If you like to hear the ocean, watch dolphins and seals from the beachfront porch and NOT be right off the Pacific Coast Highway, this is the retreat for you. This location is nestled on a quiet off shoot road from the PCH, within striking distance (about 40 min / 1 Hr) of Santa Monica and Beverly Hills shopping and eateries. If you want to stay local you have a quiet beach and coastline to enjoy with views. Plenty of local eateries (most you have to drive to), but you can walk to the Malibu Seafood Fresh Fish Market for their fish and chips or calamari. Great location and stay. Will be back!

This is a nice 2 bedroom condo. The location is nice on the beach and the description provided was accurate. A little short on eating utensils but there is a dishwasher and soap provided.....if you have more than 4 eating it could be an issue. Furniture was comfortable although the deck furniture was worn a bit. Overall a good choice.

Stayed for 5 nights. Perfect location on the beach for a great escape and time with the family.

We had so much fun at this property! This is the second time our family of four and our small dog have stayed here and it won’t be our last. The location cannot be beat! Had our morning coffee on the deck while watching the dolphins. Then spent the days on the beach building sand castles and boogie boarding. Condo is well stocked with everything you need! All cooking utensils, shampoo and conditioner, sand toys, beach towels, beach chairs…etc. The property manager, Luis is super responsive. He texts back immediately for any question! My son, small dog and I enjoyed 3 nights. Unfortunately the oven didn’t work and grill on deck is rusted…but the view, beachfront and time spent on private beach was priceless! Overall we enjoyed our stay for sure.

House was perfect for what we needed. Bed was the most comfortable bed. TV all the channels. Deck was great. Nice private beach. All in all great place.

Lovely and calm- the views were gorgeous, and I saw a whale the first day! The beach was clean and great for walks, and the location was just far enough away from the busier areas of Malibu to be the escape we'd hoped for. Very comfortable, quiet and clean unit with a great porch. Great stay.

We so enjoyed our 4 nights here. Incredibly relaxing, even with a 1 1/2 year old. He spent hours just playing with toys in the sand. The view from the condo could not be better. Excellent stay.

Local temperature during our stay was a little cool - May weather. The facility was outstanding: location, amenities, cleanliness. I would have liked details about entry into the unit somewhat sooner than the evening before our planned arrival. I was concerned that our travel plans might interfere with such communication (it did not). Everything as promised - highly recommend.

We loved our Malibu vacation and this property. All of our expectations were met or surpassed. The location was perfect right on the water, with plenty of walkable and playable sand and surf. The property is located in away that there was very little traffic so the ocean was the only sound we enjoyed. Everything we needed was available to us including all questions answered immediately by the host prior to check in. We shopped at nearby grocery for the stay and even enjoyed a couple of the hosts recommendations for restaurants. Our teens were awed by the views and didn’t mind our laid back pandemic vacation of ‘staying in’ at all. We usually take them into LA or OC for vacations but I think using Malibu as our home base will be our new normal. Thank you for a fantastic best of the BU experience.

It is impossible to go wrong renting this unit on the sand off Malibu road far away yet close to grocery and food delivery. Absolutely beautiful peaceful and comfortable in every way for a vacation near home. We look forward to returning when we can enjoy all that west LA has to offer in addition to this special place. The condo itself was clean and comfortable with up-to-date decor. The bedroom and bathrooms had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen had all the utensils and pots and pans needed for a home cooked meal, as well as a small barbecue grill on the balcony we enjoyed one night. I can't say enough about the closeness of the ocean from our balcony. I could throw a stone and hit the water. I loved hearing the ocean as I laid in bed and this was with the window closed! I also enjoyed sitting on the beach reading and taking long walks along the waters edge which was just a few steps from the condo.The neighbors and the few people walking on the beach were friendly. The host and owner responded quickly to a minor repair problem and the host kept us informed by text on the outcome. They were nearby but we never seen them. This made me feel (for a short time anyway) that this was our home with no one looking over our shoulder or in our space. I plan on staying again and recommending this property for an annual coast trip that my siblings and I take yearly.
