Brilliant location for sightseeing in Alnwick and Northumberland, friendly and helpful host, spacious and clean room and a delicious cooked breakfast every morning.

First class host and excellent breakfast. The location was also brilliant.

The clothes rail in room 2 was a bit wobbly, so may need a brace to keep sturdy. The shower was a bit temperamental and it was hard to get the temperature right.

The location was convenient for us to walk into town and to.Barter Books, supermarkets etc

I didn’t enjoy walking up 4 flights of stairs to get to our room - I know that it’s an older style terrace house, but it didn’t occur to me to check first the access to the twin room requested. I wouldn’t have minded if there was a luggage elevator to transport our suitcases to the top floor. The bed heads were rickety - and uncomfortably hard - moving and creaking every time that we moved in bed. We had to place rolled up hand towels to stabilise the bed heads against the wall. There was a fire escape access door in our room that was permanently illuminated by a green safety light, which cast a green glow that I found disturbing - I slept badly both nights.

We enjoyed the company of the host Darren… he was entertaining, engaging and very helpful. The pre visit instructions were useful and probably the most comprehensive we’ve seen! Parking was easy, free and very convenient. Our room (no 3) was lovely a good size and with a nice view to the front of the property. EveAnna is convenient for the nice market town of Alnwick… we walked into the town for dinner on both nights of our stay and it was a 10-15 mins stroll depending where you went. Breakfast was good with northern ‘doorstep’ toast. Set you up for the day. The non cooked items are self service (as I was gently reminded by Darren when seeking toast 😊😁). The fridge provided in the room was helpful. All in all a really good hotel… would recommend highly!

Nothing really…

The room was spacious, the complimentary breakfast was outstanding. The host thought of everything with the room being supplied with all the Toiletry essentials and coffee station.

I felt like the communication with them before hand was wonderful. Everything was written as far as expectations, rules, parking, key retrieval, breakfast times, etc. they welcomed us there and were so nice and friendly.

The only thing that could be improved was the shower. It kept getting very hot for a few minutes and then went cold only to repeat the same thing during my quick shower.
