Very Good location Breakfast can be made and adapted to your food allergies and constraints. Well done chef!! The room is quite big and clean. The charming little animal noises at night.

We were very very disappointed when we got there because we felt there was a big gap between the pictures on booking (outside, natural pool, and rooms) and the reality. The pics might have been taken quite a long time ago. Be ready for mosquitos. But thanks to the net and the fan you will be safe. Maybe a little pricey for what you get and compared to other places we had been.

The hist was extraordinary

Great location - close to everything you need in Las Terrenas. Casa Picaflor is a nice, clean, hostel-like, location with very helpful owners.

It would have been nice to have coffee-making supplies in our room. Not a big deal, but amenities (fridge, kettle, etc) are shared with all guests, outside, and pretty basic. We were spoiled in other Las Terrenas locations -:)

Location is away from the noisy mainstreet - quiet but not ideal. Breakfast excellent, host very nice people. Good place to rest and find tranquility.

AC is charged separately which is OK, but the equipment is too small to really keep the room cool.

The natural swimming pool and the peacefull garden

Absolutely everything was perfect. The backyard with the swimming pool, flowers and animals is so beautiful and relaxing. It’s a quick walk to the beach. The backyard only has 3 other rooms but with all the beautiful plants we felt like we were alone on our porch. The hosts Alessandro and Kamille were by far the most gracious hosts we have ever had. They are friendly, give great local advice and make the most incredible breakfast spread. The best breakfast we have had in DR!!! Do not pass up the breakfast! The attention to detail at this place is perfect. The room was very comfortable and cool With just the fan on at night. We were so happy to have found this place and look forward to returning again when we need an escape from the city.

Rooms are spacious, very quiet place, bunny in the yard :))

We've got other room - not which was in the photo. Fan in the bungalow was very noisy - it should be fixed cause hard to sleep. Also there wasn't hot water - it is only in room which attached to the house. For 7usd you get quite poor breakfast - 1egg with potatoes and a bit fruits. Low water pressure in the room (attached to the house) bathroom. Pool is useless, its just decoration.
