The reception staff were rude and didn’t make you feel welcome

We we're a group of friends together

We didnt get value for money at all. The wifi was on and off for hours. The room telephones didnt work at all. The pool was closed off our entire visit. The jacuzzi wasnt available after It took ages to find a locker in the change room that worked. Breakfast was frustrating food ran out and staff took ages yo replace dinning so breakfast became cold. The dinning room staff had the worse attiude.

The spa facilities were lovely, rooms spacious and comfortable beds. Nice and quiet hotel. Free hot drink machines on each floor. Location great easy drive into Cheltenham Town.

The bed was really comfortable and the room was clean too. Check in staff were lovely and very helpful.

The breakfast was average, and a queue for the coffee machine as sadly they only had one. The plates, bowls, cups and cutlery were all pretty dirty, struggled to find one single clean plate which was off putting for me as personally I hate using unclean kitchenware.

Rooms were stylish

Bar staff was rude and unfriendly, for two drink we paid £20 which is ridiculous. We was out into an adjoining room which unfortunately sounded like we was staying in student halls with the noise of doors and other guest

Leisure facility, pool, steam room & sauna all what you would expect. Breakfast was great couldn't stop eating !!! Hotel Operations Manager very professional and responded appropriately to the Housekeeping issue>

Reception staff were courteous, room was good and clean.

The service in the bar and restaurant. The hotel was very busy, only one staff member serving at the bar and one in the restaurant. 20 minutes to order a drink and a meal, 45 minutes to wait for food. Breakfast was supposed to start at 0630, shocking, staff were wandering aimlessly about, nothing was ready, it took a further 15 minutes on both mornings. No juice, no serving spoons, hot drinks machines not switched on. Hot breakfast never ready on time. Worst experience ever.

Breakfast was good, porridge and pancakes upon request. Just one note, the heating used to keep the food warm could be improved

Better maintenance on the room, shower sliding mechanism broken, wouldn’t stay up and the toilet water was constantly running. We also booked a room which stated” exclusive king size bed” but in fact it was 2 single beds pushed together, disappointed on that for the rate paid

Situated in a very nice area.

One of the reasons why we chose this hotel is due to their advertisement that they have an EV charging point but when we arrived at the hotel the charging point wasn't there (false advertising). When we asked the receptionist she just said that it hasn't been there for a while now and she's sorry and she only gave us one key for each room. No compensation was offered in any form to make up for this disappointment and the hassle of finding a charging point nearby and the nearest one is at least 5 miles away. The rooms were not sound proof because we can hear the action that is happening next door. In our kids room, the exhaust fan in the toilet was making some weird noise, front desk was informed and to be fair, the receptionist kindly offered if our kids wanted to move to another room. The breakfast food selection was quite limited. The breakfast service on the first morning was okayish but the following morning was a chaos as they had an event the night before and it seemed like the establishment didn't have enough staff to do the work. I stood for at least 10 minutes waiting for the food to be refilled on the counter, no bread nor pastries even drinking water wasn't there and no plates either 🫤 overall, my family and I had a great time going around the Cotswolds❤️

Quiet room, spacious and very comfortable. Strong shower though a small enclosure. Great breakfast, usually.

I find the bar snacks and meals too expensive. One breakfast was spoilt as the poached eggs we asked for were brought to us without the toast we’d requested, and we were told we had to use the toaster at the counter. However, once we’d done that, our eggs were cold.

Stayed in hotel before. Lovely friendly helpful staff. Good for disabled people like my husband.

People parking in disabled bays that are not disabled. Hotel should check blue badges more often.

Great facilities, lovely location and spacious room. Poll, gym and sauna very good and well maintained. Room was spacious with great view and nice additional touches. Staff at the gym/pool reception were very attentive and welcoming.

Staff at hotel reception and at breakfast were not very attentive or responsive to customers. At breakfast we waited a while at the ‘please wait to be seated’ sign and instead seated ourselves as we couldn’t see a member of staff. We walked through reception several times - it doesn’t take much to say ‘good morning’ or just a simple hello. Upon check out staff were talking and didn’t even notice us waiting. So we used the express check out box instead.

We stayed for our best friends wedding which was being held on site. We checked in nice and smoothly and was amazed at how beautiful the hotel was an dhow wonderful everything looked, throughout our stay we were always met with smiles and happiness from all staff and nothing was ever an issue. the onsite leisure facilities were able to use at our disposal which took us by surprise. We had no complaints with anything during our stay and would easily come again in the future.

we couldn't think of anything we didn't like. We would happily come again and book longer stays as we felt very relaxed and welcome throughout duration of our stay. We had a wonderful weekend and want to thank ever member of staff for being so wonderful and kind to us.
