We had a nice spacious apartment with decent airconditioning. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The food was amazing! There is also a cool bakery nearby and a supermarket.

This is probably the best place I have ever stayed. The venue, the garden, the room, the pool, the restaurant, the breakfast, the amazing staff, the rent and surf school are just incredible. Everything is perfect and the atmosphere is so chill and cool that I never wanted to leave. The cats who live in the property are so kind and beautiful. Just everything in Surfescape is terrific.

Amazing place to stay in Lajares! The room is very comfortable and clean. Also very quiet at night. The staff is also very nice and very keen to help with any tips about the island. Recommended to rent a car in order to see everything the island has to offer.

We liked everything. The only thing that we think can be improved is the breakfast. Everyday was the same, no variety of for instance yoghurts (cow, oat, soya etc.) options incl. the fruit options were everyday pretty the same. The only change was the orange was exchanged for the grapefruit. In addition, it was a pity to see that the two juice’s served incl. orange juice, weren’t fresh but came from a package. The place is very nice and it values nature by e.g. separates garbage, the lunch menu focus a lot on vegetables etc. but this wasn’t the case for the breakfast.

the space is absolutely beautiful, with a common area with swimming pool, bar and a coworking area. The apartment we rented was amazing, a little bit isolated from the other rooms and surrounded by exotic plants. Gorgeous outdoor space and a very comfortable indoor. Equipped with all the comforts. The staff is very welcoming and always available for any requests. The space is also close to supermarket, pharmacy, stores, bar and restaurants.

We loved the location, staff and how clean our room was!

It’s a shame that there was no kitchen appliances in the room. With only breakfasts being served in the hotel, you have to buy all other meals and cannot cook anything for yourself. As the place is meant for longer stays, lack of kitchen makes the stay more expensive.

The room was very spacious. The food that you could buy was very good. Great coffee (depending on who makes it). Friendly staff and an even friendlier house cat.

The room (10) was big, which was nice. We stayed there as 2 friends, so it was unfortunate that the bathroom could only be entered over one bedroom, even though said door could easily be moved. We stayed one week and our room was only cleaned once after five days. The towels were a bit smelly. Airconditioning didn’t work and there aren’t any Moskito nets. The breakfast was ok, but nothing special. only refrigerated fruit, which doesn’t taste too great and cold eggs. There’s not enough space outside for everyone to sit and the winter garden area is reserved for people who work, so a lot of time you need to sit all the way inside, even though it’s lovely outside. One other thing I didn’t like so much that it’s truly a place for people to work. So even if your by the pool, there will always be someone close by working, which doesn’t feel relaxing. But this isn’t the hotels fault, it‘s just something one should be aware of. It was disappointing that you couldn’t use the Yoga area, even when nobody was there (which was most of the time).

Staff is lovely and very attentive, the room is spacious, comfortable and clean. Excellent communication and responsiveness. Breakfast is very good, with fresh products, and the restaurant serves excellent food. There is the possibility to take surf and yoga classes and to use the coworking space. Very nice swimming pool and outdoor spaces. Friendly and relaxed ambiance. Really a gem!

Nothing, everything was amazing!

Good size room (we were in a double room with terrace) lovely balcony, well supplied kitchen and huge bathroom! We had breakfast included and there was plenty (amount and variety). We also loved the location. Lajares is just between Correjo and el Cotillo, two must see places, and the town has a lovely relaxed feel with nice cafés and restaurants (our favourite just down the road, La Boqueria)

As its just outside town we had a lot of mosquitoes the first night. However we told reception, they supplied us a repellent plug and after that the problem was sorted

Nice and friendly people who are working there. Room is spacious ans simple. Good recommendations for the visits of the island. Nice terrace with hammocks.

Breakfast is always the same and mini fridge was making a lot of noise.

The facilities are inviting and pleasing. My room was nicely furnished and renovated, including a small patio. Breakfast was a treat: homemade items, both healthy and various.The location is just a short drive between the main town/port and the nicest coastal town. It was a small, almost rural village. Plenty of parking.

All I can think of is you really need to use the provided mosquito net, not really a complaint, as it's thoughtful to provide one.
