We had a beautiful stay here adjacent to Winston-Salem for our daughter’s college graduation from Wake Forest! This home is located near in a private wooded area among gorgeous High Point homes! This rental was not only spacious but very well stocked with extras including coffee and kitchen supplies! The host was easy to reach and friendly!

The Wickliff property is nestled into the trees providing a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. My coworkers and I thoroughly enjoyed staying here. It had a large dining room table that we comfortably fit 5-6 guys around and a nice deck out back for the smokers. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms made it feel like each had their own space. Very nice, would highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay, the house is clean and certainly accommodated our crew. Personally we wish there had been a tV in the living room so we could have watched movies together in the evenings. And the home was a little outdated. But the manager was great about getting things fixed for us and communicating. It’s a great home for older folks for sure!

Fabulous home and location for HPU graduation. There were 7 of us staying at the house. We all had enough space and felt like we were at home for our 4 night stay. House was clean and took care of all our needs!!! Looking forward to staying there again in 4 years for our next graduation!!!

The place fit our needs, we enjoyed the location and the kitchen was well stocked. The communication with the contact person was not up to par, early on I had emailed a question with no response, as the time was getting close I had a couple other questions, with no response. I ended up having to call to make sure my questions were answered, while talking with Kristen I mentioned to her I still did not have code to get in, she had sent it to the wrong email. While at the house we could not turn the overhead fan on, TV downstairs did not work, had a dead mouse in closet and the downstairs was overrun with flies. We called while we were there with no response, had to call again she answered, did not fix any of the problems. The place is great just need someone to be more available This was the first time I booked with VRBO I usually book with another site, may have to rethink the next time I need to book.

Graduation stay
Got shut out of hotels for graduation so rented home. It turned out to be an ideal move as we hosted post graduations family gatherings. The venue was superb. Usually when viewing a property online, only the "odd angle" best shots are shown. Well this was not the case here and what we saw when we arrived was much better than expected. It was superbly decorated, neat, and very spacious. The surrounding neighborhood too was very refined and easy to walk around. All who came were similarly impressed. We felt at home while away from home!

Beautiful, comfortable home
Spacious but cozy home with well stocked kitchen. Large windows, stone fireplace, and vaulted ceilings create a beautiful interior that blends with the surrounding trees in a nice, quiet neighborhood. We would definitely stay again. Spacious deck but most of the yard was not usable for children or pets.

High Point Graduation
My husband and I along with our 2 dogs enjoyed our stay here. Very nice quiet neighborhood with beautiful homes. The house is roomy with everything you would need. Wish we had more time to enjoy the cool game room downstairs!

Thanksgiving with family
We had a great family time in High Point, NC. Great location for peaceful walks, beautiful woods around, and yet a short drive to shop whatever needed. The house is comfortable and cozy. Well equipped and tastefully decorated. Really worked well for us.

Close to High Point University
For families interested in staying close to High Point University, this property is ideal. It is minutes from campus, with access to the best that the cities of High Point and Greensboro have to offer. The neighborhood is quiet and lovely for a walk. We have stayed here multiple times.

Beautiful home tucked away on quiet block
We were in town for a week to check out NC colleges and universities so chose this location as pretty central! We loved the home and the size and how it was tucked back off the block. Thought it had a hot tub outside which we were mistaken so pleasantly surprised that the very large jacuzzi tub in the master worked great! Kitchen is super well equipped and plenty of extra supplies so make sure you check before you shop what's there. 😀� My only disappointment (the 2nd vacation rental in the last 2 months that used this) is ROKU tv streaming instead of regular cable tv or satellite tv. High Point is a beautiful town and we will be back!

Great house
Great house in a great location, seems like you are far away from it all in the woods, but everything you would ever need is just a short drive away. My mom said "cleanest rental house she's ever stayed in", my brother-in-law (a chef) said "most well-equipped kitchen he's ever seen in a rental house". If you go out the driveway and turn right there are plenty of sidewalks for a peaceful walk around a beautiful neighborhood (perfect 2 mile loop around the golf course). Also, there are many parks, grocery stores, and restaurants just a short drive away.

