Twin bed is very comfortable. Daily maid service. Very helpful host. It's a short uphill walk to the palaces from the hotel using the one way road, then trails. Very nice walk and a great way to avoid crowds, bus lines, etc.. Very small room but the bathroom is fine. It's about a 25 minute walk to Sintra and 15 minutes to the train station. There are restaurants close by, no need to go to Sintra at night.
The newly installed main door is a safety hazard, you must have a key to leave the building. In case of fire, this could be deadly.

The owner is kind, answers quickly and patiently explains everything. Excellent location, far from the crowds, but close enough for a short drive to all the places to see. There are several cafes and a good Indian restaurant right below the hotel and there is free parking. The room is small and has everything, very clean, comfortable mattress, excellent shower. Very worthwhile for the price. Highly recommend
