Relaxing place, Friendly staff, super clean facilities, superb garden with pool

To know beforehand that the facility was uphil trough a narrow road!

Our room was nice, and had a fridge and kitchen. Maria was lovely checking us in, and helped us get a take away on our first night when we couldn’t book a restaurant. The outside was gorgeous, with a pool and amazing views. We booked here as it is near Poseidon but unfortunately this is shut until 2021. We went to Negombo which was great, but more effort to get to. I found the bus routes confusing as they aren’t on Google Maps and we weren’t sure where to get bus tickets from.

We stayed in a few places around Italy and compared to the others, there wasn’t much communication before staying. My 3 messages via booking.com were not responded to. I ended up calling the number on Google and being asked to find their email address online which was fine and once I did this, had the information required but it would be nice to have a reply via booking.com. Ordinarily I don’t mind about not having information before, but I had questions regarding whether getting to Ischia was still okay and what it was like there during covid, so it would have been good to have this information beforehand. It also would have been good to have air con too but it does say there isn’t any on here. We weren’t able to have breakfast due to covid and this wasn’t communicated before arrival so this was a bit difficult, as there aren’t close by shops.

Wonderful place, with georgeous views on mountains. We really enjoyed the hilltop views, the lush garden and the clean air. The rooms are clean and well equipped, dispose with a nice terrace. The swimming pool is very nice. Our stay was a perfect contrast to the mainland and gave us plenty of space for our children to explore, swim and rest. The our host had thought of everything to make shopping and transport easy.Maria, the owner of the villa is very helpful and friendly. Steep uphill road from the main street of Forio. You just need to consider this if you do not want to go up. But this cannot be changed. This is the landscape of Ischia ... In total great location and wonderful hosts.

It was our second stay at the residence. Still great, Maria and her daughter are adorable, the garden is so green and the pool is sparkling clean!