Family Christmas
We have had the pleasure of spending Christmas in the High Point house several times now and absolutely adore it! We think of it as the little Frank Lloyd Wright house of Emerywood. The home is so cozy and very clean. The kitchen is well appointed and the dining room is perfect for hosting. We would highly recommend this property!

Beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood!
This home is beautifully furnished and situated in a lovely wooded setting. Our siblings from 4 states enjoyed visiting together in this home as much as gathering in Winston-Salem for our mother's 100th birthday celebration.

Wake a Forest Graduation
We rented this property for our son’s graduation. It was a very easy half hour drive to campus. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable. You will not be disappointed if you book this property.

Lovely Dated Home
Lovely home, but dated with a LOT of wood making the interior very dark. The location worked for us perfectly. Had trouble keeping the temperature in the house cool even adjusting the thermostat.

A cabin in the city
This is our second time renting this house. We didn't get to stay long enough last time, so we returned and stayed a week. It's like a cabin in the city. Lots of windows overlooking many trees, yet it's only a short drive from anything you might want to do in High Point. We have rented lots of vacation houses over the years and this is one of the top on our list. It's so well stocked with everything from spices to linens, that you feel like the owner moved out temporarily so that you could rent this beautiful home. Lots of room for multi families, a master bedroom and bath that is dreamy, even an office in case you have to work while there. The downstairs area is a whole separate living area with bedroom, bathroom, game room and dining table. The deck and living room/dining room are well set up for entertaining a crowd (which we did). An impressive house. We will return!

Clean, comfortable, great location.
The house was well appointed to include linens, games, snacks, coffee, hot chocolate, to well appreciated various sized left over containers. We enjoyed cozy fire, but did have to change out propane tanks. One other fairly minor negative, there were some missing light bulbs for overhead lighting and also outdoor floodlights. All in all, house was adequate and pleasant. Enjoyed our family Christmas get away there.

We have gathered in Winston-Salem around Christmas and now our mother's birthday for close to 40 years. This is the first year we have shared a rental home we didn't know what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised by this beautiful home where 9 could sleep fairly comfortably, get ready for each day easily, share meals and enjoy a relaxing time together. Though snowed in for a day with a foot of snow we found games, puzzles and reading material for a most pleasant experience. Our one regret was that we couldn't get more than a few stations on the TV's to watch a football game on Sunday.

Great place to stay! Close to HPU campus.
This house was a beautiful place for our family to gather for High Point University’s family weekend. We enjoyed dinner on the back porch in such a peaceful atmosphere. Very clean and well appointed.

A true home away from home.
Our trip to High Point to visit family was better than I could have hoped for. This home is well loved. The décor was breathtaking, the natural backyard was so peaceful and the amenities were well thought out. I have found my home away from home ---- thank you so much!!

Incredible NC Get-away House
We loved this house. It is beautifully decorated with many interesting and unique pieces of furniture and decorative items. Everyone commented that it felt like a "real" house, not a rental. There was plenty of space in this house to spread out. We love the family room space with all the comfortable seating - we spent many evenings sitting around talking in that space. The kitchen/dining room table is a stunning cross-section of a natural tree trunk - very special and set the tone for a lovely dinner. In addition there is a great deck with lots of seating that we enjoyed every afternoon. All of the bedrooms were good size and the bedding very comfortable. You can tell that the owners love their home, it is well cared for and makes for the perfect get-away. Thank you so much for sharing this house with us.

Nice quiet area!
The house was beautiful and lots of space for all of us. The deck was awesome but unfortunately only had one day we could enjoy it due to the weather. It was a very well furnished kitchen which we enjoyed as we did most of our meals there. It was just nice to relax with family and spend time together!
