Very comfortable cottage, with everything we ever needed during our trip through Iceland. Hooks, shelves and plugs in all the right places, exactly where you need them.

The area has lots of flies in this time of year. Not that the owner can help this, but a fly swatter would have been useful. That’s really the only negative I could think of. Otherwise a perfect cottage!

The house is beautifully located - isolated enough that we could see the northern lights but close enough to anything we needed. It's spacious and clean, and the hot tub is a huge bonus. The staff was also super helpful and solved any problem that came up within the same day.

The kitchen is very minimally stocked (not even oil and pepper for cooking), so bear in mind you need to bring everything with you. Also, while the whole house was very clean, the plates and utensils needed an extra wash before use.

Very clean and modernized property. The host was very nice and supported our special requests.

Spacious, new cottage. Location is very convenient for visiting Godafloss, lake Mytvan and Akureyri.

1. Let's start with minimum if 3 nights. It was a chalange to stay so long without washing machine and where is planty of space where to install it. 2. Other issue was dish washing. The sink is small and shallow - super inconvenient! And on the top - where is no rack for dish dying. So you need to wash it and dry it afterwards with towel. We are family of 5 so every time it took me 1 hour... and again where is planty space for dishwasher! 3. Garbage - already after 1 day I accumulated enough garbage and where is no container or info where to throw it. 4. No essential stuff in the kitchen and bath - sugar, oil, shampoo and shower gel. I don't think that I am asking too much taking in consideration that nearest normal store is 40 km away. So there are things that should be improved.
