Right in the center. A lot of shops around. Was not bothered to much by noise during the night, kid was ok with that.
The lower bed is very cold. Necessary stuff for living not exists: microwave, kettle, table/chairs, fridge. No wardrobe. Where 4 guests will store their clothes and bags?
The door lock code never changes! Not safe!

Good location, separated sleeping areas was nice.
Entrance to lane was blocked during weekend evenings which was annoying but we realize it is not under the control of the accommodation. Construction noise of opposite building was very loud. Property itself is very tiny, but was perfect for what we needed. A kettle or microwave would be a nice addition.

had many beds
response of the owner is really bad. even got through a third party which couldn’t solve the problem about the lights. I even asked the third party if we could direct contact with the property owners, they wouldn’t have us any number. The owner said that there wasn’t a power outage two days later. If there wasn’t any power outage, why can’t we even not turn on the vent that was in the middle of the room. highly doubt that claim.

The location was good (about 10 minutes walk from the station) and the accommodation fit our group of 5 people well to the 30 square family room and we had quite private room in general. It also was good to have 3 mirrors in total so we didn't have to rely only on 1 mirror when we prepared ourselves in the morning.
We didn't meet the staff but they sent us a good info packet how to find the place and how to enter the room etc.
There was barely air and the window could open just a bit and the noises echoed from outside especially during the night so earplugs recommended.
We'd change the mattresses because some of them were really untidy (one mattress' mess could be seen directly from the lower bed) and all beds kept squeaking more or less whenever someone moved.
There were some dirt spots on the walls so the mold was pretty nasty "surprise" because there were 3 allergic people and 1 pregnant travelling and most of us had our noses blocked or throats sore in the morning.

It was a functional room
but the beds made horrible noises, the bathroom was very dirty and the sheets didn't get changed. I've worked as a housekeeper myself and this is just lack of professionalism not only from the cleaner's part but their manager or supervisor who checks every room to meet the standards.

it has been a nice experience. though small, rooms were perfect! and clean. really liked.

central location, clean, above a lovely coffee shop.
Central location so very loud at night (but so central). The phone number on booking.com is old so trying to get into the property after 9pm when the gate shut was difficult. Eventually realised that an email with check in details for the key code never arrived or I didn’t see it. Eventually got hold of the people who run the place and they were very helpful and friendly, even though it was 10pm.
The couch was uncomfortable but really, this is a very good property and good value for money.

The location was central, with Haarlem's cathedral just around the corner. There was no reception and we didn't meet any staff, we were just handed over a code for the door (which by the way doesn't lock itself!)
The room was advertised for 4 people, but the truth is that it's just 2 sleeping 'pods'. One is a mattresses thrown into an alcove in the wall, and was really claustrophobic. Didn't have enough room to fully extend myself at 180, and surely couldn't stand up. The other mattress was on a shelf right above the stairs to get inside the apartment; that was a bit more spacious, but there was serious danger of falling over when climbing down due to the ladder being small and steep.

Location
There is no fresh air, you can’t open the windows since it’s street level. And room is very small, there is not enough space to put things. Tou can hear all steps from upstairs and from the street.

It was a bit cold

Great location, within the city centre.
Poorly isolated, very cold, not ideal when traveling with a baby.

We were very happy with the accommodation, nice and clean room, close to the main square made our stay in Haarlem really enjoyable. As well the communication with the host was very effective, kind and fast. The only thing we were not happy was the breakfast. We kind had an issue with timing, although breakfast should be from 8:30,the place was never ready at that time.We had to wait every day and the last day was really upsetting, since after getting into restaurant we waited an hour for the breakfast, while guest coming from the street were being served before us. Thought the food was fresh and tasty and server's were polite,we thing there is a place for improvement regarding the opening times.

The location is amazing very easy to reach everything.
The staff was also very nice when we had the problem of the door they were super available to help us.
The rooms are very nice and well organized.
We stayed for 2 weeks and we had to clean the bathroom ourselves. They have the possibility to clean but with an additional fee of 20€.
