loved that we were offered an upgrade to the villa when we joined the Accor membership which was relatively at a good price! so we were close to the beach with beautiful views.

I felt that the villas are a bit run down & ‘dark’. - probably could do with better lighting, new furniture & deco. the tv reception in our room was not very good either. Our electricity in the room kept going off for the first few days. We also thought it was unfortunate that the beach is not very suitable for swimming in, the sand was too soft to walk into the sea. I would have loved to have enjoyed our stay more if I could swim the ocean. found it a bit unsettling with beggars trying to sell coconuts to us all day and watching our every move while we were trying to relax. we really felt sorry for them. in the end we gave them some money hoping they would leave us alone. the food & drinks was average.

This hotel is very comfortable and very good value. The hotel area is very clean and the staff is very friendly. Breakfast food has many choices and is very tasty according to the taste of each individual. Novotel Hotel the best

All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel grounds were pretty and the facilities were pretty good. The beach - once cleaned after the big storm we had - was beautiful. The food in the restaurant was tasty, but very expensive.

or It was so expensive! You are already paying a lot to stay there. I couldn’t believe how much the food and drinks cost at the restaurant. $16 breakfast. $60+ massages at the spa. $15 one hour kayak hire. To make it worse, it took 7-8 mins to drive toe30 mins to walk into Kuta, so you had to put up with their overinflated prices, or make an effort to go into town. Secondly, there was no free drinking water. We’ve travelled all over Lombok on this trip, and this was the first hotel that didn’t offer free drinking water. I asked at reception, and was told they only have the 300ml bottles of spring water provided for brushing teeth, and I would have to drinking those one by one, then go and ask for another two bottles. What?! This is a tropical destination. You need to drink water. So you have to either pay $2.50 for a 1.5 litre plastic bottle from the hotel shop, or make the journey into Kuta to stock up there. Lastly, despite the sign in the bathroom saying only towels on the floor would be changed, they changed ours every single day. How is that environmentally friendly? Overall, while it was a nice enough hotel, it was definitely not worth the money we paid to stay there.

The whole resort is built like traditional indonesian villages, everything is made of stone and wood, we were really impressed. The garden is amazing, we discovered every time something special plant or bush while we were walking around the buildings. The pool is very good, big enough and close to the beach with amazing view. Breakfast was really nice with lots of different choises, also good for people with rather european taste😉 The staff is excellent, always there for you, but not pushy at all.

The restaurant and the little shop is quite overpriced.

Exceptional, attentive, friendly, helpful staff, wonderful meals, relaxing atmosphere. Thank you to Mila, Erma, Yana, Ocha, Azam, Aziz among so many others who helped us each day. Shout out to an excellent guide-driver, Pak Andi. The water pool villa we booked is worth it for privacy, spaciousness & value for money compared to where we are from. Hotel is nearest to the Bukit Segar entrance where we walked up the hills for a beautiful view when we arrived before the 3pm check-in. Easy enough to the Southern Gilis, Pink Beach and breathtaking Tanjung Aan. These stops are just nice for 3-night stay. Return to Netflix in the comfy hotel room :)

Wifi is not regular in the rooms but great in common areas. So don't try to bring work to do here. Bed on the soft side for us.

The beach area with beds,, the nice breakfast with an amazing view. The restaurant was nice and my husband had the best sate of the all trip there. Staff was great and really helpful.

Hotel facilities would need some upgrade. Pool and sound beds felt old. Interior out of date. cleaning not perfect. AC in room leaked. Worst of all- no environmental consciousness. No free water - had to buy glass bottles to drink. No one picking up trash from beach and around. No thinking and education in how to preserve reefs. Minimarket selling plastic food. Plastic articles jn bathroom. No organic food. Gym tiny. Felt like stuck in the 90’s.

a little far to walk to town, very hot walk. maybe a shuttle to town a few times a day would be good. restaurant prices a little expensive. no outside area to dry wet clothes in room.
