Breakfast was great. Staff very positive attitude . Location, serendipitous. Architecture, very interesting.
Humping bags up and down flights of steps and to the end of corridors without baggage trolley was a bit tedious.
3.4
Outside view and the loft
Bathroom is too small to take shower and the water was stinky

We had a room with 3 beds where the third bed was on a upper floor, a sort of loft. A great view from the room. A large breakfast room keeps the crowds apart, if there are any. The breakfast buffet offered a very good selection.
The restaurant had a rather limited choice for dinner. We stayed 2 days, the room was not cleaned and consumables were not restocked on the 2nd day. The staff was very friendly, but not really professional, need some more routine/training.

We are group of family (6 people) and booked 2 triple rooms which they managed the room to be closed as requested. The triple rooms have 2 levels (2 beds on the first floor and the other one on the second floor) which is really lovely. There are big windows to see the view which is different between first and second floor. The view from the room is beautiful. There are a lot of parking lot available, and we can temporarily park near the building to bring our luggages down first. The checkin and checkout process is easy.
There is a bit smelly and dirty (some old little towel left when we arrived) in the toilet of 1 room. (Another one is fine.)

Got a place to stay at late notice
Room was a little smelly...

It was clean
As the reviews said. Terrible hotel. Ridiculous for this price. Curtains are just for show and do not block anything, the atmosphere resembles an asylum. The best was that the hotel (only hotel in iceland!) asked for my credit card for possible damages. What could we possibly damage here 😂. We knew it was not going to be good given the reviews but was only hotel available and the rest over 700 euros for 2 rooms. At lease we were prepared…..

It's OK, nothing extraordinary.
Bakery product selection should be better at breakfast.

The hotel looks to be converted dorms, it felt more like an upscale hostel. And what is with the tiny waste baskets and the one in the bathroom you actually had to bend down to put anything in it as it had a lid on it! And there was no waste can in my bedroom which was upstairs, I mean seriously.

Good amenities, convenient location, great use of school boarding
Slightly overpriced -stay and the breakfast

clean, great location
needed more outlets
handicap bath floor was sooo slippery

Comfy bed and nice view, friendly young lady greeted us at the front desk with a smile and the experience overall was very positive.
The shower was very lackluster and not having a TV in the room was kind of a bummer.

2 level room with sufficient space for family of 4. Kids loved the upstairs view. Included breakfast was good.
For ~$300 a night there were no bathroom amenities(soap, shampoo, conditioner & lotion). Luckily we checked in early evening to go pick up these from a N1 gas station else would have had to manage without them in the morning.
Our room was way in the back and we had to take the luggage(4 pieces) via elevator then a long corridor, up a staircase & then again a corridor.
3.4
The restaurant of the hotel, the free parking, the free WIFI, "geometry" of our triple room (one bed upstairs, interior stairs)
no complains

Good location
Very basic rooms, made us feel like being in a hostel or hospital room
3.4
Just the location, nothing else.
Water from the bathroom (sink) smell bad; no shower curtain so water spilled everywhere (maybe because we got an accessible room that didn’t request); uncomfortable bed; tiny sink; the rooms are pretty outdated and don’t feel clean!
3.4
seemed a safe neighborhood, quiet location, short walk into town,
v. small bathroom with unpleasant odor, rudimentary/ basic accommodation, no TV in room, not much in the way of facilities, curtains not overly effective against 20 hour daylight.
3.4
Good.
Hotel bar had very little stock.

seemingly not a "real" hotel though during all the year - but a school dormitory and used during the vacation as a "hotel". Actually a very good and reasonable idea: it has all it is needed (except a TV in the room) - incl. a perfect breakfast with 3 different types of marinated fish!!! Compliments for that.
Bonus: charging station for EV-cars with 4 outlets very nearby - and f.o.ch.
nothing negative to note ! (except maybe the missing TV ??)

The stuff was very kind and helpfull

All good 😊
No worries here ♥️

Very friendly staff, close to great Vök spa.
It is actually home for students which can be noticed. Bathrooms are extremely uncomfortable.
3.4
Ok to stay .
Lift did not serve to half level floor. Ask for rooms which can fully access with lift otherwise you have to carry luggages . Room curtains are not in good condition.

The loft was so cute and the views from the loft were great
Inside looks like an old hospital. Kinda sus vibes.
