Venez profiter de la paix et de la tranquillité dans ce chalet simple mais privé et confortable situé sous les chênes de l'île Johns. 20 minutes du centre-ville de Charleston, Folly Beach et Kiawah. Profitez d'un feu dans le foyer, chauffez le grill pour des fruits de mer frais ou prenez une douche chaude sous les étoiles!
La Sleepy Shack est simple, confortable, lumineuse et propre! Le studio est idéal pour deux locataires. Trois personnes peuvent facilement entrer dans cette cabine de 500 pieds carrés si une personne ne se soucie pas du canapé ou d'un matelas gonflable (fourni).
L'appartement avec véranda arrière est privé. La cour commune est grande.
Le Sleepy Shack est à distance de marche de la brasserie Low Tide et très proche de divers restaurants. Assistez à un film au Terrace Theatre ou profitez de la musique live à The Pour House (dans un rayon de 5 miles).
Venez explorer Johns Island - The Vineyard, Sweet Water Distillery, the Tea Plantation, Angel Oak, the Johns Island Farmers Market. L'île Johns est également idéale pour ceux qui souhaitent faire du vélo à distance à travers les chênes, les rivières et les marais de cette région rurale (mais pratique). Les larges plages tranquilles de Kiawah ne sont qu'une route panoramique sur le chemin.
Ou sautez vers l'île James voisine pour profiter du plaisir et du soleil de Folly Beach. Great location. Host Cava was fantastic in accommodating our request to show up late. Nice shack for sleeping and great patio for relaxation. Great outdoor shower.

This cute little place was just far enough away to get us away from crazy city life but just close enough that we were within a 30 min drive from everything we wanted to see and do. Cava was a wonderful host and was so friendly and willing to help if we needed it. We enjoyed staying at this little sleep shack. We hope to one day come back again.

We loved our shack! Very quiet neighborhood. The outdoor shower was great! The host Cava and Billy are the best. Folly Beach is a 20 minute drive away and what a great beach it is. Exploring Charleston was wonderful. We will be back to the Shack! Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

This place was awesome. Cava was great and super easy to get in touch with. The place was nice and secluded behind their house, so privacy was never an issue. My wife and I will definitely be staying there next time we’re in Charleston if it’s available.

Cute place. Bed very comfortable. Nice outdoor and indoor spaces. Good to relax and act as home base for both city and beach. Minimal accoutrements but everything you need for a few days’ getaway.

My visiting friend stayed for 6 days and all indications were that he thouroughly enjoyed his stay. Very peaceful setting and absolutely convenient for anyone wanting to travel about the Charleston area as well as convenient to where we were working together in Ravenel. Would rent again and recommend to anyone.

What a great place to stay! Cava was amazing and made our stay even better (even let us play with the dog!) The location was great for seeing many different sites in the area, from downtown Charleston to the beaches and plantations. Definitely a must stay location!

Cava, the owner, welcomed us and gave us a tour of the cozy little cottage. We so enjoyed the history behind it! (To find out more about the history, please consider this for your next stay @ VRBO) She then left us with assurance that should we need anything, to just text her. This was our first such place to stay and we are looking forward to another such stay in the future!

It's in a quiet neighborhood and is secluded at the back of the owner's property. The furnishings are comfortable and the coffee maker was a life saver for us! I really loved the outdoor space with the fire pit. We were there over Thanksgiving so we enjoyed seeing our family during the day and being able to escape to our own space for the night. 10 thumbs up!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at The Sleepy Shack. Cava, the host came out to greet us as we drove up and showed us inside. She recommended things to see and do in the area and places to eat. While we were away she texted that she had left extra kindling to build a fire in the fire pit. The shack was nice and cozy with a great outdoor area. We did enjoy a nice fire in the firepit! It was a great get away and we hope to visit again when in the area!!

The cozy shack is exactly as it states and appears, the host is super sweet. I was in town for a wedding so didn’t spend much time at the house but I am so very glad I chose this location. Easy to get to and close to anything needed. Will definitely book again if I am back in the area.

It is amazing what the owner has done with this place and how it feels so secluded. It is very well maintained. Great back patio and fire pit. We went fossil hunting and fishing. This place was perfectly located for activities in Charleston. Hope to return soon.

Sleep shack was just that...quite place for a rest and launch to visit Charleston and the surrounding area. Well stocked kitchenette served our minimalist breakfast and dinner needs. This place is on the back of Kava's property but felt private surrounded by bamboo. We ate outside a couple times. Would recommend for couples who want a launch point to go out and see the area. Several restaurants and grocery stores nearby and not far from Angel Tree, Tea Tour, etc.

Our stay at the Sleepy Shack was an awesome experience!! Beautiful little place that was decorated very nicely! Very comfortable and private. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was right in the middle of everything we wanted to go see and do!! Would highly recommend!!

Adorable spot for 2 people to nestle away for a few nights. Perfect owners to deal with. All amenities needed and the fire pit was perfect each night with a glass of wine. It has history and is an absolute perfect place. Highly recommend and we will be back. 10 star from us!!!

Wonderful spot for peace and quiet but also very close to lots of activities. I finally got to see and spend time at the Angel Oak- you have to see it to believe it. Highly recommend- I will definitely be back.

This little cottage was perfect for my wife & I. We would stay here again if we come back this way. It was quiet and easy access.
1 thing they could add is a longer shower curtain since water did splash all over the floor by the sink & toilet. Made it a little hazardous if we didn’t put towels down.

We stayed in a fancy hotel for a few days in downtown Charleston, but also wanted to experience the local, more rural, vibe. It was perfect & a central location for all our various beach excursions! Cava is a delight!!!

We stayed at the Sleepy Shack while our daughter played in a tennis tournament in Kiawah. It was perfect place to come back to and relax. Cava was wonderful and definitely look forward to staying there again.
