Bed was very comfortable.

Room was dirty. I found a cockroach in the room.

The staff were very friendly and kind, the room was proper&clean. The place is located at the heart of Dakar downtown, so if you want to be in this area, I can really recommend it. The breakfast was also good, although it could be better, but it was still fine. The pain au chocholats were the tastiest I've ever eaten in my life! The wifi also worked well (some of the networks didn't work at all, but then they showed me another one which worked perfect). The air condition also made life a lot easier.

There was a problem with the hot water in one morning so I had to take a shower in cold water. Apart from this, I think accommodation in Dakar is generally very expensive. The hotel wasn't cheap at all, but Dakar standart is like this, just be prepared about it.

The location was great

My shower and toilet was leaking so couldn't use for a night then had issues try to move the next day being asked to stay in that room another night! Eventually got moved to a room that stank of smoke and the bath room had alot of black mould.

Comfortable bed. Good air con. Good location close to the centre. Delicious breakfast.

Asked for twin room in advance. Only doubles available when we arrived, and was told bed would be changed for our second night, but it wasn't. Room smelt of smoke. Extremely expensive to book a taxi via the hotel (20,000 XOF compared to 5,000 on the street taxi!).

I think the hotel was well located. It is easy to take a taxi to go ile de goree.

The pictures of the hotel don't correspond to the real place.. the place is old and the carpet smell to smoking cigarettes smell

Well-located, good restaurants in walking distance.

Sadly, the staff was unfriendly. There was only one towel, the room was rather dark, the carpet floor felt filthy. There were many Mosquitos and no Net, and there were new ones every night. The shower was malfunctioning. When paying for the room, they tried to charge us for a dinner we did not have that was booked on our room due to their faulty system. They had no signature or anything. They made us stand there for 15 minutes while checking the computer and making calls without telling us what was happening. All while looking rather pissed.

The central position easy to connect with most destinations in the center of the city. The breackfast and the breakfast room. Breakfast was rich and the location airy and sunny.

The room they offered was not of the same standard of those displayed in the pictures. IN fact, the new rooms as they are shown in the hotel ad, are not the entirety of the rooms. As I understand only some floors have been restaured and have contemporary appliances and decor. There are other floors (higher) where the rooms are old, carpeted, with old furniture and old noisy a/c. Hot water rarely available, never in the morning. this is the kind of room I got. (see attached picture) I felt I was not getting what I had thought I would, and was paying more for what I received. Personel not very helpful because limited in their actions by central management. We asked for a sheet at 10 pm at night and the answer was "sorry, the cleaning personnel is gone and we have no access to the deposit). There was nothing that could be done, no matter our insistence.
