I came here with my family for a week long vacation. There were 10 of us and we are a handful. But the staff was excellent! We never wanted for anything. By the end of the trip the staff felt more like family. The meals weee great too. Javaan “put his foot” in every meal. I can honestly say his meals were better than the ones we had out. The house was always clean even when we made ourselves a late night snack and made a bit of a mess. I would highly recommend this property and when I come back I’ll definitely be staying here. Thank you again to all the staff.

They staff are great Nikita, Shamar, Javon made the stay amazing. F.Y.I. When making your menu look up the prices of food you are asking the chef to prepare and also they only accept CASH for reimbursement. We had a great time and the view was amazing. Again the staff get ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

From the beginning to end, this Villa and the staff were absolutely wonderful! When booking, John was so professional, friendly and informative and always got right back to you with any questions or concerns - no stones were left unturned. The staff, Shavar our Driver was great! He offered suggestions on things to do/places to see and was so friendly and we totally felt safe the entire stay. Nikita, our Butler-I can't say enough good things about her, she always seem to know exactly when we were thirsty, haha! She was so pleasant and was on point and kept things running like a well oiled machine! Kinisha, our Housekeeper makes up a mean bed! She kept everything clean, and turned down our beds every night with bottled water at the bedside, and again so pleasant and even keeled! Javon, our Chef! Oh my my my, every meal more delicious than the last one, we were at that table on time for every meal, haha! And lastly Stewart, our Groundskeeper kept everything looking vibrant and lovely. I highly recommend staying at Rose Hall, Paradise Plum Villa, we will definitely be back next year. The Villa is beautifully decorated and so serene. The grounds were lovely, it really is a slice of paradise! As they say, the first time you're a guest and the second time, you're family. Looking forward to seeing my family again! :-)

Paradise Plum was better than advertised, a beautiful and functional property with bedrooms arranged around a two story, fully equipped common room opening onto outdoor dining, ocean view, infinity pool and lovely gardens. Rose Hall provided security and proximity to the resources of Montego Bay and interesting house tours.
The staff were wonderful - Nikki adjusted to our relaxed approach to life, Javon is an excellent cook, Stewart (sp?) showed us around his gardens, Patricia kept us neat and tidy and forgave us for making our own beds, and Shavar the driver was an outstanding and very engaging guide - a real asset.
We brought USD for end of trip tips but to reimburse for the food for two families with very hungry young adults. We wound up accompanying Nikki and Javon food shopping to use our credit cards. This (understandably) slightly alarmed them but we assured them that we meant no disrespect to their roles and would not use our involvement as a reason to not tip generously.
We had the good fortune of excellent weather until the last day, and the construction of a new house nearby only became a nuisance in the last few days when an automated hammer started up.
We had a great time.

This was my first time in Jamaica and I wouldn't have done it any other way. The staff at Paradise plum was awesome and the house was just the right size for our group. If you have the opportunity to stay 7 days, its worth it that way you have a driver, chef and house assistant. They helped us plan excursions, and was was very accommodating even the unexpected ones to a hospital. It might not be until next year or the year after that before I return, but will definitely stay here again.

