The location, the peacefulness and of course the beautiful dogs.

The location was central to the wineries.
The suite is the master suite to the house that has been closed off for rental, there was no separation for privacy nor separate parking, I was asked to park in the driveway next to their carport, the booking descriptions do not match the actual stay,as the suite does not overlook the pool, there is no private entry as it is from the patio door, no separate parking nor was their breakfast included which was in my booking price. I was told by the on-site manager Sam on arrival that it was an error on Booking.com that they had been trying to remove for over 2 years. The booking description gives you the impression it is separate and private from the main house where it is not. The second night I was kept awake by the managers on site entertaining their friends on the outside back balcony which runs alongside patio near the main suite. There is no separation so you hear all noises from the managers inside the house and the laundry that is behind the room.

We got into the deck cafe for breakfast on Monday as it was booked out both Saturday and Sunday so we used our voucher then and the breakfast was really good with lots to choose from and the service was great.
The location was outstanding and we mainly stayed up around that area and saw places that we haven't been to before, had some beautiful walks and visited the Watershed art gallery and the winneries in that area. The restaurants Amanda's on the edge and II Cacciatore were amazing and so glad we got the chance to have dinner there.
Unfortunately the weather turned on us and our hot air balloon ride was cancelled. Although the weather was patchy with rain and being windy and cold we still found lots of other different things to do and really enjoyed our little getaway.

The location was convenient but aside from that there is not much else to say.
The 'ensuite' was actually a Jack and Jill bathroom and the only way to get to the main bedroom was through both the other bedroom and bathroom - add to this no hand wash in the bathroom, no hand towels to dry them along with a toilet door that didn't shut properly... The main bedroom also had a door with a shaded window and this backed onto the main part of the house kitchen, with no curtain to stop light coming through in the evening and also noise travelling through. We had paid for a 2 night 'bed and breakfast' but were only given basic breakfast supplies for 1 day worth of breakfast, to top it off there were no washing up facilities so once we had used the mugs/plates on the first day, they had to sit dirty in the property until we left. The 'pool' looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while to the point where it has definitely become a home for a happily little family of frogs.
The photos and information provided by the owner regarding the property are quite misleading and highlight the main part of the house rather than the actual accommodation. I would encourage other bookers to exercise caution when booking this place unless the owners make some noticeable changes or advertise the accommodation correctly.

beautiful scenery and a cute family of Roos that live on the property
reception not at the venue, but also not needed as there is a lock box. breakfast “included” not really something worth advertising

Staying on a vineyard
no kitchette, no comfortable outside seats undercover, no local information or advise, yes you can use goggle however would of liked some local personal advise, toilet not secured correctly to the floor, The house needs a renovation & some love.

Sam was a friendly host. Loved the quiet surrounds. Enjoyed a walk around the vineyard in the evening to spot the kangaroos. Pool was great after a day of sightseeing. Beds were comfortable.

The location was excellent and was only a few minutes to most places we wanted to go. Sam, the manager, deserves a big shout out for his very friendly and helpful nature. He really made our visit.
The views across the vineyards and the serenity of the place was a real bonus. The continental breakfast was good and the shower had very good water pressure. Always a selling point! We also liked the fact there was a fly screened in outdoor table near the bbq area which we used at dinner time.
The outdoor facilities are quite tired. It would be lovely if the tennis racquets and ball could be replaced as, even though the tennis court has cracks and grass in places, we still managed to have a hit and a giggle with the kids. Similarly with the basket ball and hoop. It would have been good if there was paper towel to clean the bbq and some oil to use on the bbq.

Incredible views, central location, comfortable beds
We had only 1 sink in bathroom for washing up, drinking water, washing hands etc. Bread provided for breakfast was out of date. Facilities were a bit tired and need a refurb. Only 1 small aircon in space, took awhile to cool all areas on very hot days.

Lovely location and surroundings and the room was clean and comfortable. Sam the manager was very friendly and responsive.
The light breakfast provided was appreciated (selection of cereals and bread for toast with jam)
As per the other reviews this property is really better suited to shorter stays and close friends/ families due to the layout of the room as the passage to the main bedroom is through the second bedroom. As we were travelling with our child this was not an issue for us in our stay.
As noted in the listing the kitchenette is a good option for those looking to have light continental or microwave breakfast and eat out/have takeaway rather than self catering due to its set up and lack of kitchen sink/mini bar style fridge.

It's a cute and comfortable accommodation. We love the doggo and the kangaroos! :)
Beautiful sunset.
It's not what we didn't like, it's more as an fyi for other patrons: there are no kitchens and no sinks other than the one in the bathroom.
To get to the second bedroom and bathroom you will need to travel through the first bedroom.
I guess if you're staying with people you really know it's ok, but it could be quite awkward walking into each other using the shower or trying to access the living room if people are sleeping in the first bedroom already.
Would be nice to have a box of tissue in the living room/ dining area.

The place itself was nice, the view from the room was beautiful and it was nice walking around the property. The location was quite convenient as it was only about an 8 minute drive to the gardens. The bed was comfortable and the staff were friendly.
The shower had a lot of hair in it when we arrived, the kettle was extremely dirty but lukily there was a microwave we could use instead. The pool was closed and we were only given enough jam for our breakfast for one of the days.

Quiet location. Nice environment. Friendly staff and nice winery
Access to toilet has to go through one bedroom. Minimal services and facilities such as cutlery and plates.

Beautiful scenery, very quiet and peaceful. Excellent staff and the cellar door was great (bought a few bottles of wine😁). Very close to all of Pokolbin. Will definately stay again.

Very cosy and comfy property, close to everything we needed. Beautiful vineyard and views
Had good range of appliances and food provided, but a small kitchen sink to wash the dishes would of been good or even a dish washer, but over all we had enough and it was great !

Very scenic location, beautiful!
No where to wash dishes, air conditioning only in middle room . Breakfast not restocked on the second day, supposed to be included in room rate!0

Stunning sunrises, use of bbq, friendly staff & loved having dogs there (they're not allowed inside). Staying at the vineyard was very relaxing.
Only one heater/aircon fpr the 3 rooms. The kettle doesn't fit under the sink in the bathroom & there's no other tap in the rooms.

Our experience from start to finish was excellent! Sam’s homemade bread on arrival was a standout for us. What an awesome touch and it was superb. Definitely staying here again.
Nothing we didn’t like.

location and staff where super friendly room was clean
the breakfast was not up to expectation, but possibly my fault not the hosts, I didn't look closely enouhg on booking dot come it was continual, I was expecting a cooked breakfast

The dogs
To be honest it’s not really going to matter what I put in as there will be no changes that come about from this review or previous reviews. Hence the reason I had to book our second night elsewhere after arriving at the property.
All I will say is don’t bother booking even one night.
2.5
The best part was the 3 dogs on the property which my kids really enjoyed plying with all the time. Without them it would have been very dissappointing. The location is good and we did see a bunch of Kangaroos in the morning. We were lucky to have no other visitor to the property which gave us a lot of privacy durong the stay which was a bonus. The manager of the property (who also stays in the property) was freindly during our stay.
Overall this is not a professionally looked after place. No breakfast was available except for few satchets of cerelas placed on the fridge. Was informed of bread in the fridge but was missing but was later delivered by the care taker who stays nearby. No proper arrangement for breakfast was a great disappointment and if we knew it, we would not have picked this property. No sink to wash the plates or even take some drinking water. Had to use the toilet sink to fill the kettle! Not even a microwave to heat the food. The place could be presented better.
