Bienvenue dans la belle île de Captiva, en Floride et au paradis! La charmante maison de vacances Sunset Captiva # 16 est située dans la communauté privée et tranquille de «Sunset Captiva» en face de la piscine et du trottoir de la plage. La communauté est située sur plus de 10 km de plage spectaculaire du golfe du Mexique. Il y a une piscine, un quai, deux courts de tennis et une aire de loisirs avec grils à gaz et tables de pique-nique. This was our second time to rent in this little neighborhood. This house was cute and the beds were what we needed for our party of 6. We love this area and plan on returning next year. My only complaint about our house was the kitchen was awkward.

The house was very nice and had all the amenities for a great vacation. It rained a lot and the roof leaked and there were bugs crawling on the curtains. There wasn’t anyone in American Realty office. They answered the phone, but didn’t remedy the problem.

Sunset Captiva is a beautiful location and we enjoyed our stay. This property was in close proximity to the pool and beach but the carpets and upholstered furniture are in dire need of a deep cleaning. The 1st floor shower drain needed daily unclogging and the 2nd floor shower had some mold.Outdoor furniture is very worn and soiled.

This beautiful Captiva home has everything you need to enjoy time in paradise with friends or family! The kitchen had everything we needed, beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of space to gather as well as spots to curl up and read. Beach chairs and toys were abundant. George the on site handy man does an excellent job keeping everyone happy and the grills and pool area looking great. Beach access is fantastic. Only bummer was tennis courts being redone, but will be up and running soon w pickle courts. We will be back for sure!

House complex extremely clean and tidy, pool area spotless and always checked on by maintenance crew multiple times a day, bbq’s cleaned every morning, house that we rented was perfect, issue with sliding glass door and was promptly dealt with, also any supplies that were running out of for our two week stay was replenished immediately, I really can’t say enough about all the crew that works on this property, they were amazing!

The house was spotless and had virtually no signs of Ian except for the front stairs that a contractor was there measuring to replace.Sunset Captiva was in remarkable shape and nicely maintained by George the maintenance man.How can you beat a 30 second walk to the pool and 2 minutes to the beach.Looking forward to our next stay!

Very nice amenities and location. The unit's furnishings were clean and comfortable; fairly new. We did have some issues with the front door (dated, all glass and the lock was finicky) and the upstairs sliding door (wouldn't lock).

Had a great week in SC#16. Very nice, clean and well appointed. I wish they used digital door locks instead of keys as only one key was initially provided although we got a second one on Tuesday from the office (office was closed Saturday evening when we arrived and didn't open until Tuesday because of the holiday). Our A/C stopped working on Monday afternoon (holiday) but got in touch with Albert at American Realty and he managed to have technicians there within an hour to repair it. Would definitely rent with them again!

December Sunshine
Had a great stay. Perfectly centered between the beach and the town center. Yards from the pool and grills. Spacious home for 6 people (bonus loft with 2 twins plus the two bedrooms listed). Big upper floor sun deck for afternoon sun. We made use of the available beach chairs and umbrellas. The shed had beach toys, coolers, and wagon available also. Arrangements and entry were seamless. Near record temps made for a great week at the beach. We received all that was advertised. We hope to stay here again.

The pictures do not do this home justice! I have to admit I was jealous of our friend's rental because it was so much nicer in the pictures. When we arrived we were all pleasantly surprised at how nice 16 really was. First off, the cleaning crew does an excellent job. I am a germaphobe and I didn't feel the need to wipe everything down like I usually do. This place was SUPER Clean and even smelled clean! Next, this place has everything you will need! We brought a bunch of stuff thinking we would need trash bags and toilet paper etc but we highly over packed! Maybe just 1 extra roll of TP and Paper towels and you will be set. Oh and some Fabric Softener if you need to do laundry.The beds and bedding were VERY comfortable, so much so that my husband and I want to buy that mattress and comforter! The rental came with - Dish Soap, Paper Towels, A Sponge, Some Laundry Detergent, Toilet Paper for both bathrooms, spice rack, beach towels, Bath towels, wash clothes etc, there are even beach chairs, floats, beach toys in the little shed downstairs. And Games for Family game nights! We had an issue with the guest room Closet Door and the Rental Management Company had someone out there to fix in pretty quickly. Pros:
Location- close to beach and pool.
Walking distance to restaurants and grocery store.
Chairs, coolers, beach towels all provided.
Plenty of pillows, blankets, and towels.
Kitchen is well stocked.
New community grills right outside the house.

Was advertised as a 2.5 bath (I emailed them and they said they would change it)
The bedroom downstairs has a queen and 1 twin, across from bathroom. Nice set up.
But you must walk through the loft (2 twins) to get to the Master suite.
Twin mattresses are very firm.
Overall, it’s a great house and great location. Clean and convenient.