It was our first family vacation in Jamaica and most certainly will not be our last at Paradise Plum. Through clear and responsive communications, John ensured that our needs were addressed. Upon our arrival and throughout our stay Nikita, Shavar, Javaan, Kenneisha, and Stewart extended their hospitality, kindness, attention to detail, quality, and support which made our experience so memorable! The Owner was very informative and timely responsive to all inquiries prior to checking in. All of the staff from the butler, chef, driver, housekeeper and groundskeeper were very attentive, pleasant, professional and efficient. The property is exactly as pictured and described and very comfortable. We had 4 couples stay at the house and accommodations were more than adequate. Stayed here with the family in the run up to our wedding in Mo Bay. The whole experience was amazing from start to finish, the team led by Nikki couldn’t have made our stay any better. They made this our holiday we have needed for yours. I couldn’t recommend staying here enough. The Villa is stunning and so close but far enough away from the centre. When celebrating someone everything needs to be outstanding and this property was indeed outstanding! The staff, specifically Nikita our butler and Javaan our chef were incredible. Nikita set up massages for us and made sure we were CONSTANTLY attended to.
When we were out and after an excursion we visited a local restaurant. After that meal everyone in our party decided to never go out to eat again and eat at the house because our food was delicious! We were specific in what we wanted to try and Javaan was eager to please. Shavar, our driver, was also amazing and accommodated everything we asked of him. The property is a bit far from some of Jamaica’s attractions, but if you are willing to spend a little time in the van, Shavar will make it happen.
Having the option to have our laundry done during our stay made it easier to return home and not face that dreaded task.
John the property manager was great to work with and most questions were answered within 12 hours if not sooner. He communicated regularly and with good detail to set clear expectations! Overall we would all absolutely come back to Jamaica and this property specifically.

Myself and my family really enjoyed our stay at Paradise Plum Villa. The house was lovely and welcoming. The pool was great and the rooms were comfortable. However, what made our stay really great was the staff. Nikita the butler was kind and attentive she made sure we had everything we needed. The chef, Jovan, made delicious and exquisite meals that were well prepared and timely. Shavar, our driver, showed us great sites and watched over us on all of our excursions. Trish and Stewart, who handled housekeeping and maintenance, kept our living quarters clean and tidy. Everyone always had an upbeat attitude and positive demeanor. I really appreciated the great staff. We’d gladly stay here again the next time we’re in Montego Bay. One thing I will say is that the house is not as modern as some of the other homes in the area, but still it’s lovely and comfortable.

The pool, patio, and view were amazing! Very clean and AC worked great in bedrooms If you are big eaters, make sure you ask Javan to get groceries for more people than you have. The bigger people in our party were a little hungry!
Overall staff is great, but you need to be directive about what service you want and when. It's not enough to ask them ask them to get cheese and crackers - you have to tell them when you want them served or they'll sit in the refrigerator!
Very relaxing time. House furnishings a little tired, but pretty comfortable. We would go back!

The house was lovely…lots of room to hang outside by pool and living spaces

Our stay at Paradise Plum could not have been any better. The staff was welcoming to our group and so amazing with the children. This is so much more than a VRBO rental. We thought about staying at a resort but opted to do this instead and it was perfect. We had all of the ease of a resort with the staff meeting and exceeding all of our needs but all of the comfort of a home. We always felt taken care of and safe. The day trips with Shavar were fun and he taught us about Jamaican culture. The meals prepared by Javaan we outstanding. We have two vegetarians in our family and he accommodated all meals to satisfy everyone. Stewart and Simone made sure that everything at the home was perfect. Nikita was so helpful and kind. She really makes the house all run so smooth. She was so kind in thoughtful in her actions and in conversation. Nikita arranged in home massage and our departure Covid testing for us. Everything that we could have wanted she took care of. If we ever come back to Jamaica we will stay here again. I would highly encourage you to stay at Paradise Plum.

I don’t even know where to begin. Everything about this property far exceeded expectations. After discussing expectations upon arrival with the staff our real vacation began. Nikita, Javan, and Shavar were beyond amazing and I can’t praise each of them enough. By the end of our vacation we all became family. We loved having them around but never felt as if they were over reaching or in our way. Nikita was such an amazing help and was always there to help or ensure we didn’t need to lift a finger even though I still wanted to help with dishes and clearing the table. The meals prepared were soo good, especially Javaan’s lobster curry, the banana fritter, and his ham and egg Benedict. Highly recommend. Shavar, our driver, provided so many great recommendations for excursions, local restaurants and just providing an overall safe feeling while he drove us around Jamaica. I’d highly recommend him and not renting a car. The property was in great shape and only had a couple issues. The first was the shower pressure. It seems to only work when other people weren’t or the Gardner wasn’t watering the plants. Also, it did get a bit noisy in the early morning hours due to open windows and being close to the highway. We are able to hear the semi truck engine braking and would wake us up at times, but these issues would not stop me from renting or recommending this property again. Honestly, we can’t wait to visit again.

