This is a lovely hotel with. Rey large rooms at a great price. Magnificent buffet breakfast.

It’s remote from everything. We stayed their because it was slightly closer to our son, whom we were visiting, than central Nanjing hotels. But we ended up having to take taxis anyway to go anywhere. We might as well have been in city center and closer to historical sites, restaurants, etc. And I do mean remote. There is not even a coffee shop or small grocery nearby. The hotel is in a large park area surrounded by major highways. It’s a convention hotel for nearby expo center. The problem is compounded by the fact that the hotel does not have a coffee shop or snack bar for guests. It does have restaurants for major meals. But if you need anything at the odd hour, forget it. Only hope is room service. Also, as in many hotels, the staff basically speak Chinese. Limited command of English or other Non-Chinese languages.

Very incompetent staff. On SEP 6 i called with help of receptionist in hotel in Hongkong to ask if they charged our card for rooms. They said - no, you have to pay upon arrival. I sent money to client, he paid by card (and it caused problems for me and client). Then, while checking bank statement i found out that they actually charged also our card online!!! How do the staff work not to see that this was already charged and they double charge again? This caused a lot of time, stress, and money and just because someones is doing poor job.

This hotel caused me a lot of inconvenience. On Sep 6 i called them with a help of receptionist in one of Hongkong hotels to ask if they charged our card online. They said, no, you have to pay upon arrival. I sent money to client, they paid by card, and this caused inconvenience to me and my client. Now, when checking bank statement i see that it was actually charged before clients arrival! Why such incompetent people work there? Don't they see on booking system, that amount is charged? No, they need to charge again, and they need to cause problems.
