One window couldn't be opened which was quite uncomfortable due to the heat.

It is actually unbelievable the experience I have had with Hostel Koln. I was charged 500 Euros for one night in a shared room on the 27th of June with my two friends We made the booking on the 12th of June and was charged for it. However I was recharged 246 Euros for this booking again on 23rd June. Once I checked into the property regarding this a person as the desk Said he has no idea about it. Once we checked out there was no news on this too, The very sad part about this is I have been calling every single day and booking.com took my card details further paid the hotel. So if we customers have had a double charge for this booking ( and I shared my bank statement etc) we have no right to ask for our money back? I have done everything to proof that I have been charged twice however the hostel has not released my money for it..not even half the amount. If there was a double booking why did no one at the property mention it? I only noticed it when I saw my bank statement to see this. It's unfortunate booking.com is not a safe place to put your card details anymore and the hostel too is not willing to refund us...for no fault of ours. It's actually cheating someone. It's a pitty to see we come all the way to visit internationally and we are cheated my both booking.com( who we trusted with our details) And The property who has not bothered to even call back or discuss this. DONT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF PUTTING YOUR DETAILS WITH BOOKING.COM NIETHER BOOK THIS HOSTEL THAT COULDNT GIVE A DAMN ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS. KARMA WILL TAKE CARE OF THIS. I HAVE PAID 500 EUROS FOR THE NIGHT IN THIS HOSTEL WHICH IS WORTH 199 EUROS( FOR WHICH I was charged) Thank you and hope you guys don't book this hostel.

kinda noisy, not good sound isolation the floor was dusty be very careful on the slippery shower floor

Rooms were clean, breakfast was delicious, and the staff was really friendly and helpful. Location is ideal and easy to reach.

The only elevator is not optimal since on each floor, there is only one button to call it either up or down. It stops constantly, sometimes was not responding for a long time, and it was faster to just go 6 floors up or down.

Great stay! Rooms were fine, breakfast also. Parking under the hostel was also 👍

that the bed type was not the same as in the photos, we wanted a bed bunk and a double bed as in the pictures but we got 2 bunk beds

A good place to stay during our 2nd days and 1 night in Köln, very accessible to tourist spots.

The hotel is near by the tram station, and also close to a lot of restaurants. The room was perfect for 3! And the personal was really friendly!

The room is clean and has all the necessities we needed ( towels ).