Paradise Plum is in the BEST location in Montego Bay -- you are in a BEAUTIFUL gated community on the White Witch golf course at Rose Hall, with views of the ocean, rolling hills, and only a few minutes from Half Moon and other resorts. We loved that we could walk around the property (golf courses and Rose Hall) during our stay. There is a complimentary beach club a short 5 minute ride away, which has amazing views and is very private. The host, John, is fantastic. He was very responsive and despite this being our first vacation rental ever, we felt very comfortable leading up to and during the trip because of his great communication and assistance. The home is beautiful and spacious (and the pool is superb), but the house was in need of some updating and renovation, particularly to the roof. However, we understand that shortly after we left, a new roof was going to be installed so that should remedy most of the issues. The house was also very clean and the housekeeper was great. It was phenomenal to have a full staff there, although some of the staff could improve. For example, within a few days, we seemed to be serving ourselves for drinks, etc., rather than the staff checking on us or offering to refill, etc. In addition, while the chef was very good (definitely ask him to make lobster), we felt like he did not buy enough food for our group of 7 for a few meals and people were left hungry. Also, it would have been nice for the chef and butler to offer any snacks, like cheese plates or fruit, during the day; but they never suggested this or offered any. This could have been our mistake by not expressly telling them to do this, but we thought this would have been somewhat standard. Be sure to bring this up with them on day one to ensure you have appetizers/snacks. The standout of the staff was Shavar, the driver, who was absolutely phenomenal. Shavar went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful vacation and was fantastic about helping us plan our days. For example, he found us a beautiful boat to take out for the day, on which we had the absolute BEST time. It was really the highlight of our trip. Be sure to speak with Shavar about activities before you book your own, as he wonderful connections across Jamaica and will give you the best ideas. We also went on the Hampden Estate Rum Tour, which was fascinating and a great day (we even got to meet the CEO!). I would also recommend dinner one night at Sugar Mill at Half Moon - perfection.

Rented this property for my husband’s 40th surprise trip! We had a total of 8 people, and felt the space was perfect for our group. Communication prior to the trip was on point and answered all my questions beforehand. However, we felt like the staff at the house was out out by our group. Breakfast food was sparse and when we asked for more, we were told there was no more…and communication with the chef was touch and go. Don’t get me wrong, the food was incredible and we all had fun but felt more of an inconvenience than not. On our last night we had a major rainstorm in the middle of the night and the upstairs suites started leaking on us while we were sleeping. Not sure I’d rent this property again.

3 couples, 6 days, 5 nights celebrating my 50th!! Nakita was the best!! Attending to our every request. She even helped my husband surprise me by decorating our room while we were away for my birthday. The chef made a beautiful and delicious cake and we were full daily from the meals prepared. Having a driver was a great plus as we didn’t have to be concerned about arranging transportation for anything! The only bump we experienced was the Beach Club telling us we had to pay for the Photoshoot we arranged. Thankfully our photographer was able to find another location. I’ve already referred several people to this property and if ever back in Montego Bay would stay again!

Paradise Plum is beautiful. Exactly what we hoped for. The home has a beautiful view and is located in a quiet, gated community. The staff (Nikita, Javaan, Semone, Stewart, and Shavar) we’re phenomenal. They were funny, friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Javaan is an amazing Chef. Every meal was perfectly seasoned and filling. Nikita was so friendly and sweet. Shavar was knowledgeable driver and was able to show us around and make our day trips and excursions fun and entertaining. I would definitely recommend this house.

