The location is fantastic. Super close to the beach and national park for walks. Close enough to the Sunshine Beach 'town center' while being far enough away to not be disturbed by any noise. The large open windows out of the kitchen were great for meal times. The art work in the house was nice, a TV upstairs would be useful for guests on longer stays

- It would have been a lot better if the keys to the property could be left in a safe/drop box at the property instead of driving it to the Hastings Street office. - The top floor balcony would be a lot more usable if there were some chairs or a lounge for guests to use. It receives the most consistent sun during the day and isn't being used to its fullest potential. - There is a public walking track that locals use running right up the side of the property. - Only provided 1 garage remote without the option of a second remote for guests who have more then 1 car. - It would be great if the property had a good selection of board games / cards that can be used by guests. The only TV is located downstairs were 4 people can sit a bit cramped together.

Service from Niche real estate was poor. Once booked, they didn’t respond to my queries about wether they had baby friendly items such as high chair and portable cot. After a few attempts, they sent me a text with the phone number of someone I could hire them from (cost for both $100.). The house was full of large cockroaches, mostly in the kitchen which was gross. Also some in the bedrooms. It’s a hot tropical environment so a couple of roaches are expected but this place should have a pest control done because many came out when I opened the dishwasher. The oven was broken and they agent was very difficult to get in touch with. They promised a call back but I was having to chase them. The day a contractor was supposed to come, so we stayed home all afternoon waiting and no one came and no one called, I left messages for the agent and no response. In the end I complained and they gave us voucher for dinner but I don’t think was good enough seeing as we were leaving the next day and we weren’t able to use it anyway. They require you to pick up key and drop them off to the real estate agency which is about 10 minutes away which is inconvenient. They should have a lockbox on site. The place is nice, but not modern at all and the layout is a bit cumbersome. No aircon in the house. There is only one tiny tv in the small uncomfortable sitting area downstairs no good for entertaining a family. No fan, or tv in the main lounge area.
