Perfection if you want a quiet and very comfortable vacation. Hosts are excellent to deal with and communicate promptly and effectively. The apartment has everything required. Located in a peaceful area of Fort Myers beach.

This condo is well maintained but as Ian caused the whole area havic these condos are getting new windows, landscaping and construction somewhere M-F. Did not interfere with us going about our day, swimming at pool, walking, etc. Very friendly quiet area.

We enjoyed our stay because of the high quality beds, showers (and bath in one ensuite), kitchen facilities, laundry room, lanai, and living/dining room as well as the 86 degree F heated pool (5 foot 9 inches deep at one end and under 3 feet at the shallow end).
We prepared every meal in the condo because it was so easy to do so. We had a rental and drove to local farmers markets, Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods to get fresh goods, including 5 pounds of shrimp from the pier near San Carlos Blvd (where Doc Ford’s is). Fabulous find!! Delish!!
The Island Pines community is well established and also welcoming and caring of newcomers. Parking is steps away. Garbage and recycling are also convenient. Some of the buildings and landscaping were getting final work to recover from Hurricane Ian. The pool was maintained by someone who seemed to come a bit less frequently than is needed for the cleanliness level in other condos and resorts. This was not something owners seemed to be bothered about, largely because it happened on windy days.
The location is very good because across Estero Blvd is public access to the gorgeous white sand of Fort Meyers beach - an unbelievably wide beach!!! Clearly this is a major benefit of this location where shelling and biking on the beach are popular past times. There is a group on Estero Blvd who rent out motorized small vehicles as well. Lots to do - by car too. We stayed for 5 weeks. Thank you so very much Keely and Neil!!!

Dès le début la communication était excellente avec la propriétaire. L’endroit est superbe. Tout est fait pour que l’on s’y sente bien et on s’y sent comme à la maison! On traverse la rue et on est à la plage. À recommander sans hésiter! Nous avons passé d’excellentes vacances. Merci 😍

It was great, very nice condo. If I had to list one drawback, it would be the long treck to the beach. Young adults could do it quite well, but we over 60 age group, it was a little difficult to carry beach stuff there. However, the salt water pool was fabulous!!! Would stay again.

Location, location, location!
From the title, you can see how much we enjoyed the condo. Had everything we needed -- unfortunately a few things we didn't -- but everything worked out with help from Neil. We couldn't connect the TV, but Neil came by and promptly fixed it. The elevator stopped working for a few days, but I'm sure that was a "one-off". All the more reason we loved our location of first floor! Walking distance to shops, farmers market, ocean and restaurants. even a walk-in medical clinic!

Wonderful vacation
We were very happy with the accommodations. The condo was well equipped with cooking utensils, towels, beach towels, beach chairs and umbrella. We liked having the closet downstairs to drop off beach equipment without having to drag everything up to the condo. It also kept sand out of the condo. We have rented many condos through VRBO and appreciated that dish detergent, some laundry detergent and trash bags were supplied. The location was great. Easy access to the beach, supermarket and restaurants in walking distance. Overall it was a nice relaxing time.

quiet great place
Well maintained and safe place within easy walk to ocean. Enjoyed the storage cabinet with free beach umbrella, chairs, cooler and hauling basket. Would definitely come back here. Beds and accommodations were exactly as pictures and very comfortable. Also loved and used the outdoor community grill.

Great condo
I came down for 3 weeks to visit my dad who was in a memory care facility in Cape Coral. I had different people come stay with me over the course of the 3 weeks. A couple friends and some family members and everyone loved it. Even though it’s not close to the north end it was an easy drive or cheap Uber. What I did I like about the location still a handful of really good restaurants in walking distance and a CVS and liquor store right next door. The beach is right across the street too. We used the pool a handful of times and it was never busy snd met lots of friendly people there. I would not go and buy a bunch of things for the place until after you check in because there could possibly a lot of leftovers like detergent garbage bags,toilet paper, coozies and other random items. I got this place for dirt cheap during covid but I I would stay again and pay more.

Great quiet location and extremely clean
We stayed here for a month and enjoyed the calm atmosphere. The condo is in the perfect location if you're looking to get away from all the busy tourist areas. The place was extremely clean and hade everything you could need away from home, including beach gear. The pictures and description are spot on.