The property was gorgeous - exactly as described. We loved the pool, the view, the grounds and neighborhood. The beds were comfy and it is a perfect house for 4 couples as there are 4 en-suite bedrooms. The staff is AMAZING! We can't say enough about Nikita!! She is so sweet and there for everything you would ever need. Shavar was awesome! The best driver and willing to take us anywhere at anytime! Having the driver was key! Javaan the chef cooked such delicious meals - incredible food and desserts! Semone and Stewart were so helpful and nice and a pleasure to see every morning. One tip - bring lots of cash $$ as the staff needs cash for the shopping and the beach club (so beautiful) only accepts cash. We found that to be the case at a few stops around the island as well. Such a fun trip! We will definitely be back to Paradise Plum!

What a wonderful stay at Paradise Plum! From the initial communication with the host - John to the amazing staff at the villa - our expectations were exceeded. Our butler, Nikita, was able to meet our every request - including arranging for a masseuse for the several of the adults. Also, she made the best Rum Punch and Pina Coladas!!! Javaan - our chef, provided delicious meals which satisfied even the pickiest little eaters - it felt like 5-star dining for each meal! Shavar - our driver and activity coordinator - was able to find fun activities for both adults and kids - which was not easy given COVID restrictions. Ms. Semone kept our rooms tidy and laundered our clothes before our return home. Stewart - the groundskeeper - kept the pool clean and the property tidy during our stay, he even picked some fresh mangoes for the kids:).
This was our first vacation out of the country since COVID and we couldn’t have felt more safe. Everything was just seamless! We certainly plan to make this an annual family trip.

First we were arriving from another resort and needed to be picked up from there, John arranged the pick with no problems, our driver Sharvar was by far the best driver we have ever had in Jamaica and we have been going there for a while, Nikita was exceptional knowing what we wanted before we could even ask for it, housekeeping was wonderful, had rooms clean and ready. I took my husband to Jamaica to celebrate his 40th birthday. We've been there before and stayed at a hotel but wanted a different experience due to COVID. Due to the curfew we were unable to go out after 9pm. With that being said, WE HAD A GREAT TIME! I can't stress how accommodating the hist was. He made sure all of our request were honored. Paradise Plum has an amazing staff. Nikita was a super star. She made our stay amazing. Jovan the chef made exceptional meals daily and Shevar our driver was always on time and was able to get us whatever we needed. The property was clean and inviting. We can't wait to come back!

We had a phenomenal stay and felt so well taken care of by the staff. This vacation set the bar. This was the best vacation that me and my family has ever taken. Through the years and my travels this was the first one where all the accommodating services were provided and I can honestly say this is the only way to travel. We had the opportunity to experience Jamaica. Not just the tourist part but actually get out and see the country side and see parts and experience things you can't from sitting on a resort all day. I can not say enough how beautiful this trip was and the villa staff were hospitable to me and my family. Nikita our butler went over and beyond making our stay perfect and Semone made sure we had clean sheets and ironed our clothes for us. Dennis cleaned the pool and clean the grounds every morning making it a great swimming experience and beautiful like the pictures you see. Javon our chef fed us to we could not eat anymore making us splendid caribbean dishes and his Key Lime pie should be sold in stores. Last but not least our driver Shavar made everything happen for us and really made sure that we had an amazing trip. He did a lot of things for us that he did not have to do and that really meant a lot to me my family. AMAZING TRIP!

I can’t begin to put into words how fantastic my stay was at Paradise Plum. The attention to every detail did not go unnoticed. The food was spectacular. The house was also spotless, even after some rowdy girls nights. There were 8 women in my group and we were all amazed at the great hospitality shown to us from every single person we interacted with at the house. Nikita deserves a special shout-out as she had everything we needed before we even asked for it. She is a real gem! If this property is available, do NOT hesitate to book. When I return to Jamaica, this will definitely be my go to place to stay! 10/10 recommend!!! ALL COVID protocols were followed and enforced.

Initially we had some concerns when news was showing the problems in Montego Bay, but, we saw no evidence of any problems in our location. Villa met our requirements with no problems and the staff looked after every request we had. Derek, Lascelles, Miss P and Momma D were all fabulous. If your are planning a trip to Montego Bay and are tired of the crowds at the big resorts, give this place a try. No lineups, no problem getting a chair by the pool and great food. What else could you ask for. Excellent place for a vacation.

