very cute hidden guesthouse in a nice area. rooms are very simple and clean. walkig distance to many coffees and restaurants, also a nice “hiking” trail.

Nice room, good location, very nice host, very friendly staff, they helped me with everything, and it is a good value for money. All in all, I loved it and I prolongued my stay 2 times for some more days :)

The staff was so amazing and friendly. Loved it. They brought us our private drinking water tank to the room and organized an additional bed on short notice. We had some special requests and they fullfiled them all. Thanks a lot!

Really disappointing and the really high rating (9.6 when we booked) is not justified. I spent a lot of time selecting accommodation in Ubud and finally chose this one due to the really high rating and nice photos...don´t be fooled. Yes, it´s quite cheap, but just not the value for money. We have had so much better places in the same price (or cheaper); it´s not even that cheap for Ubud. + The wifi is really good. + The patio with the pool is really nice and cosy. + AC works well.

- The room smells really moldy. - The shower is built really badly, so every time you shower the whole bathroom floor is really wet (we had to use the pool towels to dry it). There is no proper ventilation, so for the whole stay the floor was constantly really wet (hence the moldy smell in the room). - Bed is hard like rock (seriously the worst bed we had in Indonesia in two months). - The room is worn out and feels really bleak. - There is a desk for working, but you can´t really use it, as the drawers make it really uncomfortable to fit your legs under (and I am a quite small person). We stayed in the room 1, so there is a possibilty that other rooms are better, but don´t count on it. If you are first time in Ubud (it was my 2nd time), then I wouldn´t choose it for the location either. It´s not that far from the center, but it can take you about 30 minutes to get to the center (due to the heavy traffic). Also, you would need to ride a scooter as there isn´t much in the walking distance. There are 3 restaurants around the corner though (two of them are vegan). If you are in Ubud for a month or so, I suppose Penestanan might be a good area to stay, as it´s more quiet, but not for a short time. I don´t know if there was breakfast option as no-one ever offered it to us, but you can get good breakfast in the Vespa cafe or Yellow flower cafe (a bit further away, but a nice walk there).

Great location, super clean, beautiful pool.

Requested a midnight checkin and got the response that was totally fine, arrived and had to wait a long time as no one was there - this was a bit scary. The pillows were very big and the bed was hard.

it’s like a traditional Balinese family home and hotel at the same time… the room was super comfy and the staff was friendly. helped us book our driver and advised us for tour and experiences in the area.

Just a little far from the center. I don’t drive, but if you do it’s perfect right next to Sayan…

Such a great landing spot in Ubud, in the middle of the best area with many restaurant, coffee shops, walks etc. Yet the guest house is very quiet and all staff is super friendly and helpful!

Pretty quiet place and room, I could hear some birds in the morning, but very rare and short time. Nice and helpful staff, they even speak quietly when close to your room not to disturb you. Room is very spacious, good kitchen and tables.

It would be nice have a hand shower in the bath, as when it's raining you cannot use the main outdoor shower.

Fresh, clean rooms! Great location. Close to nearby cafes, great coffee & quiet & beautiful scenery. Nice walk down Penestanan Steps into Ubud. Yoga up the lane. Thanks Made, Putu, Wayan & Tina & co. Great Nasi Goreng & fruit breakfasts! Thankyou for making my stay really enjoyable.

Must be a pressure Valve at night so showers loose pressure. But other than that all great.

This was the best accommodation I had in Bali and I would definitely recommend it! It is really an oasis a bit further out of Ubud. The staff is super friendly, the place is clean and the price is absolutely fair.

Host and team were amazingly efficient in making the room extra clean. Making sure to mop and sweep the floors every day. Loved the room as it had a powerful a/c and really hot showers.

Everything! Thank you so much for the stay, we found the location to be perfectly hidden from busy Ubud, but just right distance to get around with scooter. Its so breathtaking walking through the temple and the local house to the garden/pool and to your room. Opposite to the beautiful entrance from the street is a small store with all you need (able to refill the gas and buy water) and next to it is an awesome coffee place thats open from 7am- Ubud Coffee Roastery. Couldnt find a better place in Ubud, felt like a paradise, so clean, calm, a beauty cultural experience and within reach to Ubud centre.

Amazing stay at the Cahyatika Guest House ! We were welcomed by such a nice staff in this guest house that literally looks like a temple from the outside. Only a 5min drive from the very center of Ubud so we enjoyed staying at such a calm location. Also the rooms are spacious and clean. We loved it ! Thank you again for your friendly staff 😊
