The evening staff were lovely, chatty, friendly, and knowledgeable. The food was superb. Good and interesting selection of interesting, quality pub grub and Indian food. We enjoyed our dinner very much and would highly recommend it.

The room was clean and spacious, but I seem to remember the windows were dirty. Not sure now but I recall there being something wrong with them. Maybe the double glazing had failed and the glass was cloudy. There is an extremely noisy air/con unit in the car park that ran all night, disturbing our sleep. It sounded like it was in the next room but was in fact downstairs and round the corner. During our evening meal, our waiter suggested booking our breakfast then. It would make life easier for the morning staff. We ordered our breakfast and were told that it was served until 8.30am. Coming down for breakfast at 8.15am would be fine. When we came down for breakfast a fed up and miserable waiter/manager suggested begrudgingly we take a table tucked round a corner and implied we were late and just left us. No information about ordering our breakfast or what was available. When he appeared again we said that we'd booked our breakfast the night before. This seemed to greatly irritate him. He said something about the evening staff interfering and it made no difference when or what we booked. When the breakfast did arrive it was absolutely awful. The bacon seemed to be deep fried and was completely dried to a crisp and inedible. I can't remember now what was the matter with the eggs but they were horrible. The orange juice was watery and limited, the coffee was so revolting even my husband wouldn't drink it and he's happy to drink anything usually. The toast was warm soggy bread. All in all the most disappointing breakfast ever.

Lovely outside area, staff were excellent, food very good.

Our room was right next to the road. Cars passed all night long. We didn’t sleep well. If we had known how bad it was going to be, I would have asked for a room at the back,facing the car park.

Lovely traditional pub. Great atmosphere, super staff and excellent food.

Nothing not to like.

The traffic speeding on what is a country road just alongside the property , is noisy and possibly dangerous for animals and pedestrians.

The Blue Boar was lovely , staff very friendly , evening meal was fabulous . Room was a good size and very clean . Situation was close to Stratford .

Unfortunately there was a party in the bar and also outside and the music went on until nearly 1am which disturbed us . Our room also overlooked the smoking area which was noisy . I would like to return but I think a room at the rear of hotel would be quieter.

Beautiful location .Very clean and well presented with comfy beds and a lovely powerful shower. The breakfasts were wonderful and we had lovely servers on all three mornings

The room was above the kitchens and as we are early to bed people it was noisy due to evening restaurant service. The television reception was very poor and channels non existent for the most part.

Very friendly staff, we had a lovely evening meal and a good breakfast. Room was very clean, comfy bed and we had a very good night' sleep. Excellent location in the countryside for visiting Stratford, Warwick and there are some lovely national trust properties worth visiting in the area.

Not a complaint but a suggestion, maybe a menu of what's on offer for breakfast as we were just asked if we wanted a full English. There were some cereals and fruit juice that you could help yourselves to.