This property was stunning in every way imaginable! There are so many hidden treasurers that were not foreseeable, but after experiencing it I can share these treasures with every other prospective vacationer.
When you think of a "gated community" the impression is that you will be amongst 50-10 homes in a suburb type layout. That couldn't be further from the truth. This home is located exclusively on a mountain side on a "street" with 6 homes on the entire mountain. Because the properties are so vast, privacy is always maintained. The road leading up to the property and golf course offered breathtaking views while on a leisure walk and there was virtually no traffic.
The home is exactly as it appears in the photos, nothing is altered. The layout offers a common gathering room or small rooms to get away from it all and seek some downtime. The sound system was impeccable and easy to use, allowing us to hook up our devices to it with the Aux cable and play our own music throughout the entire house and pool area. The pool area was perfect with all day sun and plenty of loungers to accommodate each guest. The view from the pool is exactly like the pictures, overlooking the ocean.
The biggest hidden treasure was meeting and becoming friends with the people who took amazing care of us. These men and women were amazing people. They were always attentive to our needs and planning the menu and shopping trips were effortless with them.
I could go on and on about specifics but when I say we arrived as guests and left as friends, I am speaking for all 8 of our crew. It was hard to say goodbye, but we will be back, that is a 100% guarantee!

We loved our stay there. Paradise Plum is a perfect villa for four couples. The setup with 4 master bedrooms was ideal. The villa is in great shape and very clean thanks to Mama D who also washed our clothes and made beautiful flower and towel arrangements in our rooms. The food was healthy and amazing thanks to our chef Ms. P and Derrick was a fantastic butler/bartender. We stayed a week so we had access to the van driven expertly by Shavar who was always available to take us anywhere. All of the staff were great company and easy to be around. We felt like they were family. We loved the pool and the outside dining area. The private beach club was nice but small and we needed to drive to it. The manager, John Hendrickson, was terrific and very helpful. This is a very special place. We highly recommend it.

Just returned from a week at Paradise Plum Villa. Definitely a great vacation.
- House is staffed by a Chef, Butler, Housekeep and optional (highly recommended) driver. Truly just warm and wonderful service. They’re very responsive to requests and also good with anticipating needs. From customizing menus, to quick trips to the store, to decorating for a birthday party to making sure our rooms were how we liked them, we couldn’t have asked for more from the team there (but they would have tried to give it to us, if we did).
- House is located in a gated community, about 15 minutes from the airport. Nothing really within walking distance so a car (better is to have Shavar for a driver) is highly recommended. Houses are spaced far enough apart for privacy. White Witch golf course is in the same location. You can see some of the holes.
- We were 8 adults and 2 kids and there was plenty of room.
- House is a little dated, but in generally very good condition. Beds are comfortable. Bathrooms are nice and spacious. Showers have good pressure and we did not have any hot water problems.
- 5th Bedroom is more of a den, but functioned well enough. This is where the 9th and 10th people would sleep.
- Each bedroom had cable TV with definitely enough options, but we really didn’t watch much TV.
- W-Fi worked well with multiple devices.
- There’s an open-air terrace on the second level that was nice, but we never really used it.
- Kitchen seemed nice, but never really used it because of the staff taking care of us.
- Pool wasn’t heated and was surprisingly cold given the December weather so we didn’t use it too much.
- One downside is that all of the bedrooms surround the central living room and all of them have windows with only wood shutters. This was problematic when the group was on different schedules ie. early risers chatting over coffee versus late nighters enjoying wine and playing cards. Conversational noise could be a bit loud for those trying to rest.
- The house includes free access to the Rose Hall Beach Club which is about a 5 minute drive away. We went, but it’s pretty weak and needs quite a bit of work. It shares a beach with a hotel and security was pretty agressive, which is understandable, but annoying.
All in all, a great vacation and Paradise Plum was a nice play to stay.
