From check in to check out, my first holiday with my 9 month old dog was great. I wanted a less peopley place, somewhere to relax, walk and take photos. As a lone traveler, I was made to feel welcome and at ease. Sammy suggested a woodland walk to catch the bluebells in all their glory. The property is surrounded by beautiful walks. Little barn is a conversion, I loved the open plan living space, which led onto a small decked area, which was part of a bigger walled garden with an outdoor pizza oven. Coffee, tea, milk and biscuits were provided which was nice. The bath/shower was great. The bed was comfortable, the antique furniture provided character to the open space too. I loved that after a muddy walk with the dog I didn’t have to panic about paw prints on carpets, this is a dog friendly property on a busy farm, they have provided great places to stay, where you can relax and feel at home with your four legged friends. Thanks for an amazing weekend, we’ll definitely be booking again.

The overall design of the barn, the large comfortable bed, the relaxing sofa and couch, the natural colours, the large bathroom with bath and shower, and the modern kitchen equipment was a real pleasure to see, use, and experience. Seeing the garden from the bed and opening the glass doors letting in light and morning and evening air was a delight. Having animals to see on the farm was very charming. The host was very friendly and available.

The heating system was a bit noisy.

Little Barn was an exceptional property - comfortable - warm and extremely well equipped. Full kitchen and we were able to entertain some friends there.Honesty shop was a great idea - although we didnt use it. Plenty of space for us an our dog to roam - abundance of wildlife .

Everything that was under the owners control was great - unfortunately they cant control the weather

I was having a break on my own and felt at home and lovley atmosphere. Thankyou

The location is perfect for down time, quiet and comfortable. The bed was comfortable and TV worked well. Plenty of cooking, eating and refrigeration facilities and the little shop meant there was no need to venture out on a rainy day.

It is charmingly rustic but could do with a bit of a tidy. The decking and chairs have seen better days and some areas could do with an additional scrub.

Great location, very peaceful and rural, (peaceful means ducks etc that make noise but just the noises of nature) The barn itself is really nice. The photos really don't do it justice. It's huge given it's for 2 people. Dog absolutely loved all the walks and animals she met

The only improvement would be to fix the motion sensor light by the front door, as it is pretty dark

It was self catering property, the owner was very helpful and friendly. Could find no fault at all and will book to stay there again . Absolutely enjoyed every moment.To wake up every morning to see chickens roaming around was great, also to be able to buy fresh farm eggs and be able to help yourself to fresh veg if you want.

There was nothing to dislike.
