What a perfect Ischia experience - beautiful room , loved the cactus garden and staff so friendly

The location was a 12 minute walk from Fioro port , the resort had a very calm , relax feel to it , lots of sun loungers around the pool l on a separate sun area and on the grass outside the lower apartments Breakfast was taken at the restaurant in the gardens, lovely selection of fruits, yoghurt , eggs , meats ,cheese, tomato Bruschetta , bread and cakes , along with a selection of fruit juices, teas and coffees . Ou must try the home made Pastiera Napoletana it’s a real treat Reception staff were so helpful , we went to buy bus ticket , had a chat with reception who helped us plan a whole days excursions , with suggestions of water taxi and which bus route gave us an amazing science route back . The bus stop is 2 minutes walk from the property if you download the Movit app you can track buses and where to access bus stops too

Beautiful location and unique hotel

the whole complex with exotic gardens was excellent, rooms/apartment was very clean,spacious and beautiful. couldn’t fault the property at all.

there was nothing to dislike about the property at all. The bus service outside the property is very efficient and cheap.

Breath-taking views, very accommodating and helpful staff, all possible amenities available. We enjoyed our stay enormously and totally recommend to anybody! Ps. Botanic gardens and cactus cocktails not to be missed! :)

I loved staying here so much, it was my first time traveling to Ischia and when i saw the pictures of Ravino I immediately wanted to spend the night there. I know it was just a one night stay for myself but right from the beginning before i even checked into my room i was greeted by a sweet little dog and an amazing view. I came to the villa very early around 9am and was originally told that my room wouldn’t be ready till 3pm but when i checked in i was made aware that it was already ready!! So accommodating and nice! Right away i was shown to my room and then taken on a tour of the grounds, offered food and drinks at the cafe/bar (which was absolutely delicious), the area is so beautiful especially with the botanical garden which is right next to where you eat as well as little ponds with Koi fish in them! The air conditioning in the room was so nice and cool which is a great thing to come back to after a long day exploring, i was going to Nengombo spa for the day and i was give bus tickets right away, i love how efficient this place is with the connections they have with surrounding activities. The hotel is extremely quite, i was on the ground floor and heard nothing all night, which is a hard thing to come by!! The next morning i was able to keep all of my luggage at the hotel while i left for some exploration into Forio, i was also given different directions and paths to take to get the best views on the walk! I believe the location is definitely perfect, the walk to get to the main part of Forio is only about 10mins straight down a hill, however be careful how much you bring back on the walk because the hills in some areas are steep. I felt extremely safe the whole time during my stay and even walking/traveling alone as a young woman. I want to thank all of the staff at Villa Ravino for being outstanding and so nice even though i barley speak any Italian, especially the young woman who works at the bar (amazing cappuccinos!!

Sea and garden view is stunning. Spacious apartment, although a bit old. Access to all facilities by foot while there is a sense of calm and respect and safety throughout the place. The thermal bath is really nice too. The cactus and succulent plan garden is really beautiful. The lounge staged a couple of quality musician and the price for drinks is ok. Finally Luca gave us a really warm welcome and tour on a late night arrival, and later plenty of attention throughout our stay for solving problems and giving us tips. Change of bed and linen every 3 days is really nice.

Price is steep for high season incl. Booking commission. Kitchen needs serious renovation. Pool is average and fitness room is messy. Needs a washing machine (service is available for a fee).

I didn’t like that my kids were told not to be loud in the pool during the day. They are kids and just want to play and have fun.

The hostess Edith and her sons were very helpful , very responsive with email , organised anything that needed to be done . The apartment was very suitable for our needs with a kitchen. Bus very nearby so managed to go everywhere . Preferable to renting a car - roads very narrow and italian driving. The cactus garden was amazing and added character to this lovely villa apartment . In addition there is a thermal pool which pours out hot water twice a day - a real treat

As we were off season - it was a bit cold and the heating was not on . there was a technical issue with the toilet which unfortunately was not resolved although there were work men every day. Overall picture was very good

Villa Ravino is the perfect place to stay at if you love nature, relaxing, hot tubs, pool, just about everything we could want in a holiday accommodation. The views are spectacular, the gardens are a delight, with cacti from all over the world as well as a whole range of beautiful plants. The hosts are wonderful, checkmin staff so helpfull with every request.

Not much i didn't like, initially the last 50 or so steep yards to the villa was a little testing in the heat, but by day three we were well used to it.

Staff was very accomadating and pleasant. The owners have a passion for the botanical garden which is apparent in the care they take in the cultivating the botanical park. The Cactus bar was lovely. Amazing sunsets from the patio. Staff provided a very reliable taxi driver and good dinner recommendations.

The photos of the hotel were misleading, as the common areas, entryway, and rooms are dated and worn. The landscaping, paint, furniture and fixtures of the hotel need attention and updating.

This is a great place to relax with private baths and an amazing garden. You can have eat breakfast in the beautiful scenery and explore the surrounding area from there. If you don't have something in the apartment, you can always ask for help! Staff very polite and always helpful!

Would be great to drink a coffee from the coffee machine on the terrace or in the room.
