Great location on main street, 15mins walk from bus station. Quiet room on upper floor with (almost) private terrace. Friendly and helpful staff. Restaurant on site if required
Nothing, all good

Loved the location. It's in a very central, busy area. Main attractions are within walking distance.
It's a 3 star hotel so we knew not to expect anything outside of the basics. However, the wifi was terrible. We needed it for work. We thought it was the area, but we went to a restaurant two doors down and the internet worked wonderfully. Now, the worst part was the lack of customer service and getting ripped off. The hotel staff failed to provide us with maps or tell us anything about the town, they didn't inform us of their restaurant, or tell us that they closed their door at a certain hour at night. We walked back to our hotel a little after midnight. There was no intercom or doorbell. A street vendor had to tell us to knock very loudly so we could be let in.
On March 25, 2023, we asked the female staff member working the reception desk for a taxi. We wanted to visit Chamula and Zinacantan. She stated that she'd have to call a taxi to ask for the price and told us it would cost $900 pesos for his services. We said it was expensive, but she said he was providing a tour service. The guy did nothing out of the norm of a regular taxi driver. In Chamula you can get a cleanse for approximately $100-$150 pesos. He told us he could give us a cleanse for $2500 because he comes from a family of healers. We declined. We spoke to others in the town and were told that a taxi to both towns and back should have cost us about $250, $500 max. The hotel also referred us to a taxi company to pick us up from the airport when we landed in Tuxtla. That company charged us $1800 pesos. Once we talked to others, we learned we should have been charged $800-$900 maximum.
We understand we're tourists and that the price is going to be a little higher, but to refer us to so called "taxi" companies that are charging tourists double the price is outrageous. We've traveled to various parts of Mexico and the hotel staff have generally been helpful and have informed us of what things/transportation should normally cost.

Perfect location, beautiful building, clean rooms, nice staff
We had a room on the courtyard and it was a bit noisy (I recommend asking for a room which doesn’t open onto the courtyard)

Location location location!!
The staff are great. Very nice ppl
Hot water in the shower 🚿
Good coffee ☺️
At first i stayed in the rooms downstairs - it was so noisy.
When I move upstairs it was less noisy but you still hear ppl talking.
There is no heater in the room, and the sheets fells some time damp.
The room is not for 2 ppl. Take the bigger one.
And in the upper rooms the curtain transparent so there is not so much privacy and there is light from outside

colonial style and comfortable
the clean of the hotel and location to this magical town
3.5 / 5.0
- Room was comfortable and cleaned/tidied each day
- Shower wasn’t bad although took some time to figure out hot water
- convenient location on the Main Street, close to lots of restaurants and tour companies
- Great restaurant in the building right outside the room with good food
- Would recommend they offer a valet service which was had at other places we stayed at; the parking was NOT nearby, it was about 5 blocks up and down hills with rocky streets and narrow sidewalks not wide enough for a big suitcase. The walk to and from the car was dreadful and seriously don’t recommend parking here (or actually driving in San Cristobal at all - the roads and drivers were the worst we experienced in all of Mexico and were very stressful to drive)
- The room opened out onto a restaurant which was loud during the day and due to the central location, the music from the street was very loud at night as well; on Friday night the loud music continued until well past midnight.
- Curtains didn’t black out so wasn’t great for napping after a long flight
- There was a water jug and glasses but no actual water?? most places we stayed refilled the room with 2 small bottles each day.

The hospitality of the staff is amazing. The location is great as you get to simply walk outside where all the vendors, music , and restaurants are. It is the perfect location!
There was one instance where we did not have water or electricity. But it wasn't not just at the hotel it was the entire block. We had a tour scheduled for that morning which made it a bit difficult to get ready.

Great location. Comfortable. Cool city.
It's kind of a small room but in the city center I guess it's what you would expect.
