The staff were all consistently excellent- notably those on reception - friendly, helpful, well informed, quick to respond (to one temporary problem), and well able to cope with English Our room was very good in size and fittings. The location was excellent - close both to the station and the main square / urban axis - but pretty quiet , with locally oriented bars/cafes (as main street shifted a block westward in 19th century).

The hotel has a compact site, especially on the ground floor. This means a small breakfast/reception area which is well organised, but limits the breakfast offer. This is understandable/acceptable - but rather poor coffee and croissants give an unnecessarily weak impression and start to the day.

Location was fantastic, the staff was very kind and attentive. Breakfast was basic (served cold) but filling.

The mattresses were thin and the wifi (for accessing directions) was frequently down or slow and only one person could access at a time (if at all). The weekend rate was very high given I searched day of for a comparison.

This was an amazing hotel for the price and location in this major Italian city. Amazing amenities, wonderful breakfast, very quiet inside the hotel, lovely building and decor. Highly recommended!

First of all, the hotel is very centrally located. Only five minutes walk from the train station to the airport and other cities. On the other hand, it is only a minute away from the street leading to the city center. I definitely recommend it. Dear Vanni helped with the reservation process. He was very friendly, smiling and helpful. I also thank him. The hotel and rooms are very clean. The bed is comfortable. The bathroom is clean and of sufficient size. Room temperature is fine. There is a TV and wifi in the room. I would recommend. Love from Istanbul.

The breakfast could be better it was very meager. It was lacking compared to hotel breakfasts in Rome, Milan and other cities.

The room was well-decorated and good-sized, light, clean and welcoming. The hotel seemed to be a similar quality throughout. The staff were helpful and solved any issues we had. The continental style breakfast was excellent. The location is pretty good - between the train station and the city centre.

The room was on the same floor as the reception and breakfast room so there was a little bit of noise in the morning.

Hotel in a good location, really clean, well-functioning air conditioning and tasty breakfasts. Very nice and helpful staff. As an overnight stay when visiting Bologna and the surrounding cities - fantastic.

Our room was poorly soundproofed, we could really hear our neighbors. At the least, soundproofing panels or wallpaper should be installed in rooms.

Friendly and helpful staff. The standard of the hotel is a bit old, but everything is nice and clean. The mattresses quite hard, but no worse than any other Italian hotel we've tried. Breakfast a little simple, but tasty. Coffee was excellent. All in all a nice experience, but quite a stiff price for this standard.
