A stunning chateau that is perfectly positioned outside of AIX. It’s an easy drive into the city with ample parking. The property feels like you are transported to another time. Beautiful grounds, gorgeous trees, a lovely pool and an extremely comfortable room with beautifully updated bathroom. Probably the part that made the entire stay so memorable were our hosts! Clement and his beautiful family welcomed us into their home. He was a wealth of information for the surrounding area and was available and happy to help with any questions we had. He even provided a lovely bottle of
Bubbly to celebrate our anniversary. Our morning breakfast spread was perfect, complete with cappuccinos. Merci pour tout Clément.
Nothing at all!

The most beautiful place i've ever been to.
Never thought i would stay in a real chateau.
Every aspect was perfect.
From the beauty of the house,to the ancient trees and the romantic gardens.
The kind and patient host.
How he spoiled us and thought of everything.
A great experience.
Seems like a dream.
PERFECTION. ❤

Lovely large room with modern bathroom in a chateau built in the 1700s. We enjoyed strolling around the expansive gardens and swimming in the pool. Good breakfast included. Plenty of carparking space with facilities to charge an electric car.
Sound of freeway in the near distance when sitting outside, but very quiet when inside the chateau.

The magical feel combining history, sentiment, and passion by the owner joined by his care from the arrival all the way to the departure. This place provides comfort and unique experience... Must come again and find time to take a swim in the property's garden pool.

Breakfast was excellent, everything served was very fresh and the service was fantastic. The Chateau was very clean and presentable. It had a swimming pool which was a great option after a day out touring the French countryside.
Nothing to dislike.

We had an absolutely incredible experience. It was a dreamy fairytale, and completed exceeded our expectations. The chateau is gorgeous; and decorated so thoughtfully with beautiful furnishings. The grounds are amazing, and the pool is lovely. The breakfast spread was delicious, we were welcomed with a drink upon arrival, the room is equipped with everything you need with lovely linens and soaps. They have thought through all the details. Clement and Sarah went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and gave us an unforgettable experience.

the structure as a whole, the "charme" of a stay in a castle with large spaces available, the qiuete, attention to detail, professionalism and kindness of the staff. Fantastic breakfast.

This place is the perfect base to explore the area and Aix-en-Provence. We really enjoyed that we could stay in an amazingly remote and romantic place only 10mins away from the city centre and just 30mins away from Marseille. Clement was really friendly, made us feel at home from the first second. We loved it and would certainly go back again (as soon as possible).
Time went too fast.

Charming Chateau with comfortable spacious rooms and beds. The bathroom with shower was beautiful. You can use two large shared sitting rooms downstairs. The pool with the surrounding grounds leave you with a sense of tranquility. The owner Clement welcomed us and efficiently explained the electronic locks. The next morning he served us a lovely French breakfast under the plantain trees. The stay was a wonderful experience!
Nothing, it is just next to the highway so you will need a car to get into Aix.

The new owners have made a very good job. Room and bathroom very tastefully decorated. The whole house is in great shape.
Unfortunately there is an Expressway close to the hotel which is slightly disturbing. I would like to point out that it does not impact your night sleep.

Classy and authentic, this beautiful property oozes history and charm. Clement was the perfect host and we thoroughly enjoyed our time spent at Chateau de Saint-Girons. To stay in a family home that was built around 1750 was a real treat.

The owner couple is one of the nicest and friendliest we have ever met. Highly professional and familiar. They have combined antique and modern furniture in a tasteful way. With it’s only four rooms the chateau and the huge park with it’s pool are a really cosy place for a time out in Aix! The ensemble creates an extraordinary atmosphere
Very tiny little drawback is the street next door, but you can‘t see it because of the trees and plants and hear it during the nights

The chateau is a green oasis a short drive (14 minutes) from the heart of bustling Aix-en-Provence. Breakfast under th
e majestic plane trees or a swim in the sparkling pool would restore any traveller. Breakfasts are super fresh and plemtiful (there is no cooked option, but we did not miss that). The hosts could not be more pleasant or helpful and welcoming. English speakers will be comfortable conversing with either (Clement is French, Sarah is Canadian). This is a rare opportunity to stay in a heritage site convenient to Aix and the Marseille airport. We loved our stay and would gladly go back!
Guests should know before they go that there are stairs (no elevator).

We loved the historical beauty of the place, yet with all the modern amenities one could possibly want. Our room was very spacious and classy with exceptionally high ceilings, an excellent shower, a lovely bed with crisp white linens, and large windows with a view of the garden. Breakfast in the garden was lovely.

The owners go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and taken care of. The inside is perfectly decorated, and the grounds are peaceful with very large sycamore trees. Breakfast was delicious as well. We will definitely be back!

Excellent stay ! we wanted to explore areas around Aix-en-Provence (like the town, winery around there), and this place was perfect. We didn't want to stay in the middle of the town as it's pricey and small. This place was just 10 min drive away from the town and you get the best bnb experience. Breakfast by the host is amazing, the room is gigantic (felt even bigger after staying in Paris for a week), bathroom is big + clean/modern. We were first going to stay here for 1 night, then changed to 2 nights. Glad we did ;)
It's like off the highway, so it's hard to find. We missed the entrance twice, but that's just us. It doesn't feel like you're in the country-side because it's off the highway, but! it still feels secluded and you can actually get on the road right away and go to the town, & other areas really easily. So it can be a good + bad - just depends on your preference. You still wake up to birds chirping though- so still quiet.