Great location, very clean and well stocked condo!
My 5 year old daughter and I stayed here for the entire month of July! Perfect location, quieter part of town and a quick walk to the beach. The condo was nicely furnished, very clean, and stocked! My only complaints would be that the beds are very hard and uncomfortable (especially for staying an entire month) and we did not have a key to get in to the pool which was very disappointing for my 5 year old. About 70% of the time the pool was supposed to be open, there was a lock on the gate for both pools and we couldn’t get in. The last week we were staying, a neighbor had a key made for us so we could have access. We left that key on the key ring with the mailbox key so hopefully others staying after us could use!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Captain’s Bay, #102! Very comfortable, clean, spacious unit. They had everything we needed including a great kitchen stocked with good cookware etc. We would love to return!

Great location!
The condo was clean and well stocked for our needs. There were always lounge chairs available at the two heated pools as well as sunny and shady places to sit. The beach is right across the road and shopping, restaurants, bike rentals and movie theatre are all close by within walking distance.

Good location on South Fort Myers Beach
We had a wonderful and relaxing stay. The condo was perfect for the two of us for our three week holiday. As we were out of season we practically had the whole place to ourselves.
The condo was clean and comfortable with all that you could need - we did buy new beach chairs and sun umbrella as the ones in the store were a little worse for wear but this was fine as they were used everyday on the beach.

Very nice condo
We enjoyed our stay at Captains Bay South. It is a very nice condo with good light, nice outdoor deck and pool area, good layout with bedrooms separated for privacy (although we didn't use the guest), generous supplies provided, two very large nice walk in closets and it was very clean everywhere. Nicely decorated and very comfortable too. We loved that Amazon Prime was provided and Netflix.To me the condo reflects hands on loving care.
The master bed however was not comfortable. It is very soft with little support. I always felt I was rolling toward the edge. Also the bed itself was noisy. The guest bed mattress was better but the bed rocked and swayed and was too narrow. A sign instructed guests not to use the garbage disposal and this was awkward plus I think more bits of food will go down the drain and could clog it. The provided dishes got extremely hot in the microwave even though they said they were microwave safe. Also food did not look appetizing on these dishes. The location was just the best with the waters edge about the distance of a city block and a half (most of this distance was white sand beach) plus we loved having lunch at Pincher's right on the beach. The provided chairs and beach umbrellas were also appreciated. I highly recommend this condo.

Great place for our vacation
We like all sides of this place! The location is perfect for staying with children and seniors- waking distance is less than 5 min to a beautiful beach with white sand. The condo has all we needed for staying there. Each room has a TV, so all of us could watch what we wanted. AC and all equipment worked perfectly. We’ve been many times at the Atlantic side of FL, and it was our first time there. We hope to stay there next time! Thank you for great service!

Clean and safe in a less crowded end of the island
The property was clean with an excellent salt water pool. The property was safe and secure with coded entry and designated parking spots which is great after an exhausting day in the sun. The condo was completely furnished with everything you could ever need. Furniture was new and comfortable. Master bed is very squeaky but we didnt kind. The porch does not get direct sun so it's actually enjoyable in the summer. Beach is 2 minuite walk away and pinchers tiki bar is on the way. Great live music and cocktails. In the summer the property is nearly deserted and we had most of the grounds and pool to ourselves. Excellent choice, will stay here again in a heartbeat. Neil was very fast at responding. Not a bad thing to say about the property, condo, or the host.

A homely condo at the beach.
We have stayed at this 'beachside' condo many times and return each time to a clean, homely and well equipped condo ideal for a vacation or long stay.
The convenience of this condo is amazing, from local shopping and friendly bars and eating houses all within walking distance at the Santini Plaza. There is even a Tiki bar on the beach a short walk away ideal for drinks, meals and live music and you can even watch the amazing Floridian sunset whilst sipping on your favourite cocktail.
The complex has a lovely pool and sun terrace with plenty of sunbeds to relax and unwind. the emphasis in this part of Florida is all about unwinding and chilling out so don't expect theme parks and loud behaviour. The action here is more sedate, like taking a boat cruise on the inland waterways to watch the dolphins and again, this is just a short walk away.
So why do we keep coming back? Its because the standard is consistently high and in the unlikely event of any mishaps at the property, the owner is always on hand to put things right. No fuss, no quibbles, just good old fashioned service with a smile! Jeff B.
