Staff were welcoming and helpful. Location was perfect! Karaoke on the first night was a pleasant surprise - we loved it! Rooms were nice sizes and clean and good value for money. Beds were comfy and the rooms were exactly what we needed. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Staying over a pub was quite noisy as they opened till 1pm and had karaoke. Parking was quite expensive as the pub didn’t have any parking permits available

The location is very good no doubt
The host was very unfriendly even though we visited this place several times over the year. Rooms were very hot for some reason even it wasn’t that warm outside. Incredible noisy outside from the street and even more from the bar downstairs. Saturday and Sunday night we couldn’t sleep at all because of that. After mentioning it to the host there was no reaction whatsoever. Very disappointing especially since we have been there before and this situation never took place. Unfortunately we won’t be coming back there ever again.

Great, spacious accomodation, really good location, close to the station, beach and local pubs and shops. Very friendly owner.
There could be a bit more attaention given to the cleaning. A bit of rubbish and dust around.

We were met by the friendly owner, John, who showed us to our room. We had Room 7,which had seperate lounge and sleeping rooms - very spacious. Just off the centre of town, it's a 2 minute walk to the shops/harbour. The pub itself is traditional and down to earth with friendly local guests. They have entertainment several times a week. Great value for money.
The parking is limited, so arrange before you arrive. We parked at Asda through JustPark. Paid £7.00 for 3 days and only 10 minutes walk. We checked in and I took the car to the Asda afterwards.

John the owner was kind and helpful, excellent meet and greet, offered me a choice of two rooms, he even went as far as to lend me his personal charger when mine was temorarilly faulty.
He went above and beyond during my stay.
I was made to feel included by the local users of the Pub also in the odd evening I went down for drinks..
On arrival and departure I was offered a space to leave my case if needed while I explored the area.

John, the host, and staff were very welcoming and obliging. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was convenient for the town and an on street parking pass was a welcome surpise. It seemed a friendly community pub, having a good atmosphere plus music/karaoke..
The sink plug did not prevent water draining away, but this was easily overcome. The music from downstairs may be a problem for some, but not us. One night we went to sleep although it was still on, and the other we watched tv with no problem.

The room was, as advertised, straightforward and comfortable with all the necessaries for a few days. It was above a friendly and very well-priced local pub but even when there was a busy night with karaoke the sound did not reach the room. A couple of minutes' walk from the railway station makes it very convenient. I regularly visit Weymouth and would very happily stay here again, and if not would pop into the pub anyway.
The room wasn't cleaned during the three-day stay. For three days that is not a major issue, but I would have liked it done had I been there another night (which, of course, it might have been anyway).
