We enjoy coming back to Bocilla Island Club every year! Can’t wait for the pier to be repaired. This was a great week with family.

We found everything as represented. The unit was clean and fresh when we arrived. We used it mostly as extra bedrooms as we were staying nearby. The TV etc. all worked fine. Joe the owner was in constant contact during the week and we had zero issues with the place. Would certainly consider renting again.

Bocilla Island Club is a nice place to stay. Met a lot of nice people. Lots of work being done to repair hurricane damage. Workers really tried to not be overly disruptive and were very nice. When communicating with Joe he was very responsive.

The unit is a short distance from both heated pools yet the landscaping surrounding the condo provides privacy. Everyone was friendly and the lanai was a perfect place to relax and drink my coffee in the morning. Joe was easy to work with and responded immediately to any questions I had. I was able to take the two-person kayak out by myself and explore the coastline. It was stable and easy to manage although I didn't have a second person with me. The unit itself was properly stocked and I felt right at home. I would definitely return.

When we arrived the rental smelled horrible. We had to air out for 2days. Now owner charged off our credit card without our permission an additional cleaning fee. We clean place before we left. Sink clean dishwasher ran floors vacuumed counters cleane beds made. Everything clean an d he now takes without permission additional cleaning fee.

We were thrilled to get a rental in a beautiful neighborhood with so many amenities. When we arrived we were disappointed to first, smell a stench that seemed to be from prior renters. Like they never cracked a window or cleaned. The patio furniture was old and worn. There were toenail clippings by the TV. There were empty contact vile as a well as gum wrapper on the table. We headed upstairs to the bunk room that would be ours. The bedding was thrown over the sheets. They appeared to be slept in and not clean. They looked, felt and smelled dirty. We stripped the 2 bottom beds that we would be sleeping in and washed them. The bathroom sink and shower had old bars of soap in the dishes with soap scum in the dishes. The shower also had empty shampoo and conditioner bottles as well as old shampoo and conditioner bottles. There was trash in the master bathroom garbage can. The towels were old and stained and were put in the closet sloppy. We also washed those before we used them. The master bedroom sheets and towels were the same. They needed stripped and washed before they could be used. There was hair in the master tub and hair in the drawers of the bunk room as well. The fridge had sticky stuff on the second from top shelf. I should have called the owner as he was very nice to work with, but we really just didn’t want to waste any time. We were on a time constraint. It was easier to clean and know it was clean. It’s obvious the owner is not onsite and relies on others to maintain his property. We are on our late 50’s and have stayed in many VRBO’s as well as our friends who stayed with us. They have VRBO properties in OH and consistently get 5 star ratings. Both couples agreed this is the was one we wouldn’t stay in again. Such a shame the owner was very nice. I should have called him. I’m sure it would have been a different experience

The property is beautiful, the condo has everything you need and was clean, easy access to the water & pools.

Very clean and easy process!

We loved the place, we were supposed to check in on Saturday. Instead we came on Sunday and stayed until Monday. The weather wasn’t very good for fishing, very windy. We ended up just staying two nights out of the seven. No fault of of yours. It is beautiful and loved the private pier.

The location is amazing! The condo was perfect, great amenities, nice neighbors, and the boat dock was incredible. This was a wonderful trip!

Had an awesome time!

We enjoyed our stay very much. Walked down to watch the sunsets. Took excursions such as an airboat ride in the Everglades, a couple of nature centers, and river cruise in Ft. Myers. The pools were great to relax and enjoy the beautiful weather. We had everything we needed for a perfect stay.

Great condo. Had everything we needed. Great views from the pier. We a little disappointed at the cost to take the Ferry to the state park beach. For a family of 6, it would have been over $200 for the day. We ended up driving about an hour to the public beach.

With three generations, we had lots of space in the condo and had everything we needed for an amazing week. Comfortable beds with plenty of towels and all the kitchen utensils we needed to make great meals. Joe was a wonderful host and left his tennis racquet and Wii for the kids who also loved the shuffleboard courts. Took advantage of the fishing pier a very short walk away but didn't have enough time to get out on the kayak and SUPs. There is so much to explore and see if you enjoy nature. I would highly recommend Tropic Star charter with Captain Rick to Costa Cay State Park for gator viewing and amazing shelling. Be sure to bring water shoes or sandals! Beautiful views are everywhere you turn in this untouched Old Florida community. Morning walks and evenings on the Lanai were favorite activities. Watched fishermen pull snapper and pufferfish from the canal and watched the dolphins swim past the fishing pier. Locals are very friendly and helpful! Between the Winn Dixie, Dollar General, gas station and local restaurants, everything you need is right on the island! Can't wait to return to this peaceful paradise. P.S. the pools are amazing and very well kept. We couldn't keep the kids out of them. LOL. And be sure to visit the on-site marina store for quick sodas, snacks and very affordable tack and bait. Bonus - the staff is amazing.

We enjoyed our stay! The condo everything we needed! Very close to fishing on the pier, pools, and a place to eat! Beautiful area. We will be back! Thank you for everything!

This is a beautiful and relaxing place. The condo is very clean and we felt right at home. Joe was very hospitable and we will definitely come back. We brought our boat and did alot of fishing. This is a great place to enjoy all that the area has to offer!

Would definitely come back to enjoy all that the Bocilla Club has to offer.
