The couple could not do enough to help us. They picked us up from the port as there were no taxis. Sandwich in fridge for flight. Dropped us to airport

I loved everything. Quite, spacious, airy, in the middle of the nature surrounde by the mountains. Please leave some water outside for thirsty kitties if you can :)

●Absolutely breathtaking view and magnificent mountain side surrounding... you're on a tiny peninsula so there's sea and a beach in any direction.
●it was spotlessly clean
● nice shower
● kitchenette small but well stocked.
● so close to the airport you can see the runway from the balcony

●IS A HUGE COMPLAINT
THE WI-FI IS TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE!
There is great WiFi in all the tavernas so why not here and while it's TERRIBLE in the day at night I think they actually switch it off .
● it would be nice to be well informed that the tap water is not drinkable.
● it IS up a mountain with undrinkable tap water YOU NEED A CAR I did not have a car and had to lug cases of water up the mountain... no OFFER of a lift , instead I was told I NEEDED EXERCISE
● the SO CALLED BREAKFAST I was there 4 days
. In the fridge were 4 eggs some rusks and an assortment of tiny jams and margarine... none of which was replenished over the 4 days
The hostess greeted me on arrival , I never saw sight of her again for 4 days ... compared to the HOSPITALITY of everybody else in Greece and especially IKARIA it was baffling .

Very friendly and relieble pick up by the host, in 10 min. I was in a lovey room, very clean and comfurtable. Well kept, with flowers and trees and a lovely view. I had a chance to explor another side of the island. Beautiful and quiet. Thank you :)

the window was leaking the rain water into the room all over the floor and it smelled like mold (in room #2).

Beautiful space. So close to the airport but yet so quiet and quaint. The properties were spacious, clean and well-resourced. The additional food that was left was a wonderful gesture. My whole stay was lovely.

The remote location is amazing, you need to have a mean of transportation of your own, but the place is wonderful, quiet and peaceful. The view from the terrace is amazing.
The studio is well equipped and very comfortable.
We had an amazing stay and would definitely come back!

The rooms are on a hill, in a very calm and quiet area with a very nice view. Beautiful plants and flowers everywhere. Very close to some heavenly beaches and views of the coast, but difficult to reach without a car. Rooms are very clean, big and nice. Staff is friendly and chilled. Overall a super nice experience!

Beautiful view and garden. If you like sweet breakfast they have very tasty homemade jam and honey (salt breakfast are made of not good quality cheese and salami, in our room salami was also expired).
Good position to visit the east side of Ikaria.
Too much light in the room in the morning.

Good location, good position, very beautiful view, the best part of the property is the garden with lots of trees and flowers. Even with confectioned/industrial products (a part for the honey which should be natural), the food left in the fridge for the breakfast is abundant
Air conditioning was broken (but I discovered only after check in when the owner stepped into my room during my absence and remove the remote to avoid I'm going to use it; however they have been very kind to discount the price due to this inconvenient). The room was not perfectly clean, some kitchen items (bread-toaster, coffee machine) were covered of dust. The coffee machine didnt work properly and it overflowed when I made a coffee for breakfast. Wifi doesn't work.

Basic but nice and cozy accommodation, very good for the price.
Due to a change of plans we arrived one night later at the Drakano Rooms.
The host seemed pissed about it for reasons we dont fully get and we had therefore quite a cold welcome with no instructions whatsoever.
No air conditioning in the hottest days of our stay and poor apology/no remedy from the host.
No change of towels, no change of bed sheets for a 4 nights booking.
Very poor Wi-Fi.
We did not feel the hospitality and friendliness that previous guests perceived.

Location is great, close to the beach (5min by car) ; amazing view; cozy apartments; flowers growing all over the place; close to Dionysus cave (worth to visit beach and cave)

The location was perfect for me. The breakfast was self catering but the proprietor provided some ingredients. Yogurt, honey, jam, eggs, cheese and bread. The owner Elainie has a beautiful spirit and is warm and welcoming. This was my first time in Ikaria and I absolutely love it
Some guests arrived who smoked and stayed up most of the night. They were quiet but the cigarette smoke blowing into my chalet was very irritating. Did ask them politely if they would mind smoking in a different area so it would not affect me, they were unwilling to compromise.
